reason charizard is the bad*** dragon arcanine extreme speed
Houndoom typing and typholision variety
blaziken was bad*** in its time torkoal cuz it the only one left
rotom type variety and gimick Magmortar stats
victini psy fire is bad and the ghost fire types

So I will give some reasons.
Charizard is the best fire pokemon in Gen 1. It learns very good moves.
Arcanine is good choice for trainers who didn't pick Charmander. It learns Dark type moves along with fire types.
Houndoom is epic in Gen 2. I soloed Red with it by the following moveset:
Flamethrower
Crunch
Sunny Day
Solar Beam
Blaziken is very fantastic. It learns good fighting and fire moves like Sky Uppercut and Blaze Kick. It has very high special attack along with sIt can learn amazing moves like Earthquake, Flamethrower and Rock Slide by level up.
Infernape is best of fire type starters. It can learn a lot of moves of different types and it is my best pokemon.
Magmortar is very strong. It becomes very strong after evolving from Magmar.
Emboar is very good with its good design and power.
Darmanitan have very good attack and it can use Flare Blitz boosted by Sheer Force and if you give it Flame Plate it can be very strong with Flare Blitz.
Chalendelure has mighty Special Attack.

Time to bring back another Topic: Blaine and Flint are Fire-Type Specialists. What are your views on them?

Also, we are going to have a Banner Competition.

Basically, if you sign up for it, you will be given up to 3 days to make UP TO three banners. After that, you must choose your best one for the competition. At the end of the competition, banners will be judged.

Now we have an Art Competition, a Writing Competition, and a Banner Competition.

I will accept Entrants for the Art and Writing Competitions until 24th September at 4:00 (English Time). These competitions end on 28th.

I will accept Entrants for the Banner Competition until the 26th September at Midnight English Time.

Answering the topics:
Blaine is one of the gym leaders in Kanto. He owns some good fire type pokemon. He is not that hard because he has only two families of pokemon- Growlithe and Ponyta.Flint is not good in D/P because he have only 2 fire pokemon. In Platinum he owns more fire type pokemon. I dont think that he should be a Elite 4 member. Overall If you compare them, Flint is a bit better

Gen I: charizard and Arcanine ( they are my fave fire type pokemon <3 <3)
Gen II: Cyndaquil line and Ho-Oh(I picked it as my starter in SS)
Gen III: Torchic line (I just love that Fire/Fighting type combination)
Gen IV: Chimchar line (My fave Fire starter line, and I love monkeys)
Gen V: Chandelure, Volcarona, and Reshiram (I like the Litwick line's designs, and Reshiram is my fave Legendary in Unova)

Which generation do think have best fire type pokemon?
Generation 1, their Fire-types had epic designs AND VERY POWERFUL <3 <3

On the Current Topic: Flint, in a nutshell, is the Hyper Guy who has an Abnormal nature. Flint is just raving around copying your rival's personality, going on Erratically about how he is burned to cinders after he is beaten. My opinion on him is: WHAT THE HELL. As for Blaine, he has not got a strong team, and apparently, he donated some of his DNA to Mewtwo. My very weird opinion on this is also: WHAT THE HELL. Flint is a tiny bit better in my opinion.

Also, now that I have 400 points, I'm going to evolve Quilava into Typhlosion.

How much size a Banner have to be of?
On curren topic :
flint and blaine are one of the weirdest peoples in whole anime.
But flint is a bit better then blaine.
And flint have much better pokemons then blaine in pokemon platinum.
So i think both are weird peoples but flint is a bit better.

You can add a new topic, however most of the current discussed Topics need to be fully discussed so that we can move on.

I will give you points for those banners.

However, since there's no Banner section up, I'll add it later.

On the Current Topic: I'd have to say Heart Gold and Soul Silver because you have such a variety. Also the Fire-Types you can get are very strong and some can even learn Dragon/Grass Type Moves.

I think it should be Black/White. You have access to some fire types before E4 but after E4 you can get a lot.

what's the best game for fire type ?
I'd have to say Pokemon Green/Red( I know we got blue) because in first gen they were stronger that they are in fifth gen.

Yes, indeed.

Just a little note to those who make Userbars who wants to join the Banner Competition: Userbars don't count.

Added the Featured Banners section (Where the best Banners are kept), and the Temporary Competition Banners, which holds all the participant's playing Banners, and the winner of the Banner Competition would have a big prize and their winning Banner on the "Featured Banners" list. If there's not a competition, and your Banner is good enough, it will be put on the Featured Banners List. On New Year's Eve, all the Featured Banners will be gathered, and the Champion Of Banners will be announced. After that, the Banner just stays in the Featured Banners list for another year.

Also, one of the Banners remade is below. It may look the same, but I changed the "Fire-Type Fan Club" so it didn't have a - at the bottom, since it caused problems, and I had made the Picture bigger.

I have to say Black and White, the Fire-types in Unova are extremely powerful and have good movesets as well.

Yes, but just make sure it isn't just one or two lines. However, you don't have to have different answers, as long as it's adding to what you said last, but in a different post since we don't take much notice of edits.

Also, remember everybody, those days for the Banner Competition only start when the other events have started! I hadn't posted this before Aryan posted the Banners, so please don't post them now, as they're a little early. However Aryan's Banners are taken into account.

On the current Topic: The variety of Fire-Types in HG/SS is huge. Great ones such as Arcanine, Typhlosion, Charizard and more can be found there. If you don't believe me, play the game, and see for yourself.
