I'm a solo hacker: I can script and map -
but my spriting is horrible.

Also, whats Nostalgia mean?

Nostalgia means a sad or affectionate recollection of the past, in this case purple resembles the OW from R/B/Y thus it is nostalgic to see him as a rival.

Hey T! Great Work! Cool rival, does he have a particular speciality to the Pokemon he uses or is he like Gary using different types of Pokemon?

1/2 Of his team is revealed in my avatar, the other 1/2 I'll make up later.
He starts out with an Aipom(Did I spell it right?)
and you first meet him on your way back from delivering the package to oak.

I still gotta finish the OW sets, but I'll leave that for tomorrow.

Anyways, I'm just a few scripts away from completing the beta, so I'll work on my second hack, Wind Version:laugh:.

well, the female player looks like the crystal one, so you should change her to an revamped version of the beta one from r/b, (she looks like the fr/lg girl w/o the hat)

Actually, the Female Player IS Crystal.

There's no need to change the Heroine, because it's fine to me.

the girl in fr/lg is Blue, green in the english manga, the female in Crystal is Crystal

I've decided purple will be a Johto Rival,(If we add Johto) Either way, he will be in beta 2.

I'll be happy to proofread maps for u and get rid of bugs if I can. I just played ur demo and noticed a couple of flaws in the maps.

No offence or any thing but James's hair looks alot like oaks.
Will lugia be obtanible in this

Those errors are most likely gone, and I already have beta testers.
I have no need for someone to proofread my maps.

are you later on going to do that thing where when you enter a battle instead of Pikachu popping out of a Pokeball it just jumps on screen screaming,"Pika!" like what the GBC Yellow did it

Anyways, I'll probably update this when I have the time, if there is anything to update....
If I ever get a new computer(I share this comp. with the rest of my family), I'll probably start hacking more often.

I'm planning to extend the beta's features, so the wait will be even longer.

Anyways, heres a quick update. I'm hoping to get the titlescreen similar to this,but with a better background. For now it's just a crappy paint-made banner.

No, she means whenever you used Pikachu in battle, when the special Pikachu that follows you around came out of the pokeball, he would say: Pika! Now it is possible if you make a special pikachu out of the 25 empty spaces and give it a cry that says: Pika!
