Tired, in despair, and lost. Danielle fell to the rocky bottom with so much exhaustion. Sounds of Poochyena and Houndour howling over the dark moon-lit sky can be heard anywhere, which is freaking her out. She started to shake, fear started to rise from her. Sector flew back towards to Danielle to see if she was alright. His wings are still glowing, illuminating half of the forest entrance.

"We lost them, Sector." Danielle said. "They ran off without telling me."

"Yaaaaan?" Sector's eyes were watery, feeling exhausted as well. He dimmed his wings a little to prevent losing accuracy. "Yanmaaaaa Yan!"

"I could have just taught Flash somewhere else, and not in front of a random Vulpix." Danielle said, picking up a few small rocks and throwing them at random places. As she threw a big one in front, she spotted a thunderbolt right ahead. "Wait, what's that?" She said, eyeing the flashing light. It wasn't a thundercloud, as there weren't any clouds anywhere. Not even forecasted to rain. Danielle couldn't help but to get up from the ground and walk ahead to find the location. It was possible that Ozzy and Mienfoo are over there, and Danielle actually recognized the blue thunderbolt.

"Paaaaaachiiiiiiii!" A cry was heard from afar.

Sector gasped at the cry. "Yanma!" He followed Danielle into the rocky path. The environment was getting rockier and less grassy. Smoke can be smelled in the air as well, which is starting to wheeze Danielle a bit as she walked. Until they both realized they are nearby Oak Island's Volcano.

"Ugh, it's getting hot." Danielle complained. "Where are they?"

All of the sudden, Ozzy came out of a huge rock out of nowhere, crying for help. He stopped to find Sector's flashing light aside from him, making him turn to Danielle. He was teary-eyed, lost, not knowing what to do. What could have happened to him?

"Ozzy!" Danielle exclaimed, as she hugged him. "You're okay. Where's Mienfoo?"
The Pachirisu starts to cry. "Pachiiii…."

Danielle didn't like the sound of Ozzy. Something horrible may have happened to Mienfoo, her best friend. He did his best to save Danielle from the Ember, but the least she could think about are the many worst case scenarios. It's a volcanic area, did Mienfoo burn himself in lava? Defeated by the Vulpix she was chasing after?

"Vuuuuuuulpix!"

The same Vulpix she saw earlier appeared right in front of her once again. This time, it looks pretty angry. It probably hated the glare of the Flash. Ozzy's tail isn't flashing anymore, but Sector's wings is. The Vulpix glared at the Yanma, ready to battle, growling with hatred.

Jake Timbers was his full name, as said to the secretary looking up his name and information. It took her a few minutes to look up his information on the computer's database. Jake looked nervous for some reason, which is starting to concern Megan a bit. She can understand the nervousness of a new student like Jake. She smiled as she awaited for the answer.

The printer started to turn on, printing a schedule out. The secretary happily gave the paper to Megan nicely. "Here you go."

"Thank you, ma'am." Megan said.

"Though he'll have to tell me what his address is. It's not registered in the database." the secretary said.

Megan glanced at Jake, seeing him nervously. "Jake, can you tell her where you live?" She asked as she reads his schedule. She did notice that one of Jake's classes has her Grass/Bug type class for first hour. That made her smile a bit.

Jake blurted out. "I...Johto!" He was shaking nervously...not knowing what to say. What was going on? Things were starting to concern Megan. New students like Jake shouldn't be that nervous. Why is Jake too scared in giving her the address. They aren't strangers or anything. Megan didn't want to be a stranger. All she was doing was to confidentially get Jake to where he should be.

Megan placed the paper on the counter and got close to the boy. "Where in Johto, exactly?" Megan asked again. "The secretary needs a complete address to confirm your identity."

No sign of Mienfoo anywhere. Where could he be? This is the actual situation when Danielle is in need of him right…now. It was only up to Sector and Ozzy to beat the Vulpix. It was definitely mad, as if it was actually attacked. Danielle doesn't recall attacking the Vulpix, nor her Pokemon attacking it. It just wants to fight.

"Sector," Danielle said. "I need you to fly ahead and search for Mienfoo. Bring him back to safety. Ozzy and I will take care of Vulpix."

The Yanma nodded and flew forward. "Yaaaaaaanma!"

Ozzy stood up, wiping his tears from his eyes due to his crying. Danielle spotted a burn patch in his tail, probably due to the Ember earlier. It looked horrible, as black as a bomb. He's been through poison, now he has to go through a burn tonight as well! "Pachiiii Pachi!"

The Vulpix decides to attack first with another Ember. Danielle dodged from the fire as Ozzy took another damaging hit with his tail. Then it runs towards him to give him a quick attack. The speed was even faster than he was earlier back in the Power Plant. The Vulpix roared to conclude his attack, but Ozzy was still able to attack.

"Spark attack, Ozzy!" Danielle shouted.

Ozzy didn't want to give up. His cheeks start to spark up, surrounding himself in blue colored electricity, aiming directly at the Vulpix. The blow was stronger, despite his weak health, but the level differences were actually there. The Vulpix struggled to recover after that hit, but Ozzy took a bit of damage being burned. His cheeks were still sparking out.

"Yaaaaaaanma!" Another cry was heard from afar. Danielle can finally recognize that it was Sector coming. She smiled to the fact that he was actually carrying Mienfoo with its small legs. Mienfoo had his eyes closed, seemingly like he may have fainted while trying to chase the Vulpix. It spotted them flying towards Danielle, and decided to throw another shot of Ember at them.

"Sector, Mienfoo! Look out!" Danielle shouted.

"Pachi Pachiiii!" Ozzy shouted as well.

"Miiiieen…." Mienfoo opened his eyes as he spotted the Ember flames aiming right at him. It was quick enough to give him a direct hit. One of the flames hits him in the face, causing him to let go of Sector and fall down towards the ground.

"Yaaaaaanma!" Sector called out to Mienfoo. He throws a SonicBoom at the Vulpix and quickly flies to catch Mienfoo with his six legs. Danielle screamed at first, but seeing that Mienfoo was rescued by Sector, she felt very relieved. The Yanma carried Mienfoo back to Danielle, with a red nose on his face.

The bruised Vulpix growled loudly at the three Pokemon. Sector cried back at it, ready to attack.

"Sector…you're our only hope, man." Danielle said. "Go show that Vulpix what you got. Now! Use that Sonicboom again!"

"Yaaaaaanma!" Sector used his wings to develop a boomerang-like attack, aiming at the Vulpix. That Vulpix took the hit alright, but it was able to go pretty quick. Using quick attack on the Yanma once again, Sector decides to use his own quick attack on the Vulpix as well. His wings started to glow again, indicating that it was using Flash to blind the Fox Pokemon. It wasn't enough to keep the Vulpix battling.

Danielle, Mienfoo and Ozzy ran towards Sector, who was finally able to defeat the Vulpix. "Good job, Sector! At first I doubted you, but you seem to turn out to be an amazing Pokemon!"

The Vulpix tried getting up, but could not because of its health. "Vuuuuul."

"It's my turn now!" Danielle shouted, as she takes out a Pokeball. "That Vulpix is mine now. Go Pokeball!"

As the Pokeball hits the almost-fainted Vulpix, it takes it in, and the ball closes with a red dot in the middle. The ball keeps shaking and shaking. Mienfoo was ready to fight in case the Vulpix decides to come out again. Ozzy couldn't get up from the ground, seeing that his tail is still severely burned. Sector dims his Flash from his wings, floating next to Danielle, awaiting for the ball to stay put.

The ball stood still. The Vulpix was officially caught.

Mienfoo stood there numb, this time he didn't react to the capture at all. He just stood there as if it didn't matter. It was just a capture. He was willing to retaliate if Ozzy was captured or Sector was captured. But no, Mienfoo minded his own business this time.

Danielle picked up the ball and glanced at it. "Well you three…you got yourselves an additional partner to work with. My third catch so far, actually."

"Pachiii.." Ozzy responded, numb and hurt from the burn.

"He was quite fast indeed. I mean, the flames he had…they were pretty quick and powerful." Danielle commented regarding the Vulpix. "Kinda swift indeed."

"Miiiiien." Mienfoo growled a bit at Danielle, wanting to leave the heated area known as the volcanic area.

"Oh I know, Mienfoo. Let's begin walking then." Sector turned on his Flash from his wings, leading Danielle, Mienfoo and Ozzy back out to the forest. "I'm naming this Vulpix 'Swifty.' It…sounds a bit….I don't know, but it's the least I can think of. Swifty, Swifty, Swifty. It clicks!"

Mienfoo rolled his eyes a bit, but he managed to keep his bad mood to himself. He figured he'd be training with him anyways. Ozzy walked up to Mienfoo and smiled at him, putting his tiny arm around him. "Pachiii Pachii!" Mienfoo didn't say a word, actually, and rubbed his head with his left arm. He grinned at the Pachirisu, thanking him for what happened earlier. Danielle doesn't know what actually happened when Mienfoo went missing, nor she will ever know. Everything became quite a mystery to her.

As Sector led the trainer and her Pokemon out of the Forest, they made it back to Oak Town, it looked late already, as most of the shops and businesses were closed already. Danielle was in need of a Pokemon Center, to heal Ozzy and Mienfoo's burns from the new Vulpix, Swifty.

"Well, guys…we can't wait any longer." Danielle said. "Sector, scour for a Pokemon Center nearby. We'll wait here."

"Yaaaaanma!" The Yanma left to search. Danielle didn't mind being alone in the dark, she knows that Mienfoo is there with her once again.
