Story
Fifty years ago a group of elite trainers founded a country on a newly found contient. This country grew and grew until it became the bigest of them all. However soon a war broke out between them and other countries. Peace was made however the rivalry never ceased. Today you live in that country know as Containa. You have recently turned 10 and await your Pokemon. However, due to recent evil activities your Dad won't let you get one. So without Pokemon you begin to travel. Until one day you are approached by a mysterious man...

So what is the goal of the protagonist? What are the starters? What do you mean by "a more 'modern' game?" You need to be more specific to better explain things. Still, I like your idea.

Well like i said i don't think I would do this
But I thought someone else could use inspiration

Wrong, scrapbox is being closed due to spam. Scrapbox is for ideas like this one.

Your idea is very good, but you need to work on it a little more. I enjoyed reading the story, but it's not enough. What's with this 'mysterious man'? Can you elaborate a little more on the features?
