lol the screens only say that because there is not a finished story and the story eventing hasn't even and wont start for a while.

Your not being mean.It was my first ever try and it was in photoshop which I haven't really used either.and thanks for the opinion it was much more understandable than that last one since you actually said what was wrong with it.Pick something else and try again? what do you mean by that?

You should second look your work. and ask yourself, Does this really look like a pokemon?

Yeah, I was telling Blazers, just look at the drawing. Does it look like an actual Pokemon? or does it look like a hideous deformity of the hunchback of Notre Dame... or in your case, just a normal penguin with a normal Goatee.

Make the eyes.. the same basically. they're a tad bumpy.
Give it more originality to, that always helps. switching its colors can make it so much more different.

It was a decent first try.

What I mean is that the penguin has been done already, piplup and its evolutions. I don't know how you could change the penguin so that it won't ever be compared to piplup.

If he was to not do a Fakemon because Nintendo already did an one similar, that's closing a lot of doors for him.

I agree with Trace, just because It's been done once dosen't mean It cant be done again (maybe even better) I'd personally like to see both fakemon, and original pokemon in the game...It adds a little flavor...and I have a sugamori art tutorial if you need it OI...

I agree with Floating monkey pirate; they have more than one dog pokemon, more than one cat pokemon. . .besides in real life there's not just one type of penguin, there's a whole variety of penguins. Maybe OI can base his penguin off the Southern Rockhopper Penguin, they have cool hair
