Lucia Francisco Bernavard
Suicune Dorms

Lucia nodded to the both of them. "Well, I'll be off then. What is there to worry about Mark? It's just bugs and grass types and Roberto will keep me safe." She said with a nod. "Oh, here's my number Nika." She said and quickly gave the girl her number. "We'll chat later today hopefully and if Roberto is feeling up to it you can study him." She said with a chuckle as the Scizor rolled his eyes.

She quickly checked to see that she had everything as Diana smiled at Len, "Yeah, I would like that. I don't have to be careful, I am a Lairon after all!" She said proudly.

Lucia pulled out two pokeballs and returned Diana and Samuel. With a quick wave to her two new friends she stepped out and headed over to the Suicune dorm. If I don't send that email off right now I'll just forget about it and this way I'll no doubt have an answer by the time I return, she thought to herself.

Roberto now had time to think to himself and he came up with an easy conclusion. That boy was no good news. He was easily getting past Lucia's defenses like they were butter. The Scizor idly wondered why her parents even thought about letting her come here. She would have been much safer at the estate. No matter, he was here with her now. He would also have to keep a close eyes on that girl there. Nika. She seemed to be a bug type specialist, but appearance were always deceiving. What would studying him achieve? There were plenty of books here on Scizors no doubt. Why not read one of those instead? If she did try that on him though, he would just keep many of his abilities hidden. An outsider wouldn't learn all of his tricks, he would make sure of that!

The dorm was quite a walk away, but luckily no one seemed to bother her on her way there. She was soon in the hallway, but as she came to her room she saw that there was someone standing there with a Scizor next to him. It didn't take her long to figure out who it was and she smiled widely and ran over to him and hugged him. "Eric!"

The man chuckled and hugged her back, "Hey there sis! How's it going?"

Lucia pulled away and punched him in the shoulder. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming!?"

The man shrugged as he rubbed his sore spot, "Eh, wanted to surprise you. The trial actually finished earlier than expected. Got some good evidence in that was pretty convincing. Only took the jury an hour to pronounce innocence." He said with a grin. "So, how is it over here? Good? Bad?"

Lucia smiled, "Good thankfully. Mom and dad still busy?"

Eric nodded, "Yeah. Still swamped over there. Hey Roberto."

The Scizor just meekly nodded as he head to the Scizor that was there with Eric. "Abdacus."

The other Scizor smirked, "Nice to see you too Roberto."

As the two Scizor began to chat it up Eric looked around, "So, your friend had a question about Ninjasks?" Lucia nodded, "Yeah. He's at the pokemon center right now, but I was about to head out into the forest to train Diana." She said as she grabbed a pokeball and released the Lairon onto the ground. Eric kneeled down and petted the steel type. "Hey, not too shabby Lucia. She looks in great health."

Lucia smiled, "Got her to evolve into a Lairon a short while ago." Eric chuckled, "That's swell. At this rate she'll be a Aggron in no time." Diana smiled a bit at the praise. Lucia nodded, "I know. Anyway, I just need to grab some different clothes. My dress isn't exactly the thing one wears when exploring forests." She said. Eric shrugged, "No problem sis. I'll wait out here.' It only took a few minutes for Lucia to change into a pair of blue jeans and a short sleeved black shirt. "I really want you to meet my friends first so we can go to the pokemon center."

Eric nodded, "Alright, sounds like a plan. Lead the way little sis." Lucia grabbed his hand and happily pulled him along as their three pokemon followed after.

Valorie Ryder - Academy Hallways
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Valorie felt the small pokemon nuzzle into her side and reached down to lightly pet Kiyoko on the head and back. She had a gentle touch, given she was once again not physically very strong looking. Really, she looked somewhat frail as far as upper body strength went anyway. This could perhaps be accounted for by the fact that she was both short /and/ skinny however.

He then asked her what she would do if someone tried to take him from her. ...Hm. Someone, steal her Pokemon? The very idea offended her. Her brows furrowed a bit in thought.

"...I will have Dragonite sit on them or something."

After a moment, she spoke up. "Well... We won't let them!" she stated in a matter-o-fact tone. She seemed to be implying that her Pokemon would be in support of this as well, or at least that they'd do what she told them to when it came to protecting Valorie from thieves.

...As if on cue, a boy in a singed uniform stumbled forward. Kiyoko would be able to immediately recognize this as a rocket spy, particularly the one he had /just escaped from/ earlier. The boy moved into Valorie's field of vision and greeted her, drawing her gaze. She was immediately kind of... put off by the smell and sight of burnt clothes. What do you want, smelly boy? Go change your clothes! Geez. It was what he proceeded to say however that really put her right on edge.

"Hey... Is that /your/ Pokemon?" the male asked, ever so innocently, directing a questioning finger in the direction of Kiyoko, who was presumably... hiding himself amongst the frills of Valorie's blouse? She had her hand rested on him in a steady manner. She wasn't afraid.

"Yeah..?" Valorie responded, to which the spy promptly displayed a look of surprise. Surely, a student hadn't managed to tame that crrrraazzy Kiyoko with a pokeball, right? "Oh..." the spy said rather simply before continuing in a casual tone, as if this were all just a misunderstanding. "No... no this must be some sort of misunderstanding--You see, I know the owner of that zorua, and--" the spy continued before being ever so rudely interrupted by Valorie, who by now was fully on-guard.

"No... he's /mine/!" she stated in a rather possessive, aggravated manner, reaching down and gently scooping Kiyoko into her arms, holding him against her belly. She totally had this aggressive look on her face, and the spy just sort of fell quiet for a moment, staring at her as if she had just crossed a line. Valorie was being openly hostile towards him. She wasn't doing a great job of hiding the fact that she knew he wasn't up to any good.

Next thing Valorie knew the boy whipped out a ball, emphasis on that whip part because he literally proceeded to back-hand her across the face with afformentioned hand while Valorie was busy shifting Kiyoko into one arm so that she could reach into her satchel to grab a pokeball of her own. She let out something of a meek squeak and stumbled a bit, startled and a tad confused. People generally didn't... hit her like that, y'know.

The male released a swampert and immediately ordered it to use hydro pump while Valorie was disorientated and she in turn barely managed to send out Haxorus in time to save Kiyoko and herself from the focus of that attack. Haxorus emerged from her ball just in time to be struck by the powerful jet of water. A spray of water was sent all over the hallway as water exploded off of Haxorus' armored body, mildly spraying Valorie and Kiyoko. The sheer force of the jet of water generated a wind that the two would be able to feel on their skins.

...Haxorus on the other hand was /not/ impressed. Being released into a hydro pump set her right off, and as she recovered from the attack she released a rather guttural roar that could be heard for quite a distance through the school. This actually seemed to shock the spy, who hadn't been expecting someone /quite/ so strong. He quickly recovered from his shock however. He was no pushover either.

"Haxorus, Dragon Dance!" Valorie called out, to which her haxorus began to do a rather primal looking 'dance' that looked... a lot like she was getting pumped up to pounce and maul that swampert. Go figure.

...Meanwhile, Valorie was still totally holding Kiyoko in one arm, presuming he had trusted her word on protecting him enough not to bolt.

Olivia Wolf - N's Classroom
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Olivia blushed, somewhat embarassed by N's comment about his plans having been for this to be a group exercise. He then began to ask her questions. Did she like grooming her pokemon this way? "Yes..?" she replied, her tone suggesting she wanted to see where this went. N asked her if it took a long time to groom her buneary like this. she glanced at Buneary and took a moment to consider the question. "Well, not /that/ long, but..." she replied, drifting off at the end of her sentence in thought. She may or may not have been trying to predict N's direction.

And then he asked her if her buneary enjoyed being groomed this way. This one stumped Olivia. She just sort of stood there for a moment looking lost. She glanced at Buneary, but it was kind of hard to read the pokemon's ever so cute face. She looked kind of ... tense though? Was that what she was seeing? "I don't--..."

Olivia crouched down next to Buneary, deciding to try something different. Perhaps she was supposed to talk to her buneary and interpret her response? That was what communication was... like right? "What do you think, Vivian? Don't--" Olivia started, causing Vivian to glare at her trainer, though Olivia didn't seem to be fully aware of what her Pokemon was doing.

...And then her buneary took a deep, bunny breath...

Next thing the entire class knew the room would be full of the sound of buneary's hyper voice, an irritatingly loud yell at the top of the small pokemon's lungs. And /boy/ did she apparently have lungs. Now, the attack was actually concentrated, and so it wouldn't hurt anyone... except Olivia. Olivia just sort of made her best oh SNAP face and promptly clutched at her ears in some semblance of pain. The attack lasted several seconds until Buneary abruptly stopped, perhaps having run out of breath. Olivia just sort of... rolled over onto her back and laid there looking freaked right the heck out.

Can you hear me now, Olivia? How about now?

Elizabeth - Elizabeth's Classroom
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The meowth tilted it's head and purred lightly as Roxas stroked it, displaying a expression. Like many pokemon, this meowth had the ability to use aura. This particular meowth tapped into the dark side of aura. A trickster and thief like this couldn't have tapped in any other way. For a moment he just sort of stood there, enjoying the situation of being pet. Then, Elizabeth spoke up in front of the class again.

"Um--..." she began to speak, hesitating a moment to check the time. The big hand had to be... there right? Right... So... "...Classtime is... coming to an end... If... if you've finished your... ball... Show it to me and you... can go. There's no... homework, but...--"

She hesitated for a moment. "Takumi..? Would you... please stay after class for a short while..?" she finally asked. Takumi probably could've said it himself, but it didn't seem like she was mad at him or anything. What could she want? Well, the good news was that she explained slightly, if not vaguely. "There's something I'd... like to talk to you about." she finished. She seemed to be very flustered at this point. Talking in front of a class was hard on her.

Meanwhile, the meowth that had shown interest in Roxas decidedly hopped off his desk and began to make his way back to Elizabeth, stopping briefly to receive affection and steal the valuables from Takumi. If he was aware of Roxas being in Team Rocket, he didn't show it.

Dardanette's Pokemon - Dead Forest
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dardanette's remaining pokemon seemed to stumble around, disorientated. Some more than others had been effected by the gravity, but the ultimate result was that her pokemon seemed to be more concerned with attempting to keep the fallen Gengar from literally falling through the ground. Now...

RUN, C.J., RUUUUUN! Dardanette is coming for youuu!

Mark was beweildered by the X-transceiver... it looked alot more advanced then his Pokegear... but numbers were numbers. They usually worked with different types of phones or devices. Mark used his Poke gear and gave Nika his number. Lucia eventually left to go out on her own so Nika and Mark were all that was left.

Len and Snype had finished healing up so Mark went over to the counter and received them from the counter, Letting Snype out of course.

"Sure thing Nika. I appreciate it. Really." Mark said smiling at her. "After we get everything settled, I'm totally open to train with you! I'll throw you a call whenever I can." Mark said.

きよこ - KIYOKO
Bizarre Twist

~

Kiyoko was somewhat terrified, though in the events that progressed he was slightly comforted by, oddly enough, Valorie's possessive and childish actions. While he didn't appreciate being treated like an object... (A very rare and sought after object) The feeling of being wanted to that extent gave some reassurance that she genuinely wanted to keep him safe. That Pokemon that she released, on the other hand... Was almost more terrifying than the "R" Men themselves. Definitely up there. Upon the Haxorus' release, Kiyoko shrank back closer toward Valorie. Yes, he was more scared of the Pokemon defending him than the attack that would have hit him.

He was soon pelted with sprinkles of water and a slight gust of wind that had slipped past the Pokemon. His coat now stuck to him, making him look even more like a twig than a Pokemon. With nothing else to do or say, he watched the erupting fight before him.

Nika Valentine

"It's the least I can do," Nika... kind of lied. "In the meantime, I would just try and spend some time with Able outside of a competitive enviornment. Get to know her, maybe give her a special treat to help her get over her bad day. And I have an idea for helping her gain some confidence in you, but we can talk about that later."

Nika coded Marks number into her X-Transceiver, puzzled by his Pokegear but deciding not to make too particular a point of it. She was about to say her goodbyes when an incredibly loud roar echoed throughout the school.

"What... what was that?"

Mark had heard the loud roar as well. It immediately caught his interest. It had to be a pretty big Pokemon to be able to Roar that loud... and Mark only knew a few people with Pokemon that large. The teachers and... well Valorie. Either the Teachers are having a practice battle or Valorie is up to something. Either way, at least now he can find her. It sounded like it came from the academy.

"I got no idea... I heard it to..." Mark said, giving a long pause afterwards. Well something big could be happening. If it wasn't trouble, then it was a battle involving huge Pokemon! Mark was eager to see it. He just had to follow the sound...

"I hate to leave in a hurry Nika but I'm gonna check out where that sound is coming from! I see you later!" Mark said as he quickly ran out the door. He started to follow where he thought that the loud roar might have came from...

Lucia Francisco Bernavard
Heading to the loud sounds

Lucia and Eric had been talking on the way to the center, mostly about how his case had gone when suddenly a loud roar was heard. Both Scizor stopped dead in their tracks and quickly exchanged glances. Eric rubbed his ears, "Ugh, that didn't sound good. Does that happen on a regular basis?"

Lucia shook her head, "I don't think so. I didn't hear it yesterday, but it sounded like something big."

Eric grinned, "Maybe a big battle is going on then? I wonder what pokemon it was. Hey! How about we head over and get a quick peek? Been too long since I've seen a battle first hand."

Lucia frowned, "Well, I wanted you to meet my friends."

Eric frowned, "True, well you can dial them up and tell them you'll be heading over there then. Didn't you say one of your friends... Mark right? That he was expecting someone else to show up? Well, while they wait for their friend to show up we can check out this battle and see your competition."

Lucia nodded slowly, "Sure. I guess it won't hurt."

Eric gave her a thumbs up, "Sweet. Now let's go check it out. Guys lead the way." He said to the Scizors who both nodded. Due to their trained hearing the bug types easily led the way through the school heading closer and closer to the where the roar came from.

Seth, Teal, and Kira
Seth was awakened by the chattering of his room's phone. Groggily picking it up, he answered it.

"What?" he asked whoever was on the other end.

"Hey Seth! Want to join a race we're having?" Said the unmistakable voice of Teal, sounding kind of exited.

"What kind? With who? I need more information." Seth replied, feeling much more awake.

"Just meet me in that forest clearing. Bring you're Pokemon." he heard Teal say before he hung up. Putting the phone back down, he got up and walked torwards the door.

I wonder where Shadow is... He can deal with himself. Seth thought as he walked out into the warm sunshine. Feeling a bit heartened at the prospect of some friendly competition, Seth walked back to the open clearing.

"Hey!" Seth said as he entered the large forest glade. "Well, this is more people than I expected..." Seth said as he saw everyone gathered. He saw Tristen, Kira, Teal, the boy that had almost drowned... They were all here.

"Okay, we will be racing up the volcano in two teams of three. You can only use you're Pokemon to help you climb. I have some rags for higher up the mountain." Teal explaned. Seth nodded then asked "Where is the other person? We only have 5..."

"I lust got in touch with Lucas, he will be joining us shortly." Teal said, easing Seth's confusion.

Seth, now satisfied, went to talk to Kira.

"Hey. how are you doing?" Seth asked.

Kira just shrugged her shoulders and continued to gaze angrily at Teal.

"Have you seen Kim? She was at the beach when I saw her last. Has she been around?" Seth continued to ask her.

She shrugged again. Seth was begining to get frustrated. Seeing that she wasnt about to talk, he went and sat against a tree, waiting for Lucas to arrive.

Shadow and Kim
Well, i think that this place is perfect... Kim said, and Shadow, mezmerized by her charm, could only nod.

You sure Kira won't mind?

No. Lady Kira can fend for herself.

Okay. You want to talk about anything?

Not now...

Shadow just laid back in the sand and closed his eyes.

Nika Valentine

Although Nika was perfectly used to being on her own, suddenly finding herself without the company of either Mark or Lucia left her feeling isolated. She had never had people be so openly friendly towards her, back home she had been singled out and ridiculed... but then again, she was much more controlled now. She did her best not to let her strange nature show, so it stood to reason that she suffered from less exclusion. Despite finding it easier to blend in she was going to have to make efforts not to become too reliant on the company of others.

For that very reason she decided not to follow Mark and investigate the strange roar, but carry on with her plan to head into Oak Town. There was no point in doing anything else before that anyway. Leaving the pokemon center she turned down the hallway a different way than Mark had and left the Academy building, starting on the path to Oak Town. As she walked she took her new Pineco's Heavy Ball out from her satchel and considered it.

She hadn't wanted to store the newly hatched pokemon in a Heavy Ball, it seemed... wrong somehow. But with no other pokeballs available choice hadn't been available, and keeping Pineco with her as she went to class... well, she knew now it was an option, but hadn't at the time. There were so many questions surrounding this pokemon, who had sent her the egg? Why? The letter had revealed next to nothing, and didn't match the handwriting of either her father or her mother. Who else could be following her progress enough to grant her an egg?

There wasn't enough information to answer these questions, the only thing that pertained was her responsibility as a trainer. She had this pokemon now, fortunately a bug type, and she was going to train it to the best of her ability.

Straying deliberately from the path she began to cut to Oak Town across the fields, keeping her eyes peeled for any wild pokemon. It wasn't long before she disturbed a roving Patrat, the little rodent glaring at her fiercly. With a faint smile she released Pineco from the Heavy Ball, the angular pokemon bouncing excitedly on the spot.

"Eco pin pin pine eco eco eco eco!"
"Calm down," she said firmly. "Turn your attention to our enemy."
"Eco?"

Pineco sort of... swivelled on the spot to face the Patrat, which seemed to be growing more furious by the minute. It had been disturbed in the grass. Disturbed! It would destroy all trespassers with the full fury of a level one pokemon!

"Pineco, you should know Tackle, I hope. Tackle the Patrat."

Pineco launched itself screaming at the Patrat, which charged with a Tackle of its own. Four minutes of back and forth Tackles later, Patrat lay defeated on the ground. She was going to have to figure out what other moves Pineco knew if he was going to be useful for... anything.

Charlie Fitzpatrick
Counselor's Office

Charlie was playing Tetris while sitting in his chair. The game, by that moment, had had its difficulty increased, and it was harder for the counselor to prevent the blocks from reaching the top and losing the game. And only a couple of blocks would get that done.

"Come on...Turn that way..." he muttered.

Then all of a sudden, an effingly loud roar was heard, and it was very likely that he was not hearing things. The roar startled him so much, that he almost fell down from his comfortable chair. Yeah, it was that loud.

"Holy cr-" he exclaimed, then took a deep breath. As he relaxed again, he could see that a block from his Tetris game was being stacked and reached the top, making a "GAME OVER" text appear. Charlie sighed and shook his head, then entered his name for the highscore and closed everything.

He had the urge to check whatever was going on there. He grabbed his coat, turned off the lights and left his office, locking the door behind him. Now where could this roar have come from?

Rosalyn Smith
Academy Cafeteria

Rosalyn glanced at Jimmy her head still on his shoulder and let out an inaudible sigh at what he said, she figured he didn't like anyone which is why she had no plans on telling him. She would rather have a crush on him and not tell him, than risk having her heart broken. Plus, she didn't want to risk her friendship with him. "at this point I'm probably stuck in the friend zone" she thought.

"so, what are your plans for the afterno-" Rosalyn started to say when suddenly a loud roar was heard, it startled her making her jump slightly and then hug Jimmy tight.

"w-what was that?" she said eyes wide as her Pokemon looked at her worriedly.

Genevieve Molyneux
Academy Grounds

"S-Sapphire!" Genevieve scolded a frown on her face as well as disappointment in her eyes. "you shouldn't have done that, either you apologize or your going back into your Pokeball, and don't do anything like that again, today is not the day for that" she said disappointment in her tone as well. Sapphire looked down at the ground and sighed before glancing at Lucario and giving a nod that qualified as an apology.

Genevieve meanwhile glanced at Maxwell and then took a step forward speaking to the boys Lucario. "I'm really sorry she did that, i-is he going to be okay?" she asked nervously. "Sapphire, she's just..." Genevieve sighed "really, protective of me, s-she thought your trainer had upset me earlier, and acted out because of it" she sighed more hugging Maxwell's Togepi egg gently drawing a bit of comfort and happiness from it. "she's normally very sweet.." she continued missing the glare and shake of the head from her Simipour.

Jimmy Vincent & Alice Crenshaw
Academy Cafeteria

Alice was listening to Rosalyn when all of a sudden the blonde girl was interrupted by a loud roar. Alice grabbed Jello and held him protectively, while Chuck almost choked on a soda can. Luckily his body was slime so he was okay. Rosalyn just hugged Jimmy having been also frightened by the blood-curling roar.

"Y-Yeah...What...was that?" Alice said, and moved to sit next to Jimmy, "I'm scared...

The rebellious-looking Raikou Dorm boy, however, wasn't as scared. He was slightly startled by the roar, but all it made him think was one thing. A powerful Pokémon was there. He thought of Zekrom, the dragon of ideals, which he had seen the day before, and smirked. But instinctly, he put one of his arms around Rosalyn, somewhat protectively. Kaida moved near Jimmy, but she wasn't scared at all, even though she was still a baby. In fact, the roar made her feel happy, and she wanted to know where it came from. She pulled Jimmy's jacket. Grim was unfazed, as always, and Starr hid under the table.

Biff walked up to Kaida. "I know where it came from." the maroon Houndour said, "Let's get moving." Kaida nodded, and continued to pull on Jimmy's jacket.

"What?" he asked grumpily, but body language from both Kaida and Biff made him realise and smiled evilly. He was proud of his team.

"Let's get going." Jimmy said, "We're gonna see what this fuss is all about. I think there's a very strong Pokémon nearby."

Rosalyn blushed faintly when Jimmy put an arm around her protectively. She was sure he wasn't fully aware of what he had done, so she wasn't going to say any to him. She was very happy to have his arm around her. "I wonder what it was" she said calming slightly. "Whatever it was, it's probably big and angry" she added returning, Melody, Swampy, Silver and Belle to their Pokeballs, Jazz refused to go back into his.

Glancing up at Jimmy she saw he had an evil smile on his face, but she wasn't fazed by it, in a way she thought it was kinda cute, but there was no way she was going to tell him that. "o-okay, I just hope it's not to dangerous, I don't want anyone to get hurt"

Sir Aaron Reiki II & Lucario

Lucario carefully lifted Aaron up and leapt back to the group and gently placed him on the ground. Believe it or not, this has happened many times before, but an attack that powerful... It was clear that Lucario was panicked. Aaron lay unconscious, and his hat rested over in the field, dropped during the knockback. Thinking quickly, he unbuttoned and removed Aaron's jacket, and lifted his shirt off. Aaron's torso was bruised and already turning shades of reddish-purple.

Lucario began to thrust his paws into Aaron's chest, and after a few repetitions Aaron coughed up a mouthful of water, slightly tainted with blood. This seemed to remove all of it, and Aaron regained consciousness, coughing up only droplets now. Lucario stood up rather quickly. Please, please watch him, I need to go fetch someone. Lucario quickly made his way through the halls and ran to Charles, conveniently in the halls already. Charles-- I-it's Aaron. Please, follow me. Quickly! And with that, Lucario left back out toward the group outside, in a hurry.

Valorie Ryder - Academy Halls
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kilik and Ruby would not walk in on a peaceful scene. Rather, they'd appear just in time to watch a Haxorus and Swampert face each other down. The haxorus belonged to the girl holding the odd-looking zorua and the swampert belonged to a boy. The girl had a nice red mark on her cheek from where the boy had smacked her across the face. She looked kind of mad, to say the least.

Meanwhile, Mark, Lucia/Eric, and Charlie would have little difficulty tracking down the battle. As the battle continued, they'd hear crashes, scraping noises, and the cry of the same pokemon they had heard before as the battle raged. A battle. In the hallways. For the record, this was completely against the academy's rules. One was supposed to bring their fights to the battlefield areas, to minimize property damage and mae sure nearby students weren't forced to walk through a raging battle. Also because Calnith hates Pokemon Centers Those just coming into the scene would probably not be able to conclude that this battle was in self-defense rather than ignorance of the rules.

The male was serious, determined, and ordered his Pokemon with a calm, stern voice to use ice ball. His Swampert curled into a ball and opened its mouth, releasing a rather strange mist that almost instantly crystallized around it on touch as if it were liquid nitrogen. Only, it formed a rather thick coating of ice. The ice boulder proceeded to accelerate in such a manner as to cause a loud scraping sound on the ground as it lost traction for a brief moment before launching itself at Haxorus. The dragon pokemon emitted a rather surprised cry and instinctively reached out, digging powerful claws into the ball of ice. It was dragon claw. Yet, this action was relatively ineffective, and mostly failed to reach the pokemon within the icy armor. Rather, it knocked Swampert into the air, where it crashed into the wall with a loud CRACK! The boy was preying on a type advantage.

"Haxorus, use protect" she called out, and the armored raptor-dragon pokemon generated a powerful shield in front of itself, only for Swampert to abruptly turn off course, speeding past Haxorus and crashing into yet another wall. This time, it left an actual large hole in the wall. Valorie's mind raced. She had called that protect a tad early. Without warning, swampert came back at Haxorus with even further increased speed. The ball of ice now looked to pack incredibly deadly force.

...And then Haxorus lowered her head. It happened in a matter of moments, flashing before the eyes of those present. Haxorus lowered her skull and shifted her head to the side just as Swampert was about to reach her, striking the ice ball diagonally with the axe blades sticking out of her head in a vicious blow that cleaved straight through the ice as if through thin air, shattering the ice ball in a fraction of a second and striking Swampert hard within. The resulting blow sent Swampert flying up against the roof, where it smacked against said roof and proceeded to crash against the ground. Haxorus had used counter, dealing absolutely devastating damage to the swampert at impact point. It was unclear if the swampert was able to get back up, though it immediately made an effort to push itself to its legs.

Haxorus, in turn, hunched over and rushed the fallen Pokemon with intent to make sure it /stayed/ down.

Valorie was a tad pre-occupied with the battle, and wasn't aware of Kilik, or the familiar girl from Self-Defense class. Though... they could feel free to grab her attention.

Seth

Seth was awoken by the sound of a loud Pokemon roaring. Not being able to name it by the roar, he deducted that is was from either the Johto or Kant reigons. However, he then remembered hearing about a newly discovered region by the name of Unova. He didn't know much about it, but he was sure that it had it's own dragon types.

Quelling his intense curiosity, Seth leaned back against the tree and started naming every Pokemon he could think of to pass the time.

Tristen S, Raikou Dorm

As Tristen was about to answer Teal, her Skarmory began calling out from above. The white-haired girl looked up and saw a look of distress--no, urgency--on the steel bird's face. It circled high and fast above them, and continued to caw out, trying to grab her attention.

She raised a hand into the air, signaling him to come down to ground level. He quickly obeyed, and was soon next to her, grabbing at her sleeve and pulling her away from the group.

"What is it, Skarmory?" She asked with a little concern in her voice.

He simply continued to pull her in a different direction as response.

She sighed and pat him on the head to calm him down. "Hey, Teal--looks like something's come up. Skarmory here won't leave me alone." The bird's pulling became a bit more forceful. "I have to go." Tristen looked back at the group of people behind her one last time before running off in the direction Skarmory was taking her.

"Here you go ralts these pokeblocks should make you-Gah what was that!?" he shouted as the roar rang his ears. His ralts quickly hid behind him as she too was startled nearly shaking cole then held the ralts in his arms and started to head for the door. Trying too see what made that loud roar "Cmon ralts lets see whats going on." he then put on his parent's team rocket jacket by mistake and walked out the door with the ralts in his arms.

[Forest Area]

Out of irritation, Tristen finally pushed Skarmory's beak off of her arm. "Would you quit it? You should know by now that I'm not going to disappear. I'm following you--so quit biting my shirt. I only have so many, you know."

He let go, and instead of pulling on her sleeve, he flew behind her and began pushing her forward.

Her annoyance got the best of her after a third shove nearly sent her tripping onto her face. She spun around and flicked the steel bird hard on the nose. A quiet tink sound resonated as Skarmory suddenly stopped. It didn't hurt him, but the act had caught him off guard.

"I said," she spoke quietly and enunciated every word carefully, "to quit it." She looked at him intensely in the face with her brilliant red eyes. She continued to speak in a subdued voice, "You are pushing it, Skarmory. Why are you acting so strange? You know better than to act this way towards me."

The bird looked uncomfortable under her gaze. "I'm not mad at you," she continued, "but stop bothering me like this. I said that I was coming."

She sighed as she pat him hesitantly on his beak. "Is it long before we get to where you're taking me?"

He shook his head and started to fly ahead of her. As Tristen said she would, she followed him until they reached the edge of the forest, far from the volcano where Teal and the others were left.

Skarmory stopped when he reached his destination and turned to face Tristen. "Well?" The white-haired girl looked around and saw nothing worth noticing. "What is it that you wanted me to see?"

He motioned towards the other end of the open field they had reached, and Tristen looked out to see what he was showing her. It was a lone raging Tauros chasing a single Aipom. Looks to me like that Aipom bothered that Tauros a little too much.

She straightened up and looked at Skarmory. "Are you serious? That's what you wanted me to see." She looked up incredulously. The steel bird simply shrugged. Of all the... She face-palmed. "Skarmory," she spoke frankly, "if you didn't want me to climb the volcano, you could have just told me, instead of dragging me all the way out here with the lamest excuse I have ever seen you pull off in a long time."

The bird put his head down in embarrassment. "I didn't really want to climb that volcano anyways, silly." She pat him gently on the head. "Next time, just tell me what you're thinking to the best of your ability--that way, you don't have to bother the crap out of me while doing it." He cawed, indicating that he understood.

Tristen smiled at him. "Thanks for caring, buddy." She looked back to the poor Aipom running for its life on the other side of the open field. "Well, since we're here, I guess we could do some training and save that Aipom while we're at it." She chuckled softly to herself. "But I don't know if I want to save a pokemon that gets itself into trouble."

Isaac Deladius

"You wanna check out what that was?" Issac asked Jason about the sound.

"No. We live in a world with super powerful monsters controlled by kids. I'm used to that." Jason replied.

"Oh... good point. Mind if I jsut start cause honestly no body is coming." Isaac said.

"Yeah. I guess so." Jason sighed.

Isaac sent out Tach and began to review some basic attacks with him.
