Here is where you can discuss Evolution angst for Dawn's Piplup in "Stopped in the Name of Love."

My review to come forthwith.

(I have a rental computer for a few weeks, so I figured to do the discussion, while I can. I'll be around quite a bit, now.

Huzzah, a non-ugly thread title. Why must Piplup have a B button? D:

- It's like Barry ran into Ash in purpose XDDD
- I just realised...Barry was in episode in Japanese this week, and Barry is in an episode in the dub this week. Coincidence loves me ~
- Ah, so Barry and Kenny aren't best friends, they just met...good.

- Piplup, stop taking screentime so we can see more of Barry.

Ash should tell dawn about his Bulbasaur refusing to evolve.
Perhaps Ash could find an Everstone for Pikachu.

All in all, I liked it.

I haven't had chance to watch the episode yet, but I love the episode title.

I liked Barry's line when Team Rocket came in, "You're Team Missile right?".

If "The Supremes" weren't so old they'd probably take this to court.

I'm excited to see this Ping-Pong tournament, since Pokemon normally evolve in tournaments in the D/P episodes.

Anyway, I thought the same semi-parallels with Bulbasaur's Mysterious Garden, as DoubleWide observes. Gives DoubleWide a cookie.

It was a nice episode. I like the new title screen. I don't think I mentioned that last week. I'm glad Piplup didn't evolve. Seeing Dawn carry a Prinplup on her head would be pretty weird. Team Rocket's Piprinpoleon (?) machine was so stupid looking I couldn't help but laugh...

There's also the piece that plays when Piplup runs out the window from Dawn in the room. I think it's from the 4th Movie.

Also, the piano music is from the third Pikachu movie short (the one with the Pichu Brothers in the city)

As long as Pikachu stays away a Thunder Stone he won't need one. He's carried a Thunder Stone for 500 episodes without a hitch anyway.

I hate that episode. The dumbest event the writers did this saga.

Kenny's voice was weird in this episode. Well, it sounded too similar to Zoey's voice. Ms. Krempa why do you sound like Ms. Williams in this episode? Whatever. At least they gave us an explanation for why Piplup, at this point, will not evolve. They got that out of the way at least. It was a creative way to stop evolution using Bide which I haven't seen in a while. Good episode which isn't a filler.
