whats the voice chat like? My cousin said if you have the wi-fi, and the headset, you basically call that person as if it were a phone. Is this true? and if it is, I've got to talk to people in Japan XD.

Yeah, if you buy the headset it sounds a bit more clearer but it works quite fine using the DS speakers. Basically, you can talk to people that you have added in a pal pad (you can't talk to just random people, they should be people you know or trust and have their special code ;p) in a two person private chat and during battles/trades. It's just like a phone conversation. :D But you don't call someone, you have to both be online and one hosts and the other clicks on their friend's name and then start to chat/trade/battle together.

i saw the japanese commercial for pokemon d/p wondering what that was. then when i got that game i saw people with that on and i was like wow.
