I figured since the Triad was being discussed in three different threads, it might as well have one of its own (so the others can stick to being what it was made for u_u)!

Based on the promo trailer, it appeared as though the Shadow Triad was completing a mission they were assigned. In Black and White, the Shadow Triad didn't have much of a large role in the larger scheme of things. However, it appears as though Black 2 and White 2 is going to fix that.

So what do you think about the Shadow Triad appearing in Unova once again?

Good idea creating this thread, there is alot to discuss, I also I didn't notice that promo from the anime, this pretty much confirms (almost) that they will re-appear in B2W2 I'd assume. Anyway.. to answer the questions.

So what do you think about the Shadow Triad appearing in Unova once again?

I'm happy that they are making a re-appearance, hopefully we will finally discover the mystery behind them and their purpose.

What roles do you want to see them play? Any ideas on what missions they may be sent out to complete?

I want them more involved in the storyline basically, appearing every so often and guiding you to a specific area doesn't give you much details or a background to them so there are things that need to be explained. Maybe you battle them in a triple battle a couple of times and as unlikely as this may sound they could be in control of Kyurem.

What side do you think the Shadow Triad is on (Team Plasma, N, Ghetsis, Akuroma, or even on their own)?

Good question, I'd say they were on their own.. even though in BW they were involved with Team Plasma, there wasn't much too it and they could have easily branched off to form their own small alliance.. either that or they are assisting N.

They look line awesome Ninjas

Yes they creep me out. But dang they look cool now. Somethig makes me think that they have a lot more influence in Plasma now than they did in the previous games. Maybe now they rule this Plasma under Ghetsis' supervision. After all they are unbelievably loyal to him, so why would they all of a sudden not listen to him if he were to return?
I'm excited to see them actually have at least one Pokemon. Maybe you can participate in a triple battle with them! 8DDD

Also, why do I have a feeling that they might teleport you to the Team Plasma base or something? That'd be epic. I like teleporting.

I was actually surprised seeing the Shadow Triad again. I think they could be siding with Team Plasma because they were very loyal to N and Ghetsis, and are trying to gather the remaining members who stuck with said team after it broke up.

I think they will play a larger role in Plasma too. They seem to be after the scroll in the trailer meaning that they might play a battle role this time around (hopefully they do), perhaps one battling you while the other two grab what they're after than leave after they get it like ninja's.
Also is it just me or does their hair look like white Zoroark hair?

I think they'll reappear, maybe with a bigger role. Not quite sure though, since it doesn't seem like Ghetsis will be in charge, and they only obeyed him. But, they were pretty mysterious so the trio could easily be added in and their background expanded on.

I'm wanting to see the Shadow Triad to be revealed as the Striaton Gym Leaders Cilan, Chili, and Cress. They dont look alike, but they are ninja after all. I'm really wanting the Shadow Triad to have a vifally important role and maybe even an appearance in the anime. I really want them to have fully developed backgrounds. I see these next games will be promising and I can guarantee success.

I could've sworn that was an actual Bisharp. Either it's unusally short for its species, or the Shadow Triad are naturally taller than it.

Anyway, I think the Shadow Triad should be battleable because they didn't get much screentime in the original; they only escorted the player to N a few times there, gave them some of his backstory in N's castle and gave them the Creation trio's orbs.

Oh lol Ya that could be true. Come to think of it, Bisharps do tend to have orange faces, and humans then to not have orange faces lol In the video I thought it was a person, but I'm thinkin your right.

That was one of the Shadow Triad's Bisharp. Everyone knows that the Anime doesn't play size well. Roselia is supposed to be really small and Drew's was to his waist. The Pokedex size is used as an "Average"

Ash's Krabby vs Gary's Krabby.

Well it makes sense they had a Bisharp, 'cause it's a ninja (sorta?), so we should expect them to have Escavalier too?

I think they'll be appearing a lot more than in B/W and that we'll get to battle them though.

I noticed that they had Bisharp, maybe when/if you battle them in game at one point, one of them or all of them will have a Bisharp?

They're looking pretty awesome in that anime clip, cant wait to see what role they'll play in the games.

I'm very interested in them as well. I thought it was pretty cool to have ninja's (in action) in the Pokémon games. I mean, not like Koga, who's a gymleader out in the open, but actual shadow warriors shrouded in mystery.

I would like to see them working for/with N. They were always around him in the originals, so I kind of assumed they had some important connection to him. It adds to the mystery of N (and his charm).

About the Zoruark comment... Yesterday I read somewhere that N's hair looked like a Zoruark's... can't be a coincidence anymore. :B

I'm glad they're making a comeback, I was hoping there would be more to them in Black & White. I'm guessing that they take orders from noone since Ghetsis told them not to find him, its really difficult to say.
Anyways I'm looking forward to battling them in BW2.

It would be great if they ended up being the good guys this time, the shadow triads would be amazin to see in action! But then again it would be pretty awsome to be able to do non-stop battles with ninja's!

I'm thinking they're still under Ghetsis's rule. Unless they're taking orders from N now.:cer_confused: I wouldn't mind them being with N, though. Ghetsis is a dweeb.
