Out of the six you picked, Chandelure is the only one is available before the E4.

Looks neat, and I haven't done any challenges in a while, so this'll be a nice way to get back into it!

Ok, forget the planning, I'm just pick my team as I go along, so some roles may change hands a few times.

Day 1:

Alright, I started yesterday so let's get this going.

Also, before I continue I have decided, after a lot of thinking, this is my team and THAT IS FINAL:

That said, here's my sole team member: (I haven't caught Audino yet but that's because I JUST decided on my final team, and the above was all done yesterday.)

Update #2!

I cleared Mt. Moon with 2 Pikachus, a Charmeleon, a Geodude, and a Mankey. All were level 20 except for Mankey, which was level 16.
First step into Cerulean!


After healing my Pokemon and stocking up for the gym battle, I headed straight towards Misty.


After pounding the lackeys with Shocker, I was ready to face Misty.


... Or so I thought. She pounded my team down into the ground that I raged and reset my game. :p So, I beat my way through the Nugget Bridge, and headed towards Bill's house. Oh and I caught an Oddish along the way.


After getting everything done up north, I decided to try my luck against Misty's Starmie. After one more rage and a use of a different strategy, I finally won!


Now, it's onto Lt. Surge. Geodude and I will get through this with ease... Hopefully...

Update #3!

So I just set foot into Vermillion, eagerly hoping to fight Surge.


After training for a bunch by beating trainers and Pokemon to the east (as well as catch a Diglett named Diggy), I set myself to board the SS Anne.


While fighting through the whole ship (and healing now and then), I head to the captain's cabin. And who else shows up?

(not so good, thanks for asking)

After a quick fight, I proceed to enter the captain's cabin... Only to find him upchucking due to sea sickness. After a few pats on the back, I receive an HM covered in what I hope is just green water. Once teaching the new HM (Cut) to my Meowth, I set to fight against Surge.


After beating every lackey there, I must now get through the gates.


After many tries of trying to find the got-dang switches in the trash cans, I now face Surge.


Aaaand, Graveler and Diggy beat up his team XD


Now, onto Lavender and Celadon!
(probably put those two together for a large post)

EDIT: I'll probably just do one more update, most likely the Elite Four and Championship.

So i start with 3, and then add 3 more after the 5th gym, not even on purpose

I got a question. When you say a Pokemon that knows Rapid Spin or a support move, do we have to include those moves into their movepool or just choosing a Pokemon that is able to know them is sufficient enough?

They must know the move. I worded it right on Rapid Spin, but not on the support move one, I'll edit it. But it says "A Pokemon who knows Rapid Spin" not "A Pokemon capable of learning Rapid Spin"n and the other rule should match after I edit it.

First update on Emerald from me:

- Started my adventure as JEW
- Received my starter Cyndaquill, and named him Minorah (I'm reading up on Hanukkah as i go, since Denmark has no Jews)
- Caught Santa the Spheal and Rebel the Beldum through hacking
- Made my way to Rustboro, noting how quickly Santa was leveling
- Santa soloed the first gym
- This game just seems to have something against Hanukkah. THE TRENDY PHRASE ON DEWFORD WAS "AWFUL FESTIVAL"!!!

** Changing my game to Emerald

I wanted to re-play Hoenn's Battle Frontier forquite some time now and my friend just happened to start playing the good ol Sapphire. Of course, I want to battle him for the lulz while he's still at it (plus it contains a game corner i need for the other challenge) As such, I've decided to play emerald with this team in mind:

1. By Light of Fire: Ninetales
2. Spin the Dreidal: Donphan
3. Maccabee: Aggron
4. Coming together: Golduck
5. That Not-Jewish Friend: Girafarig
6. Feast of Dedication: Elektrike (my friend's fave pokemon...i wanna eat it)

All of these pokes are ones that I've never touched in years. Aggron and Electrike were in my first team in the Hoenn region, going way back from a JP sapphire cart. Girafarig's ancient, being used briefly when my sister used to train one in Gold. Golduck, Ninetales and Donphan were also used way back during the Gold/Silver days, long before Crystal even came to. I only noticed after deciding on them.lol.

Progress Log:
- chose treecko
- caught a ralts, trained a bit
- traded ralts for seedot @ Rustboro
- Defeated first gym w/ treecko (DOTS not obeying anymore ;_;)
- treecko evolves
- captured Aron, then later Electrike
- defeated 2nd gym w/ lots of luck
- seedot evolves
- defeated 3rd gym w/ as much luck
- Elektrike finally learns Spark (forgot he had such a terrible moveset)
- earned my 4th badge thanks to Grovyle's Screech
- Aron evolves
- Lairon single-handedly kicked Norman's...

Now I'm on my way to capturing a Psyduck, then Phanpy, Vulpix and Girafarig once I reach the Safari Zone/cemetery area. Also, i trained a Nuzleaf solely to get my vulpix faint attack, since it has a crappy learnset.

My team is hilariously great cause it's 75% traded/gifted Pokemon ATM. Exp share + exp boost = ez game ez lyfe
