Save the game. The message doesn't appear if you have a save file in the game's folder. Raptor seems to use an older version of the fonts; I think the small font is different.

I fixed the move bugs, and the Arceus battle bugs. Arceus initially wasn't intended to use PP, so you guys had it easy (there was a typo in the script :P). I'm thinking of changing its moveset, so it has Judgment (of an arbitrary, probably random type). Its current moveset was just so you couldn't wall it with a Ghost-type, but if I give it Judgment, it will be able to have other moves too :P

try to give it a moveset that really has an advantage over every type if its possible

also wichu

are you sure there is not a bug with happiness evolutions?

I had my togepi since the day care with a sooth bell, never died, always in the party and it still can't evolve

has anyone else managed to evolve via happiness

also trade evolutions, impossible to do them since nobody is trading...

Yeah, I've tested it. If a Pokémon has enough happiness, it evolves. But that brings me onto another topic :P
Essentials (or at least the version Raptor uses) has an incomplete implementation of happiness. Most of the things that normally affect it don't work. So it's possible to evolve it, but very difficult. I'll work on adding happiness-increasing effect now ;)

I've found the bug and fixed it; the only way to increase happiness was to walk around (which increased it by 1 per 256 steps, regardless of Soothe Bell). I made it evolve by using debug functions to max its happiness :P
Version 1.8 with all the bug fixes is coming soon :)

what level happiness does it evolve at?

100? so I gotta run 25,600 steps after the update? will sooth bell decrease it a lot (the steps needed, sorry for asking so many questions!)

edit

also been looking everywhere for a sunny stone, any clues to where it is?

220 happiness is needed. Don't worry, I've included all the other methods of increasing happiness (healing items, leveling up, and vitamins) in this release, so you should now find it a lot easier to make it happy enough :)

There's no line in the scripts which deletes the save file, so if the save file's actually gone, it's not a problem with the game (unless you have a very old version). I can't help you any further in that case.

I've fixed most of the bugs, and am currently working on fixing the Ether bug. Many thanks for the error reports everyone; the game's not perfect just yet, but using those, I can work towards that goal ;)

EDIT: By the way, it may interest you to know that the Arceus battle error was caused by a missing asterisk (*) :P

Where should the save file be located again?
Maybe I know what's going on:
I lost to Kyogre, so I closed the game. I re-opened it, and pressed New Game by accident OFCOURSE. I got scared (), so I closed the game. When I re-opened it again, I got this message:
The save file was deleted due to damage or corruption.

If you mean that the version on the download is 1.8, it should be 1.7 (I accidentally typed 8). I'm pretty sure the version before that was 1.6.
And yes, the max resolution is 480x320. RGSS's Plane class only goes up to that size, so if it was any larger, some things would look weird.

The save should be in the same folder as the Game.exe file (named Game.rxdata).
I'll check the load script to see if starting a new game could cause any problems.

EDIT: Found the error; it happens if you choose New Game and then don't save. Now to fix it :)
