How can someone bypass the shiny lock in Pokemon X and Y?
It's pretty amazing how they can hack Pokemon X and Y now.

Not really, and they're not bypassing the shiny lock exactly, in the pokemon data there is a switch that determines whether a pokemon is shiny or not. They caught a normal zapdos which would always have the switch set to "no" and they just simply changed it to "yes", that's all.

Raskolnikov

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What tool are they using to do this? Powersave?
