Awesome joint-post guys. I was impressed. As I read it, I could clearly see the scene and story. It was nearly a manga. //thumbs up//

PS: your second post can now be off the ship if you please.
There is no real spot reservation system, nor is there a deadline. However there is only 1 spot left, so its whoever gets in first really. No pressure! :D
I have finished off Seth, if you want anything to be fixed just tell me. I'm really unsure if I did the pokemon's section 100% I may have left some stuff out just give me a hollah if I have ;)
EDIT I almost forgot, reference pictures, I have them ranging from all different types of landscapes. Also I don't own them I've just discovered them and bookmarked them because these things come in handy for RP's and Fanfics. Most of them aren't very useful right now for this because of the type of RP and I have no clue what areas are upcoming.
Also, is anyone having some connection issues with TitanPad, or is it just me and TSM? Cause my Titanpad seems to freeze up and disconnects when we're trying to write the post D:
is there a slot yet.
since im going on a trip tomorrow i'm going to write my profile when i come back so pm me with the info to register on the roleplay ok cuz when i come back i might forget what it needs to register. Also my trip will long at least 15 or 16 days so... nothing more to say!
What Watchman said.
Obligatory side note!: I shouldn't, but I shall.
Going to have an SU up one of these days (hopefully by next week if that's not too long). Thinking about doing Croagunk and Meditite.
Spoiler:
For the T R A I N E RName: Dirk Francis
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Appearance: Dirk stands about 5'8" and height and, as you can guess by his amazing photo-op, isn't all that buff. He's one of those will-forever-be-thin-no-matter-what kind of people, though if you asked him it's only because he goes outside a lot. Dirk has never been that big of a video game guy, so he's got a lot of eating and relaxing to catch up on before he starts putting on the pounds. Dirk also has longer black hair that, at the moment, he has no plans to cut. His grandparents haven't said anything either which is a really awesome plus. That mane will probably be shoulder length before he even thinks about it again. And last, Dirk's eyes, which aren't actually red, but blue. The only reason they look red now is because of how far we've gone with technology! And contacts.
Clothing-wise, Dirk likes anything with either light colors or a way-cool pattern that he can get into. He's more likely to wear stylish button-up shirts (sleeves at the elbows, no point if the sleeves aren't at the elbows!) or else some other nice shirt. When he's out looking for bones he wears throwaway clothes like t-shirts or old polos that he's okay with possibly ruining. Accessories-wise, Dirk wears a black watch and a silver tongue ring.
Personality: Dirk is uh... Naive. Dirk has the tendency to foolishly believe things, whether it be liars, salesmen, or really "helpful" signs in the park. If you told Dirk you had the best coffee in town he'll believe it. Well until he runs into the other best coffee in town, then he'll try the two side-by-side in a fierce attempt to prove the competitor wrong. Both his successes and failures have taught Dirk to be wary of advertisements, but that's beside the point. Dirk's naivete has gotten him into a lot of sticky situations and if it weren't for his ever vigilant grandfather, Dirk would be painting fences (happily) for hours. His grandfather blames it on him being too nice, while his grandmother says he's just a cute little pushover (much to both Dirk and his grandfather's displeasure).
His grandmother may be right, though. If you ask Dirk to do something for you he has a hard time saying no. Unless you're asking him to kill someone, he'll help you with a favor with Ned-like acceptance. He's tried getting better at saying no, believe him, but Dirk is much too nice to say it once the time is right. It's only after he's been burdened with a new task that Dirk realizes his mistake. After that he just has to get over feeling bad about not wanting to do it. It was okay to help people, he would tell himself, but why did he have to do it so much!? Still, his reputation for doing anything you asked gives him the "nice and kind" badge which is something he can't complain too much about. And if he's willing to help he must be a good friend, right? Right???? Yeah, of course he is!
Except.
Dirk doesn't really like hanging out with his friends all that much. Don't ask him why, he doesn't know well enough to tell you. Sure, he'll go outside or play video games with them or whatever, but he'd much rather spend time at home with his grandparents and the Pokemon at the Daycare than run around with his friends for hours on end. On multiple occasions Dirk will find himself wishing to go back home or that one of his Pokemon was there to pass the time. Dirk has been invited to a lot of things, so he assumes he's fun to play with, but the key word here is invited. Dirk never hangs out with his friends unless they call him first, and Dirk himself notices that ever now and again he'll make up excuses for why he can't hang out with them. His family and Pokemon are his first loves, as Dirk sees it and he'd just have to accept that no matter how much it worried him.
When he isn't with his friends, one of Dirk's favorite pastimes is bone collecting and (soon enough! he hopes) taxidermy. If there's any way to really show how much Dirk loves Pokemon it would definitely be through his love for vulture culture. If he could enjoy Pokemon so much in life why couldn't he do the same in death? There is an art and appreciation in finding, cleaning, and reassembling the bones of both Pokemon and animals. There was something special about keeping something that had lived life and experienced death. Much better than letting it be forgotten as dust. Dirk is excited to learn taxidermy and how to preserve insects in the future.
History: Dirk was adopted at a young age. So young in fact that he wasn't even aware of it until his grandparents told him about it when he was about fifteen. So no, Dirk's grandparents aren't actually his grandparents but they all like it a lot more when he calls them grandma and grandpa respectively rather than mom and dad. Dirk's grandparents had loved children and with no close grandchildren of their own, the two decided to adopt to fill the void. Dirk's relationship over the years with the rest of the family had very much been up and down, but it never really bothered him much anyways.
It'd be a waste of time and obvious filler to go on about how Dirk went to school and was a normal kid. We're all familiar with that tactic, so let's talk about something else. For example! Dirk's grandparents have been running the DayCare Center for a few good decades now and with Dirk under their care he's learning the trade. Here in Solaceon, the DayCare isn't just for taking care of Pokemon, but for adopting, rescuing, and even pampering Pokemon! People can even buy supplies there, much like a Pokemon Petsmart! Pokesmart!
Uh... Anyways...
Under his grandparentss tutelage, Dirk will no doubt become the master of DayCare centers! But until then he has fun playing with the Pokemon left behind by their dutiful owners. It was this constant being around Pokemon that left Dirk by the age of ten spending much more time with Pokemon than with people. Concerned that their grandson wasn't getting the growth he needs, Dirk's grandparents encouraged him to get out and go play with other kids in Solaceon. Eventually Dirk gained more friends to hang out with, but it was clear he'd never stop preferring his time with the 'mon over his friends so his grandparents accepted it, though they do encourage him to get out more.
It was also around the age of ten that Dirk discovered his connection with the vulture culture and with the help of his grandparents (and some great internet searches!) he slowly learned how to practice his passion. Dirk has bones and trinkets in his room, though the bulk of his findings out in a modified greenhouse just for him.
Aside from Dirk gushing over poison-types, this is as interesting as it's going to get for this history. Three years prior to the events of this RP, a man's Toxicroak gave birth to an egg--one that he did not keep! Usually when these things happen, Dirk's grandparents would add the Pokemon to their adoptions list. The only thing that happened different this time is that Dirk got more attached to this Croagunk than the other young Pokemon that had come their way (his grandparents suspected it was because he liked poison typed pokemon so much) and so he kept it. Dirk played with his Pokemon more than he battled with it (there was only one battle and it didn't go all that great) and the two quickly became best friends. It was a few months after that that Meditite that had been rescued was given to the DayCare in hopes of helping the Pokemon recover. Dirk was never filled in on the details, but he had an idea that it had to do with bad ownership. The timid Meditite was kept with the family to recover before being put up for adoption. Maybe the Francis family got too attached because she has yet to leave them.
Having his own Pokemon made Dirk even more interested them (not to mention it was fun going bone collecting with them from time to time). When he heard the broadcast for Jaywalker it sounded like an all-too-tempting way to find more Pokemon and, as his grandfather put it, "gain life experience". It didn't take long for Dirk to get on that boat.

For a trainer who does not have many friends his Pokemon seem to love him.
Yummy~
Although what Snivy meant for "reference" was pictures that could give him a better image of what a character's overall full body looks like ;3
Still, niiiice.
Lucky. I originally wanted both Torchic and Mudkip, but I was forced to chose between the two. Oh well, hurry up and make your post guys! I'm itching to post again.
