^ might not know that English, French, Spanish, Italian and all manner of European languages are rooted from Latin, and so many words are similar or shared. :D

The Latin-based languages are <s favourite. < speaks French and Spanish.

In fact, < is considering French for tertiary education, and < has <s Spanish GCSE next week (having done French last year).

^^ might know that the other languages of Western Europe are based on German and Scandinavian languages and that those do have lots in common
