I have not stopped yet, I am awaiting the new tools.

Are trainers harder in challenger's edition ?

I don't know if this a bug with the patch or something else, but everytime I try to get on the GTS the game freezes.

I can tell you now, it's something else. I have had the GTS thoroughly tested and it worked fine...

if you encounter the legendaries and you run away will they still be catchable and appear later on???

All the way through the game. It's only a Beta cuz I haven't worked out the events stuff yet.
And by the way, Awesome Job with the walkthrough! Although I do have to tell you, you will be amending it once I write the legendary events...

Yes, early on I kept an evee in my party so I could run away from lugia/ho-oh/celebi/mew... And I've ran from all of them several times and have encountered them again. Although I do need something debugged, if someone wouldn't mind... You see the one night I was hunting Lugia in ravaged path, and accidently killed it, then caught a Ho-oh, so for about 8 gameplay hours I kept trying to find Lugia and never ran into a 2nd one... If anyone can confirm a few things I would appreciate it...
1.)Can you catch Ho-oh AND Lugia?
2.)If you kill either of them can you run into that one again?
3.)Can you catch multiples of any of em?

Anyone who has done any of these in my hack please let us know, cuz I personally was not able to when I had the time to commit to playing...

These two legendaries, just like all the other that I have met in the hack, are like normal wild pokemon. So, you can catch them in any number (they're only more rare). I caught 6 Lugias, 4 Ho-ohs, 3 Celebis, 2 Mews, 2 Mewtwos. I'm still wondering where can I find a Rayquaza, Entei and Raikou (Suicune is already in my pocket). Can someone give me a list of all legendaries?

I'll be waiting for the list. I'm not very fond of catching pokemon in events (I like to search for them in the wild). However, I'm very curious about what you're gonna do in the news updates. You're doing a great job (this is the best pokemon game I have ever played - and I played them all....I'm getting old.....).

Rayquaza = Lost Tower 5f
Raikou = Lake Verity (post-Team Galactic)
Entei = Lake Valor

I figured if you would have caught Suicine at Acuity you might have guessed to try the other lakes (3 lakes, 3 dogs, it was convenient)
Any others you need or anyone else while I have the day off?

Of course I figured it out! But, after my 100th battle, I thought I was wrong (thanks for making a logical choice).
Are the event pokemon avaiable in the wild (Arceus etc.)? I'll try catching Rayquaza now! If you have some time, post where can I finda all legendaries/event pokemon/special- lato sensu.
One more thing: does repel/super/max repels these strong pokemon? It would be good if they do not get repeled....

not the 4 event pokemon from Platinum, they are supposed to work normally but I hit a snag on that...

As for the list... I was feelin kinda lazy on that... I might...

And as the repels... I debated on that concept but it would technically make it too easy to catch em... And besides, most of em are only wild temporarily...

Yes, it would make them very easy to catch.... (you're always one step forward!).
I was wondering: can you make any event you want (even if the're not originally from the game)? Nossa, que isso.....
I'm still looking for Rayquaza (does it requires a certain hour or a period?)...
One more thing: if you took the pokemon location from the 493 hack diamond as a base, tell me (so the list won't be necessary).

The events thing= eventually, yes

The locations, I did not, I used Bloody Diamond as a base...

And no, I have no specifics set for Rayquaza... You are probably just having my kind of luck... (like the night I killed Lugia, caught Ho-oh and couldn't find either of em again for 3.5 hours, then gave up)

I've already caught Rayquaza, Entei and Raikou! No problems with Rayquaza, but the others two insisted in "killing" themselves with Struggle (this move has to be banished) before I coud catch them (but, in another encounter, I caught them).
Lugia thing: this could be a real luck problem, 'cuz I found a lot of them while I was travelig with my father (Barbacena - Belo Horizonte - Barbacena --> 3:20 Hours). The night before, a Lugia appeard, but "Struggled" itself.....
One more thing: I found two Manaphy too... one "struggle" again (Oh my...I have to learn some moves to help me...).

Roland, thanks a lot for making this mod. Its really fun!

One thing though, did you make it so that we earn less money when we battle trainers? I seem to be getting very less money and most of it is being spent on buying Great Balls. It takes SO many balls to catch even a paralyzed or asleep Pokemon.

Rofl! Have fun! And the 2 pokemon you requested:
Entei is at one of the 3 lakes (Lake Valor if you would have actually scrolled up just a little bit)
and Ho-Oh is found at ravaged path (again you would have known this if you would have read the forum...)
