Doom watched as his master ran into the woods. His primary instinct was to follow his master, but he had instructions. He saw the unfarmiliar trainer reaching for him, and he snapped at him. He didn't like how friendly he was acting. This guy was invading his personal space. He advanced on the trainer, his intention was too clear.

Doom smirked as the trainer started fleeing, this was what he was made for. He was chasing after him when he tripped. He activated his Fire Fang, and slowly stalked torwards his terrified prey.

Doom was about to spring when he was tossed aside by a punch in his side. He rolled over when he hit the ground, making it land on his feet. He saw an Aipom standing next to his prey. He once again powered up a Fire Fang, and leapt at the Aipom, latching onto one of its arms. Twisting his head, he threw it to the ground.

Aipom vs Houndour!

The Houndour reacted to the Focus Punch by latching onto Aipom's arm and smashing it on the ground. 'Aipom! Use Double Team to escape Houndour's grasp!' commanded Lucas as Aipom divided into two, then four, then six allowing the real one to escape the Fire Fang. The copy that was trapped in the Fire Fang dissappeared leaving 5 left. 'Aipoms, surround the Houndour and use Swift!'. All of the Aipoms surrounded the pooch and they had all began making their hand-tails glow as they began to shoot a barrage of stars at Doom.

Doom

Doom was biting his way into the monkey's arm, when suddenly it dissapeared. He shook his head in confusion, then noticed that he was surrounded by five diferent enemies, who all started shooting stars at him. Doom got extremely angry at this, and proceeded to torch one copy after the other with Flamethrower until he reached the original. He then continued to torch it until he was sure that he had done some damage. As he waited, he noticed the other monkeys in the tree were booing him, to which he barked ferociously, as if to say 'Shut up or your my next meal', which made them quiet down considerably. Turning back to his opponent, he crouched, ready to take the next attack.

Aipom vs Houndour!

After receiving alot of damage from Flamethrower, Aipom grew weaker. Lucas started to get nervous and worry about Aipom a little. Just then all of the other monkeys were booing the dog and cheering for Aipom to winning. 'Aipom! Dig underground! Take Houndour by surprise!' Aipom nodded and dug underground. Aipom dug and dug and dug, trying it's best to confuse the hound. 'Aipom get ready to strike!'.

Doom​

I truthfully hate that move... Doom thought as he saw the Aipom dig it's way underground. Instead of doing anything, Doom concentrated, and then used Earthquake. Once the tremors faded away, the Aipom was on the surface, and the monkeys were once again making a loud ruckus. To which Doom howled his unnerving howl.

Seth​

Seth was observing the battle calmly until the Earthquake hit. He didn't know where it had come from until he heard Doom howl.

Didn't see that coming... he thought to himself as he walked out of the undergrowth, the slightly frightened Heracross on his shoulder.

"Well, I did not expect that. Good match to all three of you." Seth said as he walked back into the clearing.

"Here, you may need these." Seth continued, handing Lucas a Revive and a Super Potion. He returned Doom to his ball, which he returned to his belt. He looked Lucas in the eyes.

"Don't be so down about it. Just because you lost doesn't mean that you aren't a weak trainer. You could have beaten many of the people that I've fought. I am also pretty sure that you could have wont his one too if I had been in control. I didn't even know he had earthquake!" Seth reassured Lucas.

"Now that that's over, how about I get you a Pokeball for this Heracross? It can't exactly ride on your shoulder it's entire life." Seth said, and he pulled out a normal Pokeball for Lucas, and offered it.

Teal
Teal was woken up by a tremble in the earth. "Uh, what's all the noise for." Teal sat up, seeing Seth and another kid just talking. Oh great even that guys even done a battle, how lame. Seth released his ponytail and laid over its back, he had a massive headache. "Go that way ponyta." He mumbled.

Kira
Kira felt an earthquake under her feet, "Hope there aren't any of those during our climb." Kira noticed Teal struggling on to the ponyta. She walked up and helped him up, "You better not be this weak on the climb." Teal shook his head no. And she laughed, "Well I'm ready soon."

Shadow​

Shadow flew quickly over to Seth as soon as he came in view. Seth turned towards him, looking a bit surprised, but then eased up.

Seth!!! Why didn't you come get me?!? He asked Seth, a tone of comic anger in his voice.

What? You didn't want alone time with the lady?

It's not like that!!!

I can read you like a book. Of course it is! Seth began lathing as Shadow became a bit frustrated. He turned around, only to see that Kim was watching him from the other side of the clearing, where Teal was trying to ride his Ponyta.

Seth​

"Teal! What's up?" Seth said as he walked towards his friend. He was leaning against his Ponyta for some reason. Hopefully it wouldn't interfere with the upcoming hill-run.

He looked back at Lucas and called him over.

"Everyone, this is Lucas. Lucas, this is Kira, Teal, Raphael, And their Pokemon Kim and Vel." Seth introduced, pointing to each one in turn.

Tristen S, Raikou Dorm
[Forest Clearing]

After finishing up that small battle with the wild Tauros, Tristen had decided that their training session had never quite been complete. They had headed back to their original forest clearing that they had found a few hours before.

Skarmory was nice and warmed up from battling that Tauros. After getting some food in its belly, it was ready to take on anything Tristen threw at him. Gabriel had been released from his pokeball as well and was glad to be rid of that boring pokeball. The small Croagunk liked open space just as much as his two companions, though he did take to small rooms every once in a while. He liked feeling cozy, but not cramped.

"Let's get started." Tristen clasped her hands and rubbed them together for friction and warmth. "We're going to be doing some endurance training. Gabe, since you just got out of the pokeball, start with a light jog around the perimeter to warm-up. Skarmory, we're going to try that weight-lifting exercise we did earlier, but with a tiny bit less weight."

Obediently, Gabriel proceeded to jog slowly around the clearing, pacing himself wisely thanks to his past experience with this sort of training. Skarmory grabbed a small boulder and began to fly and up and down, holding the heavy rock in his talons. He tried to keep his flapping even and smooth, all the while trying to fly vertically without swerving.

As she watched, Tristen sat down carefully. She felt a little dizzy--she hadn't eaten anything all day, and running around with her pokemon wasn't helping the fact. When she made sure that no one was paying attention, she sighed quietly.

It was still her first day at the PTA, and, more than anything, she surprised herself by feeling homesick. She had no home, so the feeling was ironic, but she missed mainland Hoenn.

After running away from Johto many years back, Hoenn had been her safe haven. She knew the region like the back of her hand; the white-haired girl had a terrific memory, and everything her red eyes saw was instinctively stored away for later use. Hoenn was familiar, and it held many hiding spots she could quickly tuck herself away in. Weeks were spent in solitude, and she always thought she liked it that way.

Tristen shifted uncomfortably as she watched her pokemon strength training. Almost the entirety of her friend group was working right in front of her. Perhaps... She closed her eyes for a moment. Once alone, always alone.

(Sorry guys. PCX has eaten more time than I expected. The brunt of it is over however, and it ends fully on the 7th.)

Shawn Williams
Raikou Dorm

Opening his eyes, Shawn sees the environment spinning around him, slowing down little by little. He quickly closed his eyes again, wondering why he didn't just take the ferry to the academy. Finally, he stopped and opened his eyes again. Immediately disoriented from the teleportation, he almost fell backwards, but something kept hold of him to keep him steady. The Alakazam that brought him here held him up until he got settled. Making sure he still had everything, Shawn turned to the Pokemon.

"Thank you for bringing me here. And tell the mayor I said thanks, as well.", Shawn said. He may be a little closed off, but he didn't want to be rude. Alakazam nodded, showing it understood, and quickly disappeared. Shawn shook his head a little and thought, "No wonder my dad never travelled this way." Thinking about his dad sobered himself up a little, as he walked out to see what he figured to be the Academy. Looking around, his eyes grew wide at the scenery and smiled for the first time in days.

He shook his head, almost slapping his forehead. "Sorry, guys," he said sheepishly, as he pulled out the three pokeballs. He threw the first in the air and Zapper came out, gliding through the air. The Emolga stretched her limbs out, so glad to be free from her "carrier", and zoomed out toward the Academy to get her bearings.

He threw the second ball, and Cactuar landed on his feet. He spun around a couple of times, looking around, and quickly waddled to Shawn's feet. "Don't worry, Cactuar," he reassured his Cacnea, "Everything will be ok." Cactuar looked up and nodded, falling on his back and rolled his way back upright.

He chuckled as he summoned his final Pokemon. "Alright, Sting, time to come out," he said as his Drapion stood in front of him. Sting stretched his pincers and legs as he surveyed the area they were all in. Shawn looked at Sting, then to Cactuar, then to the Academy.

"It's time," he thought, "Mom, Dad...I'll see you soon." He started towards the buildings, Sting and Cactuar following closeby.

Isaac and Jason

"Ya know Jason, I gotta ask why are you the only safari zoneranger I've ever heard of? I mean all the other teachers are pro trainers, andex-gym leaders. You had an after school job." Isaac asked.

"You make it sound like my work wasn't important, as well asthat I'm not a good trainer. My job back then was the equivalent of one of theteachers here. We just didn't have such a big school. I was teaching kids howto train pokemon and how to catch them as well just out in the wild. I think mypokemon are proof that I am a pro trainer as well." Jason replied.

"But if you are a pro why did you never get into the leagueof the gyms?" Isaac continued.

"Cause it wasn't my place. I wanted to travel and exploreand meet new pokemon. Being a gym leader or a league member means you need tobe accepting all those challenges, and you get tied to one place. My past withthe safari zone let me see rare pokemon, but in my travels I got to see them intheir original homes. Now come on step it up." Jason said.

Isaac nodded and swapped to more advanced commands for Tachto practice. He was trying to work on leech seed being used as a sort of landmine. Isaac also sent out Ace, and got him to do some standard practice with adummy in the middle of the battlefield.

"So when does this get advanced?" Isaac asked noticing thepractice was pretty much what he did anyway.

"As soon as you start putting some effort into it. Traininga pokemon is more than just commands. You gotta dig a bit deeper and push yourbounderies." Jason explained, "Focus on one thing that you really want to trainand improve then keep working at it until you've gone past what you thought wasyour limit."

Mark Wilson

Valorie was able to defeat the blue Pokemon easily but after that came some... bug... bird Pokemon. Mark made a mental note to study some of these other Pokemon. This Pokemon had scars all over it and had a scary glow on its eyes. It took care of Valorie's Pokemon fairly quickly but started to concentrate on Valorie. Instinctively he ran over to Valorie's side defensively.

Before anything else could happen someone approached behind the boy. It was Sabrina! The Saffron City Gym Leader. The boy ended up returning his Pokemon thankfully and it seemed to be the end of that. The Zoura that she had with him though transformed into a small boy and began to explain to Sabrina. What put a chill through Mark though was when he mentioned the "R Men"...

There was only one group he knew that could be called R men. But thats impossible... he couldn't mean Team Rocket could he? Mark knew Team Rocket fairly well. They were all over Celedon for awhile. It was awful and crime was on a high around the area. That was a long time ago though...

"R man... you don't mean Team Rocket do you...?" He couldn't help but ask.

Aipom's Defeat! Welcome Heracross!

Doom stretched it's feet on the ground releasing a powerful shockwave into the ground. The floor began to crumble and crack, Lucas looked petrified of how powerful this move was that it was able to shake all of the trees in the forest. From one of the cracks, skyrocketed a trial of dust with Aipom at the front and landed on the ground broken and unable to move. Lucas ran over to his partner in a state of shock while picking up his poor friend that had been defeated. 'Aipom? Are you okay?' Lucas said with a worried tone in his voice.

'Well, I did not expect that. Good match to all three of you.' Seth said as he walked back into the clearing with Heracross resting on his shoulder. He approached Lucas who had seemed so dishearted about his loss. 'Here, you may need these.' Seth continued, handing Lucas a Revive and a Super Potion. He returned Doom to his ball, which he returned to his belt. He looked Lucas in the eyes. 'Don't be so down about it. Just because you lost doesn't mean that you aren't a weak trainer. Unable to speak Lucas just nods and places Aipom on the floor. He then puts the point of the Revive Crystal on to his chest which released a light which gave the poor thing a bolt of energy. Aipom still struggling with the injuries sat up and looked at Lucas in disappointement, Lucas touched his shoulder for him to look at his trainer. 'Aipom, you did great!' Lucas said with a smile. Aipom smiled as Lucas began spraying it's wounds with the potion. Heracross began to cheer and dance around Lucas and Aipom, as Aipom showed it's cheesy grin to finally greet the Heracross.

'Now that that's over, how about I get you a Pokeball for this Heracross? It can't exactly ride on your shoulder it's entire life.' Seth said, and he pulled out a normal Pokeball for Lucas, and offered it. Lucas took it and looked at Heracross. 'Heracross? You wanna be my new friend?' Heracross smiled and hugged Lucas. 'Haha, well that's decided! Welcome to the family!' with that Lucas tapped the Heracross during the mid-hug as it's form got sucked into the Pokeball, as it dinged shut. Lucas smiled at his Pokeball with the new member of his team in his hands as he could see Heracross dancing through the Red glass casing.

Lucas sent out his new friend and introduced Aipom and Heracross formally. Heracross are usually 4"11 in size, however as this is still quite a young Heracross it was roughly the same size as a Makuhita making it 3"03. Heracross scooped up the monkey with it's horn and began carrying it as Heracross knew how exhausted Aipom was after it's bout with Doom. Lucas smiled and noticed Seth with a few people approaching him, with a Ponyta, a Froslass and a Linoone. Seth turned and called Lucas over to him. Lucas and his companions walked over as Seth began saying 'Everyone, this is Lucas. Lucas, this is Kira, Teal, Raphael, And their Pokemon Kim and Vel' pointing to each of them in turn. Lucas got a little shy and waved back at them all. 'Nice to meet you all, I'm Lucas, and these are my two brothers, Aipom and Heracross.' Lucas tilted his head as he noticed his hair sweeping past his face. He remembered the whole reason why he came out in the first place. 'Ahh! Seth! Do you still have my hat and goggles?'

Lucia Francisco Bernavard - Battlefield outside room 144 (Advanced Training club)​

Lucia was utterly shocked by what was happening around here. Two pokemon out in the middle of a hallway battling it out. Even when one fainted she thought it would have ended the conflict but then another came out. She idly wondered if any teachers were going to head over here and stop this nonsense when Sabrina, freaking Sabrina!, came over and began to ask what had happened. Of course, Lucia wasn't here at the beginning so she was very sure she didn't have all the facts. Still, Mark seemed to know this girl, maybe right now wasn't the right time to bother him. It seemed Sabrina had to deal with that girl first, on the other had she could show Eric around some more!

She grabbed Eric's hand and looked up at him, "I think we should go. I don't want to get in trouble on just my second day here."

Her brother nodded, "Too true. Very well. I guess I'll get introduced to your friend over there later?"

Lucia nodded and quickly walked away from the scene. It wasn't worth oggling over the scene just to get some discipline forced on her for watching. A permanent record wasn't that great with the word detention in it. As she led the way through the halls she suddenly remembered something.

"Oh! I heard that there was an announcement earlier today actually. Some kind of club for advanced training. I could learn some new techniques from there. It's at a battlefield close by."

Eric chuckled, "I think you should go at that by yourself sis. I don't want to embarrass you or anything. I can make some phone calls in the meantime. How about we meet by the dorm once you're finished?"

Lucia eagerly nodded and took off with Roberto trailing after her. Luckily she ran rather quickly along the walkways and finally reached the area, making sure to take a deep breath and wiping a few beads of sweat off her forehead and walked toward the battlefied where two figures were. She smiled and called out to them, "Hello? Is this the club?" She asked curiously. It was then that she laid her eyes on one of the figures and groaned, "You!" She exclaimed as she looked at that boy that she had almost fought in the cafeteria. Why did her day have to get worse!?

Shawn was surprised to see the crowd outside. "I wonder what happened?", he thought as he instinctively grabbed two pokeballs and summoned Sting and Cactuar back to him. He walked over to where the crowd was, but noticed a hint of smoke in the air. Shawn shook his head, conflicted over whether to find out what happened or figure out who to talk to about the Academy. As he pondered this, Zapper glided down to where he was, resting on his shoulder.

He walked past the crowd, turning his head partially to Zapper. "What do you think about our new area?" Zapper smiled and kinda nodded her approval. Shawn kept walking, taking in the surroundings, coming across what they called a battlefield. As he came closer, he noticed two people already there, standing around, talking, as a female ran towards the two figures. Shawn smiled to himself, deciding to wait and see if they would battle. He sat down somewhere nearby, away from the battlefield, not wanting to get involved. After all, he was a new arrival. "I'll probably have to check-in or register or something so I can get my classes. Hope this place is friendly," he thought. Shawn turned to his Emolga on his shoulder, who was almost falling asleep. "Must've gotten too excited again..." he smiled to himself, as he turned back to the battlefield.

Isaac and Jason

"Me? Wait… YOU!" Isaac said glaring at the girl, "Your fancy training not cutting it for you now? Gotta come and ruin my practice? What's a rich snob like you doing here anyway? don't you just get tutors for your pokemon?"

"Isaac will you calm down. This club is open to all students, and besides if she bothered to come it obviously means she intends to put in time for training," Jason said getting up from his seat on the bench, "and besides what the hell has you two so urked with each other!?"

"She insulted my pokemon because of an accident, and can't admit that all pokemon are wild monsters at heart. She treats them like little play things. Its disgusting." Isaac grumbled, "it's a crime against nature."

Isaac hands were tentatively reaching for his poke balls. He knew it was forbidden everywhere, but he really wanted to show this girl how monstrous pokemon could get. Jason definitely picked up on Isaac's anger, and was ready with his own poke ball if the kid wanted to try something. Ace was particularly pissed. After all Lucia had directly insulted him. She didn't even know him. If he got the chance he'd make this girl get to know him very very well. He wasn't thinking as violently as Isaac, but he really wanted a chance to trash her team.

"Now I want to hear the other side of this. Miss if you would please enlighten me." Jason said.

Lucia Francisco Bernavard​

Lucia's hands balled up as the boy continued to insult her. Roberto was not liking that one bit as the Scizor threateningly clamped his pincers together.

"Play things!? I know that pokemon are indeed not play things! You are just a snobbish, rude, and obnoxious boy who knows not the consequences of his actions! You don't even apologize when you are in the wrong! I at least have manners and at least my pokemon are much better trained and know how to avoid wrong doing!"

She turned to the man who was no doubt heading the club, "Like I just said, he can't even be bothered to apologize for his rude manners! I am here to learn various techniques and maybe even teach some of my own, but you know what? I think it's time for some payback!" She pointed at Issac, "You and me, now! A double battle, two pokemon only! We will settle this yet!" She snapped angrily.
