This is one of the main reasons why Stealth Rock should be used. :< Focus Sash does not rely on luck (it only works when the holder is at full health before the opponent attacks), so it is not an hax item. Hax = luck based, therefore Focus Sash =/= Hax.

There appears to be a problem in arranging my battle with pinkpanther8u. They are unable to battle me in the allotted time because their DS is in the vehicle of a parent, while that parent is on vacation.
