I laughed cuz I was playing Challenger's Edition when I went through it and started to have the same issue (not enough funds) once I finally started buying healing items...
I'd say I did pretty damn good at making it more challenging!

No, Platinum is good. Also there are too many hacks for Fire Red and the others. There's already a hack for Diamond and Pearl.

This mod for Platinum rules!! It's hard work earning and doing stuff here, but its worth it once you level up and get stuff. Also the best thing about this is the automatic trade evolutions. :D

I am not authorizing that. I do not have a problem with a German version but I will not accept sprite modifications. Any sprite modifications must be approved by myself before I will include them in a release. If you would like to do a German version though you are more than welcome to.

My guess is you need to evolve a machoke, I think this was edited so it evolves at a certain lever or with a certain item.

Haunter probly has a rare apprenace rate where ever ghastly is or just evolve ghastly.

Pupitar, I've never seen that wild in any game its always find and evolve Lavitar.

My question is why is the apperance rate for the kanto starters so dang low? I'd rather have the 4th or 3rd gen starters have a low apperance rate since I don't ever use them.

I've seen a Pupitar (level 19) in Wayward Cave. It's the hidden cave under cycling road. There's also some Metang and Vibrava there.

Be careful, though. I've met several level 19 Garchomps there...

To RolandHazoto: Great hack! Although it would be nice if you provided a list of locations of all the Pokemon... :D

Nice hack Roland I'm playing it now and loving it! I do think however as someone else said, you should raise the rate of seeing Kanto starters.

Alright, I've already got a Machamp and basically everything else.

You can get all the starters at level 50 once more at Lake Acuity along with Suicune post team Galactic. Chances are better here of getting the Kanto starters although Charmander is pretty tough to find. Just level them up by two to get them to their final stages. I'm guessing Entei and Raikou are at the other lakes. By the way, the Groudon I caught is amazing! He's already at level 70. :D

I just haven't found Mareep yet.

Way to ruin the mystery SylentEcho! ;-p
And congrats on the Groudon, I haven't found one yet, but I imagine it's not an easy catch...

You encountered them by luck. Just like my Groudon. I haven't yet encountered them. They only appear once in a while, the max repels also don't work in finding them. Also they are at such a high level in the game that it's almost impossible to catch them. Plus it's way tougher now that Great Balls are being used like Poke Balls.

Your best best at catching them is to lower their HP to red and have some kind of status on them like Sleep, Paralysis or Confusion. Poisoning would kill them, Sleep is the best option. Keep using a combination of Great Balls and Ultra Balls, it increases the catch rate.

Sylent I was only teasing!
Now as for the Legendaries thing; I dunno what pokemon games you guys played but back when I played Red and Blue (before Yellow even existed) that was how Legendaries were caught! You get them to red and preferably put them to sleep!
If you guys want it any easier you are out of luck! Legendaries are meant to be earned, not handed out!

True. It will be very challenging finding all of them this way instead of just going upto them in some cave and battling.

No, no, no...
First off, Valor Lakefront, and Lake Valor are 2 different locations. Secondly, Raikou is at Lake Verity post-Team Galactic.

Anytime! And that reminds me, I guess i should post my updated info on here... ( I am primarily using projectpokemon forums cuz I am the mod there...)
quoted from my thread there:
I've been committing a large portion of my free time to trying to debug the PPRE script editor so I can get my new scripts completed. Unfortunately, the way progress is going I will not have my final release ready by this Friday (my b-day) but I have no intentions of giving up on the project!
That being said, progress is continuing, just very slowly...

Also, I now have more insight into the script failure from 3 months ago... For some reason the scipt for the harbor inn door actually got moved to the sailor... I only partially know why, but for the time being it's of little significance...
To see what I'm talking about look here:

Isn't this on the way to Iron Island? I didn't face this problem.

No one faced this problem, this was me testing my Darkrai edits for the next release...
No one ever received this release so no one will have this problem ever...

I figured I'd throw it up here to show you's some of the work issues I've had and that the project is progressing, just, as mentioned above, very slowly...
