^ may or may not concur that the word 'overrated' when used in that context can be broken down into; show is well liked, I don't like it, everyone who does like it is wrong, my taste in cartoons is infallible.

Ignoring that, yes, < does enjoy Evangelion. < saw 2.0 in theatres. It was ~magical~

^ is incorrect as to my definition of 'overrated'. I simply believe that while it is a decent deconstruction of the mecha genre, it has a number of serious flaws philosophically and with characters and execution that a lot of people ignore.

< just pointed out that the mass demographic of people who hate anything mainstream, when they use the word 'overrated' they mean just that.

^ Is likely to concur with the idea that people who simply hate everything that is mainstream are committing a rather ridiculous error. (I generally like things in the mainstream more than less mainstream stuff actually.)
