The Reunion
----------------------
Ayame Ibaraki
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

"Meh. I don't think you know much about me." Ayame said trying to intimidate Aki. "My genjutsu is probably the most powerful in the Five Great Shinobi Countries. Don't underestimate me. You could be in an illusion right now." Ayame had recognized that Aki was a new member of the organization, as he seemed as if he was 19-18 ish. When I shifted my eyes to Haru, his eyes were saying that he did know Ayame from Konoha.

Ayame Ibaraki. "I'd never have thought to see you here, of all places." It seemed that he had recognized me finally. It was about time.
But it seemed he had fallen into darkness. Haru mentioned that he was following the path of darkness, even though his eyes too said that he was following the opposite. He doesn't want to harm his old comrades. From the Leaf. I can tell...

She was already holding a mini-grudge against Akihiro for carelessly saying that Haru was better. Shin, on the other side was not on either's side, as what he said was true, "We each have our own strengths and weaknesses". He seemed like the quiet type, similar to Ayame but she could tell that Shin was the type that would work on his own. He seemed quite strong too.

That guy with the sword, Aki, Ayame hoped that she wouldn't get paired with him. Especially what he said back then. "But, he doesn't know I'm short-tempered. Too bad." But...

Who was the last member...?

Asina Paoi

Asina turned towards the voice that belonged to the new girl who properly introduced herself. "Nice to meet you, Asina. I hear you are known as the Burier. I am Ayame Ibaraki, the Legendary Illusion Of Konoha."

"A genjutsu user? How very nice to meet you!" Asina remarked with a content look on her face.

Chakra control was something Asina had learned and extensively practiced thoroughly in her time as training to be a medic-nin, a skill that helped when one fought a genjutsu ninja. She still hated genjutsu because despite her best effort she still got caught into it sometimes. Genjutsu users were skilled at being tricky, Asina was just glad that this Legendary Illusion of Konoha was on Kurotenshi's side.

"A path of darkness, how cliche! You just need to lighten up, Haru!" Asina weighed in on Haru's comments.

Asina felt the Iwagakure forehead protector weigh heavy on her neck as they talked about Konoha. Some of the time she thought back to her time in Iwagakure, even if she didn't technically grow up in the village she still missed it from time to time. She didn't miss it enough to go back, seeing as she was a S-Rank criminal that wasn't even possible. Luckily the village identifier part of it was well hidden by her robe but the purple material of it often showed when Asina moved about.

Relax. Is what Asina wanted to tell Shin, he was being all uptight over nothing really. Until their strength in battle was truly tested no one knew exactly where the others stood. They shouldn't be worried about who is the strongest, as long as they're all strong enough to carry about the mission. The mission that they were called here for. Asina looked over everybody... she counted five of them, which meant that someone was missing. In order to have partners they needed an even number, either someone was going to be alone or there was going to be a group of three.

Chapter 1
Akihiro Hamasaki
Reunion With Friends

"Nononono. I am not as strong as that." Haru let out a small laugh of what seemed to be embarrassment. "I am strong, yes, but I would consider myself a weaker member." Aki didn't say anything, but just stood there looking as Haru spoke. Meh, I still think he's probably pretty strong. Usually the non-sensitive ones are. Suddenly, Shin decided to give his input at Aki's comment.

"I have to ask exactly why you think that? You know nothing of me at all, and if you do it will be very little. Besides, all that any of us have to go by really is what we have heard in rumours. I personally don't think Haru is any more dangerous than the rest of us, nor do I think you are either. We each have our own strengths and weaknesses and you would do well to remember that." Aki arched an eyebrow. Yeesh, calm down it was a joke.

"Meh. I don't think you know much about me." Ayame started to speak. "My genjutsu is probably the most powerful in the Five Great Shinobi Countries. Don't underestimate me. You could be in an illusion right now." Yeah...I highly doubt it toots. The group started to speak among themselves for a little bit, as Aki grew a bit quieter. Asina seemed to be happy to meet Ayame, especially intrigued by the fact that she was a genjutsu user. When is the last member gonna get here... Aki thought. he was getting irritated of waiting, especially since Haru said not to be late, and yet one of them was getting rather tardy.

Klicer & Soneshi

Ch. 1: Squadmates

The still of the morning. It was something that few people were awake to experience. Klicer was not one of those people.

She stepped out onto her balcony, pulling her second ninja-grade sandal over her bare foot. She reached up and began tying her hair into a bun, the white tips transforming into streaks in the tiny ball of hair. She looked back at Soneshi, who was still asleep at the foot of her cot. She had dumped a handful of pellets, some lettuce, and a cut-up chunk of a tomato onto a tiny paper towel nearby. "I'll be back, girl. Be good."

She did a hand sign. "Here we go..." She felt her chakra flow down into her leg muscles, the relaxing feeling taking over. Every morning, she jumped across the rooftops and ran through the trees in the forest, to keep her legs limber and to keep them used to the chakra. The morning time was excellent for doing this, as the sun wasn't high enough in the sky to irritate her eyes, and there were few people on the streets, letting her run around as she pleased.

She stepped on the top railing of the balcony and took off swiftly into the air. She front-flipped and began flying down towards the rooftop below her. She landed roughly but took off none the less, jumping to the next one and the next one, continuing until she was getting close to the village gates.

When she landed, she noticed her favorite lazy guard, Tibitie, leaning against the beam of the gate. "Tibitie!" He woke up with a jolt, and then eased his gaze when he noticed it was her. "You can't sleep on the job, dude. Come on."

He rubbed his eyes and laughed. "Yeah yeah, don't lecture me. Did you bring my breakfast?"

Klicer reached into her tiny hip-bag and pulled out an instant breakfast of miniature ham-and-cheese dumplings and a morning tea in a pouch. "As always, your favorite. I'd heat it up for you but I'm still working on my Fire-style ninjutsu. I'm sure you can handle it."

"Yeah, I got it. Thanks." He took the breakfast, peeled off the lid, and began warming the box in his palms. "Are you going through the forest today?"

"Yeah, I have to go find Nev. He said that he was gonna go training again, and last night his wonderfully annoying raven told me he fell asleep in the field. He really needs to be careful, ugh. Sleeping in the forest is dangerous."

"I think I saw him trudging towards the ramen shop." Tibitie replied, biting into one of the dumplings cautiously. "He probably went in there to avoid your ensuing wrath."

Klicer groaned and dropped her head. "I hate going in there. All those spices and scents; it's far too painful on my nose." She perked back up and looked around. "Well, I guess I can tolerate it. Nev doesn't like any food with flavor, so he probably wouldn't order anything too intense. I'll go nag him. See ya later!" She turned heel and ran towards the ramen shop across town.

Ichiraku Ramen

"Uhck!" Klicer complained as she walked into the shop, fanning away the air in front of her nose. "Nev, did you really have to eat here? I can't stand the smells in here. It's too overwhelming." She griped as she sat down. The man behind the counter glared at her and came to the counter.

"If you don't like it, why are you here?" He questioned angrily, looking her straight in the her eyes, which flashed from a dark green to a threatening red as soon as the words hit her ears.

"This is where my teammate is, gramps." She almost hissed. "Remember, I'm still a customer here. If you would, get me tea. And don't put the herbal leaf in it. Please." The guy rolled his eyes and went to the tea machine, soon bringing back a small cup. "Thanks. So Nev, our squad has to take a mission today. Did you forget all about that again?" She asked, taking a sip of the tea.

I laughed politely, I had forgotten the mission, "Actually I did." I replied, "I got caught up in training all night though." I was fairly sore, and I hadn't even bathed, so I probably looked very rowdy. "I'm sorry." I said after thinking about it, "I haven't been able to look presentable." When my ramen was placed in front of me, I lowered my mask and ate quickly. So quickly in fact, that the owner didn't realize I had finished while he cleaned a few dishes. "I apologize again, but what exactly is our mission today? Hopefully something better than babysitting farm animals." I was hoping for a C or even B ranked mission, simply out of boredom and interest in training. "And quick, I have to work on a new Wind release jutsu.

Klicer & Soneshi

Klicer rolled her eyes. Was there ever a moment he didn't train? "You and your Jutsu. It doesn't hurt to not learn something new everyday, y'know." She drank from her tea again. "Anyway, we're probably gonna get another C-rank mission. Not enough stuff has been happening to get a B-rank. Although we might luck out on some sap who needs escorts. I wish..." She undid her bun and let her hair fall down. "I think I might specifically ask for one, I've been so bored with all the C-ranks."

Post 3: An Encounter Ruins a Perfectly Good Chat
"Since I can't use my kekkei genkai, I need to learn normal jutsus." I answered, "I prefer to work hard anyways, it is an option that makes me and everyone around me much safer in the long run." I reached into my pocket and pulled out some money, for both my ramen and Klicer's tea, though I was feeling exceptionally generous and paid for the third person's meal as well. "It is all on me." I said.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, "Nev, 'member that genin kid from earlier today?" I turned to see my raven still transformed to look like me. I nodded, "Well the little punk put the slip on me you see. He ran off inta the town and vowed to challenge ya. Oh hey! It's tha bunny girl! Hows it goin Bontare-Chan."

I sighed, "Can you please behave yourself in public?" I said politely, "Where is he?"

"I saw 'em go toward the north side."

I heard a yell from outside, "Nev, I'm here to challenge you!" The boy from earlier was out there. He had spiky, brown hair and dressed in a simpler version of a Jonin's uniform. He wasn't much to look at. I stepped outside out of respect, "Next time don't make your stupid bird fight me."

I laughed, "No offense friend, but I did that for your safety." My raven had reverted to bird form and landed on my shoulder, "You see, discounting my dojutsu, my taijutsu alone is enough to easily deal with you."

The kid became frustrated, and I felt guilty for sounding so condescending, but I also couldn't lie to him. He didn't say anything though, and he just stood there. It seemed odd to me, so I did a substitution jutsu, and as I suspected he had gone for a back attack. "How did you know?!" He said , getting into a fighting position.

"Last time we fought, you were very aggressive, now all of a sudden you are standing there?" I shook my head, "Not exactly a detective's work." He threw a few shuriken, which were easy enough to dodge, I didn't even have to show the inside of my cloak. "Can I ask why you want to beat me?"

"If I can beat a person with a kekkei genkai, then people will know how good of a ninja I am!" He said determined.

"I'm afraid that isn't going to happen." I answered, "I don't use my kekkei genkai. If you beat me, it would be essentially the same as any other ninja." I added in one more thing to raise his spirits, "But beating me means you beat a chunin!"

The boy ignored me and went for another attack. He went for taijutsu, which was fairly brave of him. I allowed him to punch me as hard as he could in the chest, which barely moved me from my spot. "You don't even have the strength to move me from this spot." I said humbly.

"I'll just train harder!" He yelled, throwing a smoke bomb and disappearing.

I laughed, going back to the shop, "Good thing I used chakra to lessen that blow." I said, "That kid has a much stronger punch than I thought."

Saiyuu Mori

Chapter 1: Beginnings

Saiyuu turned in bed, flopping on her back. Saiyuu then scratched her head and sat up, yawning again. She slid to the end of the bed and walked wearily to the bathroom. Changing into her clothes, Sai put extra care into neatly fitting on her scarf. Brushing her hair, Sai looked in the mirror and continued to brush. When she was done, she slipped on her hat, and ran outside. Ridiculous... I should've been awake.. This is so irresponsible of me! Sai thought, racing down the streets of Konoha. Sai ran past the Ramen Shop, paying no attention to the gathering until she had passed it. Backtracking, Saiyuu sat at a chair and fiddled with her scarf. This was her chance to meet new people, yet she couldn't even manage a 'hello.'

Klicer & Soneshi

Klicer rubbed her temples as she watched Nev beat the shame of the pathetic kid that had apparently been trailing him. "Nev, for once in your life, can you not have people fighting you everywhere? I mean, what if that kid follows us on our mission today?" Klicer stood up as another girl sat down beside her. "Then we'll be liable for his idiocy. And you." Klicer turned her terrifying glare to Nev's raven.

"How many times have I told you that I do not have a bunny. I have a rabbit." She corrected. "There's a distinct difference. Please recognize it."

She sighed. The one teammate I have, and he has to bring along that squawking idiot.

Shin Kaito

Genjutsu User... of course! How could I not have realised who Ayame is. She is indeed very powerful when it comes to genjutsu... although she seems to overestimate herself.
"An illusion right now? Not likely. I'm pretty good at genjutsu myself and I'm fairly sure I would have noticed if you'd stuck me in one."

The others seemed to be noticing the missing member themselves at this point. Shin, ever being the optimist, couldn't help but think that it was unlikely they'd be seeing whoever the sixth Kurotenshi was.
"I'm going to assume I'm not the only one who has realised we're missing someone. This means that either one of us will be forced to work alone or that there will be, at least for the time being, one group of three. I realise that whatever our mysterious leader says goes but I'm curious to hear what you four think of the situation. I personally don't care whether I have to work alone or not, although having someone watch your back is never a bad thing."

I'm not going to give any of them details on my abilities unless I have no choice. We may be a single organisation but we are an organisation of S-Rank criminals each with our own motives. It would be unwise to trust a group of criminals I have just met with that kind of information - although it will come to light eventually and it wouldn't do me well to not share if asked.

Aki stretched out his arms as they made a crack, and looked at Shin as he finished talking.

"I'm fine with whatever, really. If we get three, then so be it. It'll be good for me to see how the Kurotenshi really work if there's extra back up with the new guy." Aki didn't really care if he got an extra person with him in the group. Actually, he found it would be actually useful, seeing as he didn't want to screw up. He was just hoping that they weren't going to run into any strong opponents. "I don't know, that's just me though. Like Shin said. What do you guys think?"

Gothax Nakamura

Gothax slowly eating his ramen, taking the time to enjoy each sip. He couldn't get tired from eating these ramens even if he wanted. If there was something he could be addicted to, it should certainly be ramen. He could take time to enjoy his food in all the calm of the world even if today's events at the ramen shop were certainly far from being what he would call calm. A kid came around challenging a chuunin that he called Nev. Kids these days, being so full of themselves, thinking they could beat anyone with their puny powers and techniques. Thinking they are the best of the best just because they knew a single technique and not even a good one. He sighed, hoping that this Nev guy would finish his battle soon and he could go back to eating his ramen calmly or else he would have to interfere, something he really wished he wouldn't do because he would totally beat that kid. Then the guy paid for his ramen as well. Maybe because he was sorry for the disturbance and was using this as a way to apologize or maybe he was feeling generous. Either way, he wouldn't care. He finished his ramen quickly and was surprised to see the guy back. That guy may be strong after all. He had a question though. "May I ask why you felt the need to pay for me?" Not the most polite way to engage in a conversation but it was direct and honest and Gothax was a direct boy who would say what he needed to say without caring of being nice or not.

Haru Nashimura
Chapter 1 Part 5

The Sixth Member
Haru still listened as the group carried on, with a bit more difficulty because of the now active members of the Ninja Alliance interrupting our posts! the increasing number of participants. He listened as the conversation moved on to the ever elusive sixth member. They will be along, sooner or later. Haru knew the sixth member was going to show. He knew who it was too. He had yet to reveal his knowledge though. He was going to see what the others would think.

"I'm going to assume I'm not the only one who has realised we're missing someone. This means that either one of us will be forced to work alone or that there will be, at least for the time being, one group of three. I realise that whatever our mysterious leader says goes but I'm curious to hear what you four think of the situation. I personally don't care whether I have to work alone or not, although having someone watch your back is never a bad thing." The answer from Shin came.

"I'm fine with whatever, really. If we get three, then so be it. It'll be good for me to see how the Kurotenshi really work if there's extra back up with the new guy. I don't know, that's just me though. Like Shin said. What do you guys think?" The answer came from Aki.

Haru decided to speak up. "Have no fear, friends. The sixth member will show up. Leader has told me." He looked around. "We will have three teams of two, so you will not have extra back-up, and you will not work solo. The only member to do that was the legendary Zetsu, way back when." Haru had studied the Akatsuki, down to their favorite food, and quite frankly, he admired them. They were all powerful ninja, special in their own unique way, and most of all, their leaders truly fought for peace. Pain/Nagato and Konan...They were true warriors of peace. Someone that Haru could follow behind. The one member that interested Haru though was Itachi Uchiha. The Uchiha line had long since died out, so there was no one who knew anything about him, other than old scrolls and what-not. Haru thought Itachi reminded him of himself....but he knew that would be wrong. Itachi was far stronger, and possessed the Totsuka Blade, a feat Haru could never hope to accomplish. "But, again, do not worry. We will have our sixth member."

I laughed, "Just call him a crow, it is basically the same principal." I said in response the the bunny and rabbit statement.

"Crows are disgusting creatures who are nothin compared t' ravens." My raven said proudly.

I was asked by one of the other customers why I paid for his food, "Is it even a hard question?" I said politely, he couldn't see my smile behind my mask, but he could probably tell from my eyes, "Today is a particularly good day, and I felt like doing an early kindness while it is still young."

"The kindes' thing ya could've done was beat the tar out of that brat." My raven said, picking at his feathers, "I bet Bontare-Chan could've easily wiped the floor with 'im."

"Excuse my raven, he is always this rude." I nodded, "Anyways, my name is Nev Amoa, next in line of the Amoa clan. My team mate is Klicer Bontare." I noticed another girl who had slipped in earlier and said nothing, though looked at us like she wanted to. I locked eyes with her and motioned for her to come over and speak with us, trying to be somewhat inviting.

Ichiraku Ramen
Klicer & Soneshi

Klicer grew easily more irritated as Nev began inviting more people over to talk to. How can anyone be that social? "Nev, uh, maybe we ix-nay the chat-ay. I'm sure most of these people really don't want to be bothered this early in the morning..."

Honestly, I don't want to talk to most people in the morning... she thought somewhat bitterly.

Shin Kaito

Shin was slightly surprised to hear that whilst the other seemed to still be in the dark Haru new that the sixth member was indeed on the way suggesting that he knew who it was.
I guess he is one of the older members, it makes sense.
"Zetsu huh, I never really studied up on the original Akatsuki more than what was expected. But he's quite mysterious that one, even when I could be bothered trying I couldn't find much on him. Aside from that, you seem to be more in the know than the rest of us... I guess since most of us are newer members it makes sense though. Either way - is there anything we should know about anything that you haven't told us?"

I'm going to guess that other than the identity of member number six he knows little more than the rest of us. Whether he is acting like he knows more than us to try and bolster his influence or not I don't know... although that doesn't really seem like his kind of thing.

Asina Paoi

Asina keenly watched the others as she took a backseat in the conversation. She felt as if she should be doing some observing of her own instead of always chattering, but she couldn't help it. If the sixth member didn't show, then they didn't show. A three man squad, had there ever been one in their organizations history? Probably at some point down the line, but working in a pair was more much effective for their plans and strategy. Whoever she was partnered with she hoped that they at least enjoyed talking... or they would learn to enjoy it being partnered with her. Everyone hear seemed friendly enough, except Shin. It was clear that he was trying to keep everyone at an arm's length to maintain some shroud of mysteriousness about him. It wasn't working on Asina, she would badgered him later about his past.

Her ears honed in on the current comments being made. Haru spoke in some crypt way, as if he knew every little unanswered detail to every little questions they talked about. It was also odd how he seemed to know everything about everybody, a little too odd to be simply written off. That meant Asina had to get to the bottom of this and quick.

Asina flicked her golden eyes toward Haru as if they were a dagger, "Can you tell me how you're so informative? You've seemed to have done all your research on every member here, which is more than a bit suspicious if you ask me. We are all S-Rank criminals so I can give you leway on that."

"And 'The Leader told you so'? You talk to the leader? No one talks to the Leader." Asina couldn't help but scoff. It was true, the Leader never talked unless it was absolutely necessary and pivotal to their missions. He wouldn't be having friendly conversations with the Fire Demon, no way in hell.

Nyichi Nobu

Earlier...

Nyichi sat on the rough surface of a small boulder. In his right hand was a scroll that some random ninja had just dropped off and just as quickly puffed away. He twiddled the left strand of his orange hair falling below his chin as he read it. Already huh ? he thought. The Kurotenshi are a hasty bunch. He sighed deeply before hearing the caw of several crows above him. A light smile curved his lips as he looked towards them circling above him vulgarly. " Guess the blood drew them here. " he chuckled. He stood up from the boulder and gripped the long handle of a blade stabbed deep into the earth beside him. " I should be on my way. " he decided. He looked over his shoulder at the five decapitated bodies behind him before heading to the forest north of him. It was beginning to become a hassle dealing with Anbu's by himself. The Kurotenshi was exactly what he needed.

Present...

Arriving in front of the base of the organization he would serving was more nerve racking then he had first thought it would be. He could hear their voices chiming in and out of a unknown conversation. A couple of them were louder then others and others were more... annoying to listen too. His feet tapped against the ground loudly as he entered the room. Nyichi knew more then anything that he was making a entrance suitable for a Kurotenshi member. Or atleast he thought he was. On his back was the large greatsword that brought his name to the mouths of gossipers. He was Nyichi Nobu, Slayer Of The Dawn and now member of Kurotenshi. His name would be on the lips of much more then simple gossipers after this. He entered into the sights of the others, cutting off their conversation before raising his hand in a lazy saluting fashion over a dull expression. " Yo ? " he uttered. A simply introduction for a bunch a questions or glares that he was sure to come afterward it.

Shin Kaito

The interrogation conversation was interrupted by loud footsteps entering the small building they were using as a hideout.
Well, clearly that's not an enemy trying to sneak up on us. Sure enough, a young man with long red-orange hair and a magnificent sword on his back soon arrived in the room and greeted the assembled Kurotenshi, of which he was probably a member, with a simple "Yo".

"Well I guess he's not dead after all". Shin said in a deadpan tone.
Looks like he's going to be pretty good in close combat this one. He looks familiar actually - I guess I've heard of him.
"And who might you be?"

Saiyuu Mori

Chapter 1: Beginnings

Saiyuu sat in the chair in the Ramen Shop. It looked like everyone was gathered there. Saiyuu didn't know anyone so of course she kept to herself. While everyone was up and about being social, she sat there quietly, waiting for something. Sai had just awoken not to long ago, and was still weary with sleep after running all the way here. Sai couldn't wait to become a Jounin. The missions, the adventures, all that danced around in her mind. Sai had been working extra hard lately, not that she knew why though. Passing grades came naturally to her, and she was naturally going to become a Jounin in her mind. Sai was always on top of her game. From being a know-it-all to failing like a pro. She was always at her best. Sai need to focus. Bringing herself back to the present she looked around. Way to many people.. Sai thought to herself.
