The second half of this episode was a lot like Pokemon Emergency, in the pasic plot and the fact that Team Rocket was actually a threat. A very nostalgic episode.

I only watched the Team Rocket segments
Reason? Can't really stand Ash Dawn and Brock (especially Ash's new voice and Dawn in general). But ANYWAYS

I loved how they went back to their roots in this one :D
And the music (remixed original motto theme) when they were driving in the car (which I can remember being in "Do I Hear a Ralts?" and "A Real Cleffa Hanger!") was epic. Not to mention the original Motto (which the new VAs did a suprisingly good job with, especially Michelle Knotz).

Dawn's hating on the old motto brought up somthing: Remember how (at least in the Indigo Leauge) Ash and co. always got bored with TR's motto? I've only seen about 2 or 3 full episodes of DP (mainly because of the poorer writing, Dawn, her Piplup, and Ash's new VA) but I don't remember Ash and co getting bored of the motto. If that's true, it's kinda ironic, that they get bored with the shorter, more epic motto, yet can sit through the approx. 2 minute motto that talks about....voices and space (o.o).

This episode was well appreciated and long overdue.
