[Challenge] The Randomized Nuzlocke Challenge

OK, so, here's my first update;

- Started the game. My character's name is Cormac, my IRL name.
- Chose my first Pokémon, Dratini, out of a selection of Happiny, Snivy and Dratini.
- Beat Bianca and Cheren quite soundly.
- Got Xtransceiver from my mother, and then I went out, on my way to Prof. Juniper's.

-Got Dream mist for Fennel
-Fought kindegarten people
-Caught Weezing on route 3, named Roophyz
-Saved.

Game: Pokemon Platinum
Additional Rules: This is my first real Nuzlocke so i think i'll stick with the basic Nuzlocke stuff for now xD.

Btw i already started since i was bored so here is what i have done so far:

-Picked a Boy and named him Steven(My name).
-Named my Rival Barry(I always liked him as Barry).
-Had a choice between 1. Pupitar 2. Electrike 3. Psyduck.
-Chose Pupitar as my Starter!
-Barry got Electrike.
-Battled and defeated Barry.
-Nicknamed my Pupitar Kyoryu which is Japanese for Dinosaur.
-Received TM27 Return from Prof.Rowan.
-Dawn gave me some Pokeballs so now the Nuzlocke officially begins!
-Went back to route 201 and caught a F lvl 3 Dragonair who i named Mystic.
-Went to Lake Verity and caught a F lvl 2 Happiny and named her Scramble.
-Healed up and went to route 202.
-Caught a F lvl 3 Snubbull on route 202 which i named Snuggle.
-Fought some Gym Trainers.
-Saved and turned off the game.

This is fun so far.I should do Nuzlockes more often.

Update:

-Grinded until my Pokemon were all level 8+.
-Found a potion on route 202.
-Gave Barry his parcel and received my Town Map.
-Healed up and then talked to the clowns so i could get the Poketch.
-Headed East and fought Barry.
-Barry had Surskit and Electrike.
-After defeating Barry i went to heal then i went back East to get my catch for the route.
-Caught a Male Aerodactyl which i named Ptera.
-Scramble evolved into a Chansey!
-Saved and quit the game.

Ran out of time so i guess i'm gonna have to get to the gym next update.

Just an update, did a lot of grinding but it still wasn't enough for Kanto. Ugh... lost my team to a Trainer on the S.S. Aqua... I guess my Heart Gold run is over... but I'm going to try again! Back to Gen III. Hopefully, I can *finally* complete a FRLG Nuzlocke...

Game: Fire Red
Rules: Must nickname all Pokemon, no duplicates, randomize moves by type

My starter choices were Krabby, Tentacool or Cacturne. I picked Cacturne and named her Ivy. I fought my Rival's Krabby (it had Extreemspeed) and beat him. On Route 1 I caught a Hariyama named Gordon with Cross Chop, Submission, Karate Chop and Fake Tears and almost lost him to a Hoothoot with Shock Wave!
On Route 22 I caught a Whiscash named Leon with Water Pulse, Water Gun, Magnitude and Mud-Slap. I missed out on a Magikarp with Hydro Cannon.
On Route 2 I caught an Ariados named Arabella with Megahorn, String Shot, Barrage and Solarbeam.
In Viridian Forest I failed to catch a Chansey… My team is bad against flying types… I defeated Brock's Primeape and Shelgon and got the Boulder Badge.

I tried to play some randomized nuzlockes a few months ago, but I failed in all of them. I'll try again with some of the rules that I used: I'll start today and

I could throw out another one and make it a 3 piece. :) Might randomize more though.

Alright! I'll be a providing my first update when I play some more.

Also, I won't be able to play half of the time, as I swap homes between my mother's and father's each week.

Wow! I can FINALLY update, because my father's computer was being buggy. Anyway, here is my log so far!

-My starter options are Raikou, Tyranitar, and Natu. I pick Raikou and name him Zeus.

[Zeus, Raikou. Brave, Genderless, Level, Drizzle, (Reversal, Brick Break, Bounce, Blaze Kick), Poison type. Route 201]
-Rowan is surprised I "already evolved my Pokemon." Dude. It's a Raikou.
-Obtain Pokeballs. The Nuzlocke officially begins
-First Pokemon of the Route.... IS A FREAKING BIDOOF. Wow. What. WhatRandomizerhow
-I catch the Bidoof, and roll for an effect.

-I got number 20. Nothing happens c:
[Misa, Bidoof. Female, level 3. Jolly, Flash Fire, (Peck, Submission, Slash, Stomp.) Dragon Type, Route 202]
-I go back to Lake Verity and find a Probopass. I successfully catch it and roll. Again, nothing happens for my effect.

-I broke a rule about no healing. Eeps. If this happens again, I have to roll for a bad effect

-Zangoose on Route 202 with SUPERSONIC AND SPEED BOOST. OH MY.
-For some odd reason, I keep on finding some of the regular Pokemon. Like Bidoof And Kricketot. Huh.
-Misa forgot stomp for zap cannon
-I found an Old Amber.
-Lucas tells me I should catch more Pokemon.
-I get a Claw Fossil in the Trainer School
-Route 204: Found Omastar. Killed Omastar with a crit. Oops.
-Ravaged Path: Zubat. I named him Matsuda. (I will update with screenshots of stats when I can)
-I roll for an effect and get number 17. Next time I fail to catch a Pokemon, I can try again.
-I fight my rival. He has a Skitty and Natu. I win. Natu decided to spam Sharpen for whatever reason.

-I find a Hariyama and catch it, I call him Mogi. (But in a rush, I forgot to nickname him). I roll and get effect 16. The next time a party member dies, after battle, I'll have to sacrifice a Pokemon.
-More grinding.
-I find a Paras in Oreburgh Gate. I name it Higuchi, and roll for an effect.
Effect 13: I CAN RUN UNTIL OREBURG :O
-Accidently ran infront of trainer. Zubat tries to KO his Chimchar, but Chimchar uses a Super Effective Dragon Claw and kills Matsuda.
RIP Matsuda, level 5-9.
-Alot of my Pokemon arent healed. I'm in a sticky situation
-Higuchi is almost knocked out, so I switch to Mogi. I get very close to knocking it out, but it kills Mogi.

RIP Mogi, who did not level up at all.
-MISA TAKES THIS STUPID DUMB CHIMCHAR OUT.
-And because of effect 16, I have to sacrifice a Pokemon. I'm sorry, Higuchi. :(

RIP Higuchi, who also did not level up.

-Well, I just lost all my new Pokemon. Grind time then on to Oreburgh.

Another update!

-Zen headbutt Porygon almost killed Zeus.
-I get Rock Smash.
-I reach Oreburg, so I no longer am able to run.
-Route 207: Find an ENTEI. I knock it out.
-I forget effect 17 was active. OOOOPS. So I did not get a second chance, as I already KO'd two other Pokemon on route 207.
-Oreburg Mine: I find Espeon. I catch it with my last Pokeball. I name him Shulk. (Strangely enough, Espeon is still a Psychic Type.)
-I roll effect 4: which means I cannot heal the next afflicted status until I reach a new town.
-Soichoro is taken out by another Espeon. I use wood hammer, leaving it with 1 HP, and then it uses Aurora Beam. A crit one, I believe. I forgot honestly RIP, Soichoro. Level 3-12.
-Back to grinding...Especially for Shulk.
-Burned by Flame Body D: I have to rely on potions for healing so I don't heal Shulk and his burn, or else I'd breck effect 4.
-Zeus forgot Bounce and learned Toxic Spikes.
-Time for the gym.

I started using Icebreaker, but Her Slaking used Hyperbeam and Icebreaker transformed into a Water type, as it was vaporized ;-;. Fortunately, Wreck avenged her with a single Vital Throw.

Her second Pokemon was an Ariados, it was defeated in a couple of Speedy's Flame Wheels, and thankfully, Speedy was not very damaged.

Her "strongest" Pokemon was Clamperl. Just because it was Lv. 15. Lightning finished it with two Thundershocks.
