I cannot defeat brock. In the anime, pikachu wasn't given a light ball, it learned thunderbolt. Perhaps you could replace the light ball with tm24?

true, but in the anime pikachu's electric power was increased by the power plant and the only way to do this is with a light ball. and pikachu knew thunderbolt before that already, when it saved ash from spearow

I have only played this to the area when you release butterfree so im not one to say that its bad. but that doesnt matter because i LOVE this hack its not terrabull but it has a few bad parts. but in genral its a good hack make more updates and keep it up dued. love game.

1. Is there any way getting Butterfree back or I should just avoid giving it away in the mating event thing?
2. In SS Anne, there's a guy asking you to trade your Butterfree for a Raticate. Since Ash refused iirc, why not make the player refuse automatically here too?
3. You should set Bulbasaur and Squirtle's level requirement for Ivysaur/Wartortle to something like lv55-60, so they WILL evolve by themselves after the league but (most likely) not before it. Also, you should set Charmander to Charemeleon's requirement to level 3x or so, then Charizard's requirement to something like 3-4 levels after that. It just feels wrong to repetitively press B after every level for 3 Pokemons, or cheat for everstones, to get the appropriate result in comparison to the anime.

Oh, I have an even better idea for Squirtle and Bulbasaur: make a "What-if" story for the Orange Islands, once the player finishes the Orange league (the one where Charizard beat Dragonite, if you're going to do that). So once a player finishes the game, he'll find 2 special gems or something, that either evolve them or just allow Bulba/Squirtle to evolve.

I have an idea that I think would be cool for this hack. Since you're following the anime, perhaps you could edit the cries so that the Pokemon actually say their names like they do in the anime, or make whatever sound they make. Just a suggestion.

just finished the 2.5 beta ! ive been playing it along side the actual english dub pokemon series ( japanese audio just doesnt feel right ) play the game non-stop till i finished it . aside from some few glitches the game is totally awesome. when the next beta comes out do i have to start ffrom the very beginning ? or can i just update the rom and continue on ?

i really like what the metapod23 has done with the story line . very precise . nearly word for word. i ntoice even the half broken pokeball in the item bag is an awesome touch.
its really awesome to metapod23 and the other people who made ashgray possible .

He made the trade, and then a bit later traded it back. It works this way in the game too.

Uh... play it? Just open the patched ROM with VBA (or your preferred emulator) and enjoy!
