Pokémon Galactic Platinum [DEMO RELEASED]
Pokemon Galactic Platinum Hack Leader: Codec Hack Base: FireRed Pokemon Galactic Platinum (c) Codec 2009 Welcome to Galactic Platinum, Take the Role of a galactic grunt and complete missions and tasks to rise to the rank of commander. A Hundred years after the original 'NEW WORLD' Operation, run by the Teams original founder, Cyrus, the world has changed alot. You were once an innocent villager but after being offered a scholarship at the Galactic Academy from Cyrus' grandson, the infamous Cypher, you realise that Team Galactic is your true calling. After accepting you are lead across your home island of Mythguard, and taken to the Academy. Rise the ranks to a commander and find out the most important Galactic plans ever to be though up! In other words: -Play as a Galactic Grunt -Experience sections of Sinnoh like never before -Fight the grandson of Lucas, Marcus, as a rival who is a thread to your team. -Get rid of the Gym System - and say hello to Galactic Ranks. -Go to the Academy and graduate before sinnoh. -Start with a Croagunk -Amasing mini-games and challenging missions will keep you on your toes Spoiler:

very cool id like to be a grunt for Galactic, Also ive got an idea for starters.
Stunky Glameow Zubat i know the triangle wont work but does it need to??? i thought of these because these are the pokemon most of the grunts have

Pokemon When it first began It starts off with you on your local school bus its the same old story or so you thought... you then look out the window on the top deck and see a tear in the sky at first you think its just blue sky that is visable threw the clouds... as you look closer a small glimmer shoots out of the tear and flies threw a window on the bus as quick as a flash... it was a pokemon it was badly hurt no one new what it was and was scared of it because its not the nice fuzzy cutsy ones on the old console games oh no... you pick it up and hold it in your arms while everyone is looking out the window to see if theres anymore... then as you look out the window millions of glimmers shoot out a spreads across the hole area everyone is screaming... birds shoot threw the window and shred up chairs and breaks the roof off... not only this but huge adult birds start picking up all your old friends and shooting off with them... suddenly the bus gets pushed over by walking pokemon... it goes dark for a second.... Like the idea PM/VM me if your intrested or wanna help with this, the thread will be up soon hopefully |

o i thought you meant the starter was unknown as in you dont know
 maybe you could have stunky for boy, and glameow for a girl or vice versa??

You need to credit MasterOfPuppets for the rombase. :/
You also need to improve the maps, because i don't think people would want to play a hack with poor maps. |

Well this bad guys were missing in the hacks where ya play as bad guy xD
So idea is good Cod... as usual your tiles are nice so I won't mention it xD but why didn't ya first finish EC? Good luck with it

This hack looks realy cool! Its got cool storyline aswell! But dont you think 100 years is a bit too much? Maybe like... 15, 25 or 50 years... i would go for 15 (plus it dont make sence that cyruses grandson would still be alive after 100 years...)
I would love to help out with this game aswell? If you have any slots open? I could be a mapper and userbar maker Oh and maybe i could make you a trainer sprite (so it doesnt look like a normal grunt, i think the hero should stand out a bit...)

I'd vote for 15 years since it might be the time after which the all bad things will be forgotten.

Its ok - but I think I will get a trainer sprite that can be used in the intro first.

If I am not mistaken, is this a hack of Fire Red? Or, maybe not since you didn't include what game you hacked, or maybe its not a Pokemon hack? lol
Well, playing as a bad guy is one of my dream in Pokemon. I hope you can finish this, G'luck!

OK..i think i forgot to post my opinion on this hack..xD..the overall idea is good and really have potentiol...for the maps,like Ray said,it kinda look not too good..maybe improve on them.I know you said you have read tuts on mapping.Maybe you can like make random maps and post them at MRT for comments and and ways to improve..
Imo,the 100 years is kinda too long.I know it make sense that cyrus grandson is till alive,but it is like too long.But maybe the hack will be good so i am looking for more updates..good luck
