I found out I had to patch it, but after I did, it went into the intro but when the start screen should've popped up, it went black. Does anyone know what's wrong?

You bad patched the Rom, that's why.

Here's the full directions:

Download Lunar IPS.
Download the IPS file.
Patch the IPS file to a CLEAN Fire Red Rom.

Should it stay in? Should I take it out?
Should it replace Fly? Should it not?

I wouldn't say take it out or replace Fly, I think it should be a separate entity that can be employed.

Honestly I'd say both if it's possible but otherwise I think the bus system is fine as a replacement, it adds a bit of a unique feel to the hack.

Mind saying what those faults are? Sure the hack isn't complete but just saying it has faults without pointing them out won't improve the hack, and why do I feel the strong urge your post is solely to raise post count?

by brother downloaded the game and I wanted to see what he was playing so I started a new file somethings I thought need some improvement the maps arent that good there square like and the lab is phiscaly un real a lil dor area(looks like a closet) ends up being were oke is witch is a pretty big room the routes are also sqare and the overworld sprite and player character are basicly the same all you did was change the platelets to a diferent collor overall nice hack just fixs the things above :D

About this Part, it will be done by Beta 3. The OW Spriting will be done by me although they won't be really good... By not really good, I'm going to change their clothes and remove their hats.

I think I have seen this hack before. The mapping is done very well and I like the title screen. I would like to try the beta out sometime...anyway, good luck in completing the hack. The scripts look good too, .

Hey diego, could you put Ralts in the wild somewhere please? I'm a huge fan of Ralts and I want to do a Psychic type only run of the new BETA when it's released. I like this hack so much that I end up looking at this thread every day in anticipation.

Also, the bus system is great. Fly would also be cool for a field move to use outside of towns but I love the bus sytem.

I would like to ask one thing:
Can anyone make MIDI files? What about changing the instruments of already existing ones so they work? And looping?

One person doesn't need to do all, but it would be great if I could have enough people for those jobs. More, even, so I could always have backup people.

I guess I'm bumping this, but I just started the beta and it looks nice. Keep up the good work!

Also, (I hope I'm not the only one noticing this) but doesn't the first gym seem really hard to beat? I have 4 Pokémon around Lvl. 10 or 11, and I can almost never beat Raichu. Seriously? A level 8 Raichu with Thunerbolt and ridiculously high special attack? I suggest you revise this first gym.
