just acquired third badge from Wattson it was found to be an intense battle between Manectrics. Both became paralyzed due to Static and required Wattson to use many super potions.

Electrike is such a pain to train up, it took nearly 3 Howls to be able to do decent damage to wild pokemon but with spark it then became a beast

Elite Four was pretty easy. Elemental punches gave great coverage, and Outrage smashes everything. I went through a few times and leveled up Kingdra.

Kanto was a joke. Everything fell in one shot. I used Kingdra for Brock's gym, and nothing else. Thing 2 Stayed in his pokéball.

Red was pretty easy as well. With Dragonite in the upper 60's, I bought a few X-Speeds and 6 X-Specials. He took Pikachu's neutral Thunders like a champ, then swept with a trio of punches followed by a three-turn Outrage to end the game.

I started off with Mudkip, because i herd you liek them and whatnot. Early game was easy, as expected, though I had a surprisingly epic battle with May. Traded in an egg that hatched into my Bagon. Mild nature was incredibly fortunate. Also, it looks like I got another male poke... My HM slaves in Silver were all Male or Genderless. The Dragonite I swept Yellow with was technically a Female though...

Well...I beat Norman...it was hard.Oddly enough the Belly-drumming-Linoone of Death gave me the most trouble..I don't really feel like updating my team....it's still pretty much the same....

On my Dragon Challenge, I finally managed to beat Brock, after dozens of attempts.
My winning strategy looked like this:
First I wasted T-Wave's PP on a Kakuna and a Metapod (took 2 Pokemon because Wrap was used because of disobeyance). Then I spammed Leer (used Wrap instead about as often as Leer itself) against Geodude so only Wrap was left. Only took some time and some potions. Against Onix, only Wrap was left, and with some more Potions, I defeated it. For some reason, Bide did not screw me up.
On to Mt.Moon.


Update: Beat Misty. I skipped as many trainers as possible before and inside Mt.Moon, and challenged here before doing anything else in Cerulean. After getting beaten like 10 times by her (a lot of these battles were VERY close), I finally managed to beat her now, with no Potions left.

Now I have to try to get to Erika before level 30, this will be anything but easy... At least I will get Ice Beam then.

I REALLY need to get rid of Thunder Wave, it's horrible on a disobeying Pokemon. I should have kept Water Gun or Leer instead...Wait, Dratini does no longer disobey, but I'm sure the time it will do it again will come, it's impossible to get to Erika that fast.

More Update:Beat Erika.

Because of the stupid Nugget Brige, I did of course not manage to keep Dratini obeying, after the last unskippable trainer before Rock Tunnel it evolved, and somewhere in Rock Tunnel, it started disobeying at level 31. Erika was still easy, I beat her on my first attempt, without even needing one of the many healing Items I bought. Now I have to beat Sabrina before level 50, it will not be as hard since I still got a lot of levels left until then, and can skip almost the whole lot of Silph Co trainers if I want.

I believe that if you battle the SchoolBoy by the MooMoo Farm, he will call after a while and offer you a Fire Stone. I'm pretty sure.

Fire Monotype Challenge: Part 23 - "What Are You Doing Falling In a Hole Like That? Serves You Right!" aka Lots of Progress Made

• Defeated the Kimono Girls and got Surf.
• Defeated Rival Shawn and released the Legendary Dogs/Gerbils/Felines (I would argue that they are felines. I mean, Entei looks like a lion and Raikou looks like a saber-tooth tiger.)
• Defeated Morty. I always liked Morty. For the first time in history, I'm overleveled against him. Also, Arwen's Bite = amazing.
• Tyson evolved into a Typhlosion!
• Beat Eusine. I forgot that he existed. I'm not that used to the Crystal story line.
• Defeated Chuck. I'm so glad Thunderpunch is a TM in this generation.
• Defeated Jasmine. Sweeped the entire gym with Arwen, even though she was underleveled compared to Steelix.

Norman was just straight sparks all the way through.

for Flannery i leveled up Hell Razah to lvl 39 to learn bite, so he could actually do some decent damage to ground types.
Bite flinched her torkoal straight through, easiest gym leader so far

Did stuff up to Silph again. Beat rival this time. His first 4 Pokemon were easy, Alakazam was barely defeated with 5 HP left, Blastoise got killed by a Wrapfest. Whew...
Sabrina was even harder, the Kadabra and Alakazam both outspeeded Dragonair and could do heavy damage to it. On my third attempt, Kadabra disabled Wrap, which got immediately undisabled again so I could use it and wear it down. When Wrap was over, it used something that didn't do too much and died to a Body Slam. Mime and Venomoth were both slower than Dragonair and thus killed by successful Wrapfest. Alakazam got paralyzed by the first Body Slam, used something, Dragonair survived and killed it with the next Body Slam.
Caught me a Pidgey with Master Ball because I need a Fly Slave soon because I am now going back to Vermilion since I skipped Surge to avoid levels, and his Badge is the one needed to Fly.

I found out Nite doesn't get EQ in RBY, so I need to find an alternative set... Currently I tend towards something like Boltbeam, T-Wave, Wrap, but this set might get PP problems, so something like would Boltbeam, Surf, filler (Body Slam, Hyper Beam, or any other suggestions?) be better?

Beat Elite 4. After beating Sabrina, everything was easy and thus went fast. Surge's gym took me some time and I lost to Koga on my first attempt because of -Accuracy, but Dragonair evolved in Cinnabar mansion, Blaine's gym and Giovanni's gym were both OHKO fests, my rival didn't stand a chance near Viridian, the only things in Victory Road that did not get OHKOd were Moltres which barely survived a T-Bolt and some things I wrapped (mostly Psychics). Bought some X and healing items, deposited the slaves and entered Lorelei's room.
Lorelei: I used X-Specials, and with their help Dragonite took almost nothing from Dewgong's Aurora Beams and then T-Bolted here entire team to death with +2 Special.
Bruno, Agatha: Got Swept.
Lance: The only move I had spammed up to now was T-Bolt for some reason I don't even know myself, so I had to kill Gyara with Wrap instead. For the rest, see Bruno&Agatha. Used a Max Ether for T-Bolt after the battle.
Rival: I did not use X-Items here because I think Pidgeot has Sand-Attack, Alakazam is not the kind of thing I use to set up on, and most of the others were easy anyways. Exeguttor survived an Ice Beam and did minor damage, the rest died more or less easily to Wrap and/or Super-effective moves.


Final Dragonite:

No need to post the slaves, Lapras learned Strength and Pidgey's Gust got replaced by Fly, the rest stayed as it was.

On to Crystal, with Horsea as my disobeying starter this time.

Chose Chikorita as my starter because I want my rival to have Quilava at Azalea, otherwise it would be hell. Did early stuff and caught a Sentret. Meanwhile I caught a Horsea on the same file I traded the Dratini from, waited for an egg and hatched it, it would be too easy otherwise. Traded the Horsea for the Sentret. Went to Violet. Beat Falkner, the gym only took me some Berrys and one or two Potions. The Spearow actually trainer caused more problems than Falkner himself, Pidgeotto had a lot less luck after some Smokescreens. Horsea reached level 11 after the battle, so this is where the fun begins.
