This forum is so current with the animé. Fo' sho'. 13 hours up-to-date that is.

Okay, I guess I'll be the only person to review this episode.

It was a pretty good episode to watch. It was cool to have Dawn use Brock's advice from her last episode of Pokémon injury. Maybe Ash will one day get to take care of another Pokémon like Dawn did. Aagron was a cool Pokémon to use as the conflict in this episode.

It just needs to be bumped up the page ^^ I forgot about this episode because I didn't see it in straight away. Anyway, I didn't like this episode, it was just boring :/

- "For sure" is such a funny phrase
- I wasn't looking when Dawn fell...I hope there's a full version of this song in the 12th movie
- Music seems louder this episode...
- Is this episode going to be all about running away from Aggron...?
- Flashback ~ It's nice they have a memory sometimes and can learn from past events. I mean, from stuff other than battles
- How can Brock know the Pokeball knows to Dawn? :/
- K, I started skipping parts of the episode because I got bored
- I thought it was funny when James sort of shrieked while he was blasting off XD when he said "following"

Music kept: (5)

Team Rocket's Sneaking Theme
Sinnoh Team Rocket Motto Theme
Kimi no Soba de Instrumental version
Kimi no Soba de (Battle version) Well, that's what I call it
One of the Kanto ending themes ~

This episode reminded me a lot of the orange islands episode where Ash was taking care of Charizard and then it finally started to listem to him.

Dawn has officially stepped over the line of "You're saying 'no need to worry' too much" with this episode. She said it like, twice in one line (perhaps even one sentence, I forget).

NO NEED TO F#$%ING WORRY, RIGHT?!

Stupid dub. I liked the Japanese version of this episode much better...

It's a reference to the original '60s episode of Star Trek TOS, Trials and Tribble-ations. (It's also possible it's a direct reference to the Bible quote, but considering the popularity of Star Trek that's the first thing that came to mind)

Kinda. It appears to be a pure poke at the idiom, "trials and tribulations." Which is a fun phrase, and one of my favorites. Still, propers for acknowleding the TOS episode. Heh.

I still don't fully understand what that means, but thank you!

And yeah, they're catchy-ish.

I only watched a few minutes of this episode, but I did watch nearly half of the next one about Gligars and Gliscors. This anime is probably the worst animated show on American television. It's horrible.

Everyone should slow down to allow Redstar to catch up.

How old are you again? Oh, over 10. Don't watch if you don't like.

Was it seriously not obvious enough for you?

Well, you're surely over 10 if you could label a show the worst piece of animation currently airing in America. You have to watch many of those cartoons on many channels to judge something as such. I'm getting ahead of myself though. How old are you again? 9?

It wasn't. No one was involved in this conversation but you and me, so I can't imagine why anyone else would need to "slow down". I don't even know what you mean by that.

I'm 19. And I can choose not to watch the show, yes, but many kids are watching it and they're being infected by bad writing and characterization. I would certainly not want my kids to be exposed to something with such blatantly bad messages.

No, it was. You haven't been in the animé's fandom long enough to get it though.

Because friendship messages are bad? Because all children's shows are like this?

Edit: I noticed the person who would try to attempt to be funny has appeared.

Been here since before the games and anime were even released in America.

Well this purple-haired kid showed up, was a dick for no reason, then left and Ash just took it. I don't like one-dimensional characters that are mean for no reason... I got enough of that with Gary.

And what?

I like how you came in here trying to be funny and then make a fool of yourself.

And the reason Paul acts like that is revealed in a future episode that already aired in Japan?

Okay, what? How was he trying to be funny? Guy was just sticking up for me. No jokes.

I really don't want to get into this with you. You seemed cool enough elsewhere.

Yes, I did, and I am a fan of the anime.

I don't see how I'm making a fool of myself when you're reacting harshly because he doesn't like the Pokemon anime.

Oh, and then you proceed to call him immature.

I don't get your point. You said anime fandom, and I've been a member of the anime fandom since day one... How do I not fit?

I don't care if it's revealed later or not. It's just hilarious how needless his dickery is... It offers nothing to the story of the day other than "I'm a dick and I'm Ash's rival." It only further astounds me that Ash takes it, and doesn't even ask for an apology. He just asked this "Paul" if he was trying to catch the Pokemon, and "Paul" acts like the biggest douchebag ever. No, that is in no way realistic.
