Well in all fairness, CBM hasn't replied since you posted it and it was addressed to him. Also people were somewhat sidetracked by Porygon for whatever reason. I don't know off top of my head but if CBM doesn't answer you I can check for you.

I've gotten some info from people trying to trade second gen games with Pokemon Brown. Mostly, you can trade Pokemon Brown Pokemon TO Second gen games, but you can't trade from Second gen to Pokemon Brown.

This isn't an issue anymore. You are now able to trade Pokemon from Second Gen Games! The NPC will let you know which ones you can trade over and which ones you can't. She will also give you a warning if you're trading a G/S/C Pokemon, telling you that it can screw up your game if you're not trading from Brown.

Just wanted to post here about my current thoughts about Brown. I'm doing a playthorugh right now, and I just got the Virus Scan and killed the Missingno Kanghaskan. I've beaten the original Brown, and I must say, the new Pokemon and updated text and maps look much better than what the original was. I do have a question though. In the older thread, I believe I remember you saying that this project was not over, as you had not added all of the sidequests in. So, is that true?

I have managed to get VBA LINK to WORK trading from Crystal to Brown. It's a little glitchy but it didn't ruin my game, so there you have it! VBA link DOES work!

Kudos to you KBM This is one amazing hack that will be worshipped for ever!

you get them in the game corner as a price pokemon, i think it is where is the 2nd gym.

Where are they? (I already have mewtwo, zapdos)
If the dubious disk is in, where is it? I wanna evolve porygon2
What is the gold leaf for?
Do the pearl, big mushroom, rare bone, etc. do anything besides sell for money?
Where is the super rod?
Are the kanto starters catchable outside of the "1st pokemon" event?
Where is the ss. ticket?

Find an Eevee and level it up instead of using a stone. Where you find the Eevee will determine what it evolves into.

Well I didn't really do anything. Vba Link works fine with GBC anyway so gold/crystal/silver are fine but with Brown I saved INSIDE the pokemon center (preferable straight in front of the trading desk) on one emulator, then opened it up in VBA Link.

At the beginning it's REALLY slow, and doesn't respond but just keep it open and it will eventually then once your actually in the trading room it goes back to normal speed and it fine.

If you really want me to I could write a tutorial for every one.
