The Comic Book Challenge
What is the Comic Book Challenge?
The Comic Book Challenge is a challenge that turns your choice of six comic book characters into your Pokemon! Now I know what I said may not be clear to some of you there so let me put this into simple words. You pick a comic book character then look at the list below to see what that comic book character's type is and then you choose any Pokemon you like as long as its primary type is that of your chosen comic book character. Note that you can choose from any hero, villain or supporting character.RULES
There are two sets of rules, one for basic and another one for hyper. The one that follows after this message applies to both.
1. Choose only six comic book characters.
2. You are allowed to catch other Pokemon but you may NOT use them in any battles of some sort.
3. No Pokemon Amie allowed if it is in your game. To strengthen your bond you must win in battles. But you may use it to evolve Eevee into Sylveon but only two hearts are required.
4. Nickname your Pokemon according to the comic book character it came from.
5. Hacking a Pokemon is allowed if you cannot find it in normal game play however, you must at least have one badge before using PokeGen or any other hacking tool.
6. Final Evolutions are allowed but you must catch their very first stage and evolve it.
7. If you chose the first stage of a Pokemon, you may evolve provided that you state that you will evolve it.
8. Pokemon Breeding is allowed. The offspring of your Pokemon may be used in battle provided that you only use one and add an indication such as II/III/IV or any other ones you can think of.
9. Egg moves are allowed.
10. If your starter is the type of the character you chose, you may keep it. If not, box it.
11. Hacks that introduce a new region out of Pokemon Canon are automatically considered a Basic challange.
12. Hacks that are a harder version of the game (Sacred Gold and Storm Silver) or demakes such as Platinum Red can be considered as a Basic and Hyper Challenge.
13. If the Pokemon you have chose can only be evolved through trade evolutions, use PokeGen and hack in your Pokemon.
Specific rules for basic
1. You are only allowed to lose wild or trainer battles three times. If you lose three times, you still have another life but lose another battle and then you finally lose.
2. Legendaries are allowed but you can only take one in your team and you must nickname it according to the comic book character it came from.
3. HM Slaves are allowed and can be used in battle.
4. For every 5 times you beat the Pokemon League, you earn a life.
Specific rules for hyper
1. You are not allowed to lose any trainer battles. If one of your Pokemon faints in battle, you are given a 5 minute time limit to revive it. If five minutes have passed and your Pokemon is not yet revived, it is considered dead.
2. If a Pokemon from your team dies, place them in a dead box.
3. You may replace dead Pokemon with the offspring of that Pokemon provided that you will add an indication such as II/III/IV or any other ones you can think of.
4. HM slaves are not allowed unless none of your Pokemon can learn a required HM, however they cannot be used in battle.
5. If all your Pokemon faint and your HM Slave is left, send it out and use up all your revives to revive fallen Pokemon.
6. For every 3 times you beat the region's respective Pokemon League, you get a chance to revive dead Pokemon.
What type is your comic book character?
