Lol, no bloody kidding. Not offending anyone in particular (If indeed I offend anyone at all) but a fair chunk of the people here apparently feel it's their mission in life to somehow piss/moan/groan/*****/twitch and/or mini-mod every post that foolishly tries to make itself seen.

Now, admittidly, not every post, but enough to make chatting here almost like waltzing through a mine field blindfolded.

It's a game mates, a wonderful one, one that I can't wait to wrap my eyes around, but it's nothing to puff up and bark about. Honestly; some kid says something stupid, set him straight. Some other kid does something he's not supposed to do, again, set him straight.

Like when this thread was just starting out, people were rational, things generally were pretty calm and all fuzzy-wuzzy-lovey-dovey. But I dunno, it seems like too many people are getting way too defensive or personal over, really, pretty trivial things.

It's just a game, it's just a thread, it's just people. No need to argue, especially over the net where people I guess can feel safe and high and mighty because they can get a way with acting like a prat.

All in all, and to sum up this rant; have fun, be safe, don't drink and drive, and for God's sake, don't touch a burning dog. Capiche?

EDIT: And mini poliwag, C.A would have to bloody God to actually like reading all the gefluffle around here and not be completely mad. But then again, he is giving us the most kick ass Pokemon game known to mankind, so he must either be God or mad. Huh....

lolz at all of you. I drop in to check for some updates as i have missed my computer for a few weeks and I see the same old argument. Now about thread closing? pssh please. I'm sick of browsing this site and finding only this thread having so much argument.

On another note, Congrats C.A. Its clear your game is by far the most popular this site has ever seen. With all this argument and posts, people will go crazy over your game if it turns out as good as it is suppose to be. If I were you, I'd probably be working a deal with nintendo and game freak about this so u can get a fat pocket

Even though he totally could get the green with the mack shiny this game's getting. XD

But I do feel like C.A deserves to have his name up in lights, if he can pull this project off, hell, I just wish I could be there when he has Nintendo groveling at his feet.

Its post like that that start the mine field. I mean you guys are clearly ignoring the orders of a mod. The said mod has clearly stated for you guys to stop the ridiculous posts and all. Hell if said mod was more active(and i mean more) you guys wouldnt be able to post with the amounts of off topic due to the fact that you would be booted out period. I know that im off topic to but im trying to make a point of what the hell all the off topic posts are doing to this thread. Pure gamers who like nice big games and can see the quality of the game will think hell im not playing it due to a bunch of noobs playing and destroying the fun so why would we play that?! And when that happens the work of many people including me gets shunned away and when i do said work it gets me upset.

i can't see nintendo begging to buy the game considering it's being made in an open source game engine. Unless everything is handled server side, then the client could easily edit stats etc.

I'm sure nintendo wouldn't make a game like this anyway lol.

Anyway more on topic, has anyone heard anything from the captain?

I speak to him alot but even i haven't heard anything recently.

Oh right fair enough. I may make a few new sphere systems that he may been interested in, for instance a new mouse object etc, hopefully it may help out alot.

As well as a few new public systems i'm working on.

We got it mate, we're sorry, slap us on the wrists or whatever you want. Though I reckon that most of these arguments stemmed from someone either making a joke not everyone got, or from an idea or comment that not everyone took the right way. But I'm just typing out loud. So, to get myself off the naughty list....

How about an on topic post; I've been flipping through the anime recently (To see what we can expect from the game, seeing as I hope by now everyone knows that the game's based off it, lol)

How are some of the Pokemon going to be introduced do you think? The ones that played a bigger role in the show I mean; I.E, Lapras (A Santa side-quest would be funny though) Togepi, Slowbro (That, another interesting side-quest. Having to catch both a slowpoke and a shelder for the evolution) and the other's that the show made a fuss over. Lucario's another good expample.

Or do you reckon C.A's going to ease off on that whole ball of wax and just make them really rare and only as event Pokemon?

What? We all have a sense of humor(especially me i just dont show it much around here) and when it comes to stupid posts and jokes what im seeing is that a lot of them are. Hell I can say even most of them are. And when they do that making suggestions and the like itis so there bleak off topic post is mad a bit on topic. And when that happpens 20 or so off topic oosts happen and its a never ending chain. So yeah we do have a sense of humor but not to the point where we make tons of off topic posts to a point of nothing but off topic.

*facepalm* no good? If the said infractions where given out like supposed to be then the said members would be afraid of a ban and thus calming there selves down and stop posting such obsenities. I seriously dont get the point of me even trying to make a breakthrough with you. Post as you please do as you want but oneday the mods will catch up.
Anyway i hope that tge 3 weeks will pass. Hopefully arcan has something in store for us no matter how small.
