Pokemon Emerald Hack: Pokemon Onyx Black: Corruption of Time

Hello, I am a new hacker and my upcoming hack is:
Pokemon Onyx Black: Corruption of Time. Please feel free to criticize/hate/love my work, and to give advice where needed.

Story:
It has been 18 years since the epic battle between Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza happened. Since then...Things have been going very strange lately..
There is a rise in the population of ghost and dark Pokemon, some even from different regions have arrived here in Hoenn.
You, Ziek/Ashley, the son/daughter of the previous hero/heroine, have come of age to recieve your first pokemon. However...the world is a much darker place..
Extreme weather conditions, the arrival of the dark Pokemon, among other things have foreshadowed a chaotic world that Team Grim is planning to unleash. Their Plot is to capture the three Regis. By combining the power of the Three Regis, they will open a rift in time and space back when the Epitome of Darkness was born, Darkrai..

-Same basic towns, renamed and re-mapped
-New hideout, New secret bases.
-New Rivals and enemies
-Insane weather conditions

-If something looks solid, it might or might not be...
-Ability to buy master balls, and the Eon ticket, for a price
-Groudon story remains
-Starters are all the dark type, and thier stats enhanced.
-Gym Leaders will be slightly different but the gym type will remain mostly unchanged. E.G first gym will be rock.

I think that if you put some work into this it could be good.

personally, I think the story could be expanded just a tad. Like, why is Team Grim trying to bring forth Darkrai? What kind of back story on Team Grim? You know, stuff like that.

Oops...yeah...my bad..about Mewthree. I'll rename it and give it an interesting different look. WEll, I had a three paragraph story written but it logged me out before i could post the original thread. The reason TEam Grim wants Darkrai is to raise it from when it was born to be truly evil and heed their word. They want to use him to hypnotize the people and pokemon in their sleep. When they awaken, they will be slaves of Team Grim and be forced to do all sorts of unpleasant things to help Team Grim's goal of taking over the planet.

I realized..I have tried to script events and people placement in the game, like, in Petalburg Forest or whatever, when team magma/aqua first appears, after you battle them and the guy runs to rustbury (instead of Rustboro, hack has death and murder puns), I want a team Grim member to appear and say, "What an unimpressive battle. It's no wonder you defeated that weakling, but there's no way Team Grim will lose to you..."

Team Grim will have pokemon that strike fear in the hearts of us gamers: Sleep inducing moves, poison, basically pokemon that render yours useless. As to what Pokemon they will be, I am open to suggestions and ideas.

i am already making a game but if you want i would gladly help map and do basic scripting (btw if you barley know how to script or even map how come you want to make a game lol no ofense i think its a great story i had an idea to make one i dark times but i changed my mind good luck with ur game ^-^)

Because I can figure it out once I get started, thanks. I'm making a hack rom because Pokemon and video games and creativity are my passion, as well as chaos and anything out of the ordinary. I would appreciate some scripting help, and the only maps i really need help with is placement of new hideouts and puzzle ideas.

If I can figure out how to write a script for a new person event in the next day or so, I'll cross out scripting help. I DO NOT expect my work to be 99% other people 1% me. I want it to be my work, I want it to be precious to me. But since I'm getting ready for college on top of this, it's hard to squeeze in OW sprite editing time, considering there's about a million frames X_x

I have a problem.
I can't edit the trainers with PET, it says Runtime error: overflow.
Second, I can't upload the ROM to the forums, the file is too big. I need someone to go in and see what the issue is, and test what I have so far.

Good news: I learned how to script (somewhat).

Alright, I'm officially throwing away my work so far and restarting. I screwed it up bad... So far I only had sprites maps music and pokemon and routes up to Deadford Town. (Dewford) So I don't really mind, I guess.

Emerald just...refuses to be hacked. I'm downgrading to Ruby, we'll just pretend.

If you're hacking Ruby just edit the unused trainers like the many aqua grunts.

Kay, thanks for the support. Banners are welcome but yes, I need mappers for new secret bases and hideouts and such..plus..I REALLY messed up the paths in a few areas. Like BAD. So tell me how I send you the ROM and you can fix it, I've been so busy lately preparing for graduation and doing papers and I'm a music artist on top of that, so hacking is not exactly number one on my priorities. I'm going to estimate that an alpha will be released around thanksgiving, but I need scripting and a way to put Darkrai in the game with the correct cry, sprite, and OW sprite.

I learned how to type script but when I put it in advance map and test it, it doesnt work.

So I need to recruit some scripters. I can do mapping, OW sprites, and scripting that already exists in the game.
