Life is a pile of bricks. Sometimes you just don't have enough bricks to build what you want at the time!

You need to get through Viridian Forest ASAP too. XD Virtually all of us are in Viridian ATM and some of us are about done. :P



You guys will crap chickens when you see how long my next post is. And I'm not even done with the saga yet! However the final post will be relatively short.

Unfortunately, 10 players seems to be the absolute maximum of what I can handle as a GM. That's why the spots are closed even though there are trainers and pokémon left. Thanks for the interest though!

I see, thank you for explaining although it was not necessary at all :) I'm glad you're not giving up and still want to be in! I know right, the stories are really entertaining :D I don't just think of this as a RP, it's like we're writing a book of stories that hopefully intersect once in a while.

On the matter of number of players, it seems like heretostay123 left a farewell note (for two weeks at least) in the RPD but didn't really notify me here or personally. So, um, if he cares that little I might poke him from the RP soon. I'm not sure I'll open up a new spot though; you are quite a handful already, my dear players ;) Which I love! Just don't want to overburden m'self and stress you up more.​

Well, pretty much made my closing post in Viridian Forest and decided to switch to present tense as compared to past since it adds a deep understanding when being read, and also allows for more freedoms when expressing a character's emotions without making a poorly-worded sentence.

I easily get confused when reading present tense posts, but I have used it in the past as well and sometimes I feel really good writing in it, yes.


I'm thinking of trying to write a post in second person perspective 8D For the lulz. As if the reader is Aberdeen. I just miss Checkmate a bitIt'll certainly be interesting!


Alright, I have a few more posts to get up until I'll continue but that doesn't mean that those who feel finished with Viridian Forest can't continue soon. I'll put up chapter 3 sometime this week. Sounds good? Sovereign can probably pull through and post when they have time :] As of now, interaction isn't crucial yet anyways.

It's full of action and battles and has a ridiculous word count but I'll let other people figure it out themselves. :D I'll have the follow-up battle up soon! YARGH.


Question: If a Pokemon would normally learn a move after evolution at that level (Like Grotle learning Earthquake as Torterra at the lowest level it can evolve by.), would we still have to evolve it at that exact level to learn the move or would we have to resort to a move relearner/tutor or TM if the right one is available later? I'm contemplating how I'd like my Pokemon to evolve for the story and move accessibility will have an impact on my decision. :)

Next post is done and will be up tomorrow most likely.

The wording of your question makes me confused O.o If you don't evolve it at that point, you won't get the move. It is like in the games. However, as with Riolu & Lucario, there are moves that the evolved form have listed as being known at level 0. These, I can throw up when I feel it's fitting when the evolved pokémon is leveling up! But the unevolved form cannot learn them.

lol I don't mean throw up. I mean I can give the pokémon such a move as a surprise if you write nice posts.

I've got a bit of an eye infection, so my next post might be delayed for just a day or two, depending on how quickly it'll go away. I suppose I couldn't get you to wait until sunday with posting the next chapter, Red? : \ Or saturday, at least? I know it's alot to ask, but I do really want another post in before leaving Viridian Forest.

If you feel like you can't postpone the chapter, that's okay, I just wanted to ask :)

Even though the next chapter comes up, you don't have to begin posting there immediately. Viridian Forest still stands, you know, and I too want to make more posts there. I just haven't had much time these last days.

Hey, I thought about something. Trading. Trading between players are always ok. But if you want to trade with NPCs, we'll have some rules:

1) the pokémon you receive will be of the same level that the pokémon you trade away, unless the chapter post states otherwise for an event or something.

2) in trade, you can only get pokémon from the current chapter or a previous chapter, unless an event in the chapter post says differently.​


Sounds fair enough? This can be a convenient way of getting a pokémon from an earlier chapter if you don't want to bother with traveling back.​

I feel like catching a scyther, but each time the though crosses my mind I'm reminded of what it evolves into and I'm like, lolgrossman, so I end up rescinding that plan. XD

What's wrong with Scizor? :3

I can't decide between Heracross, and Scyther. Now Ab' said he'd go for Scyther, but you never know how things end...
