Anabelle stands before the largest gambling joint in the Azelon Region, Philthy Rick's Casino.

Jager City's casino is full of both random characters and Trainers alike. Most of the said characters are angry at their losses or exuberant with their winnings. Find one who has hit it big and they just may be in a good enough mood to share their wealth! ;P Do be warned of the angry patrons in the casino, though if things get too out of hand security will throw them out. The casino introduces three new Trainer classes; the Dancers(♂♀), the Hostess(♀), and the Inebriate(♂).

If you chose to play as Kevin, you can enjoy the casino a lot longer than Anabelle can. You get to seek out the Gym Leader known as Electra; one of the twin Gym Leaders of Jager City. Electra is the daughter of Rick and is the lead hostess. She will be in her dressing room, waiting for her turn on the catwalk. She is decked out in her unique Ferreshock attire, while the said Pokémon acts as her guard. Upon locating her, she will gladly accept your challenge to pass the time. Electra has a team of three Pokémon and as suggested by her name, they are all Electric-types.

Folia
Primfield Village Gym Leader

Folia is the very soft spoken and timid Gym Leader of the Azelon Region.

She moved from her home of Hawaii to become a Pokémon Trainer at a very young age. After a close relative was promoted to Gym Leader in Primfield Village, Folia trained under his tutalage. He resigned in his old age and allowed Folia to take over his place.

She first meets the player outside of Primfield Village, looking around for her Gym key. Primfield Village is a very small settlement just outside of Dencreep Forest, known for its Pokémon Gym and Pokémon Day Care Center. After she requests the player to help her look and her key is returned to her, she will be waiting for the player within the Primfield Village Gym. Folia's Gym introduces one new Trainer class, being a Hula Dancers(♀). Every other week, intricate luau performances are held within her Gym.

Once she has been defeated, she will no longer remain in her Gym. She can be found performing for the sick children at the Dreadfuss City Hospital. Folia is notable for the Herbal Shop she owns within Primfield Village, and she is often criticized for never being in her Gym as she is often out gathering herbs. Folia has three quests that she asks of the player, two of which is required in order to progress through the story.

Despite her wavering confidence, Folia knows the limits to her and her Pokémon. Folia has been known to surrender during a Gym Challenge if she knows her Pokémon can no longer continue, which is another reason she gets criticized. She hands out the Fragrant Badge.

I like all the backgrounds you're giving your leaders... But all the side things like, stopping battles and luau's? Are these going to be visible or?

probably my first critique of the game but i think that some of the backgrounds of the leaders are a little unrealistic, such as Folia being "from hawaii" and the hostess in ferreshock attire. maybe i'm just being too much of a purist here but it just seems odd to divert from what the games are, so much, especially when you've been adhering to it so well

Well, their backgrounds are more or less based off of the comic I'm planning. I don't like how the Gym Leaders have little to no background. I guess I just got carried away with typing, honestly. I tend to do that. ^^; I like giving my characters personality. Thanks, though!

Having character isn't a bad thing,since you could perhaps even reference some things from it,like how she knows volcanic herbs for the Fire resistant herb since Hawaii is a volcanic island. And ideas for comics ain't bad either.

UPDATE

I have literally been trying to post this update for three days. I keep getting distracted or accidentally closing the tab. =3=;

I've reworked the event where you may pick your starter Pokémon. Instead of just choosing one, I've added a small grotto in the back of the lab. As Frostpeak is a mountainous area and the Lab was built close to the mountain edge, I went ahead and updated it. Willow will allow you to enter the cavern and catch one Pokémon.

Once you choose your Pokémon, her assistant will escort you out and attempt to catch the remaining two. You cannot return to the grotto once you exit. Returning to the lab will trigger a sequence with Willow before Flaire interrupts and challenges you to a battle.

As you can see, we have special overworlds! My new team members have done an amazing job thus far. Out of all of the fakes I have revealed, a good percentage of them are done. I've implemented the following script, so these little guys can follow you around! I'm not sure if they're supposed to be.. 'jumpy,' but I'll ask someone who has successfully gotten the script to work about it.

Anyways, this concludes this little update~

I have some light effects, they aren't pixellated enough for me... and the waterfall is like that because I've been too lazy to recolor the waterfall. =3=

EDIT: Willow is getting a name change! There are just waaaay to many Professors named Willow, in my opinion. I'll be debating her name with my co-owner and see if we can reach something.

Also, I've talked with my composer and he will be working on some special, unique music for the starter grotto!
Knowing his work, it'll be awesome.

Once again, Larxene delivers!

After downloading and reliving Okami in HD, I got quite a bit of inspiration for the Grotto. The sheer beauty and elegance of just the music alone is enough to make me nostalgia all over my television screen. ;;

Like I mentioned in an earlier post, visiting this Grotto is a one-time event; therefore, I wanted to make the music unique. This theme will not be heard within the game again, as it is special. So, I'll shut up and let you all get to listening!

Change Willow's name to Mace! Just thought that would work since it's an herb and apparently there's something about it related to psychoactive drugs,in relationship with Willow's chronic headaches?

Caroline Holly is the mother to Kevin/Anabelle and is happily married to Kenneth, whom is a reputable Black Belt within the Azelon Region.

She is described is aloof and offbeat, she is the best at what she does. Despite her short time in the Azelon region, Holly has made quite a namefor herself. She and Mulberry are the two Professors of the region and they are good friends. Like the rest of her little family, she too is from the Sinnoh region. She was Rowan's star pupil during his golden days and she has learned well.

She does not physically meet up with you until you have chosen your Pokémon and defeated Flaire. She happily greets her child and gives them ten Poké Balls along with the Running Shoes. She is quick to evaluate the chosen starter and she makes her way back to the laboratory. Returning, she warns her child of a mysterious group called Team Nemesis. She has stated that she doesn't know of their intentions, but she is aware of a recent attempt on the regional Champion's life. She warns them to stay away and with that, Holly meanders back to the lab.

Even though she wears heels of her own accord, Holly often complains about her feet hurting.

Aww, cool, so Holly is Anabelle and Kevin's mom, making them... siblings? That's weird, I thought Annabelle was from Solaceon and Kevin from the city? I've just gotten confused, and also they both have different surnames...

Hmm, in any case, can you put up a major revamp of the first post? I feel as if it has trailed off, because I see a lot of outdated things. I really want to know what is new, or else I can't comment :(.
