Opening / Story
28yrs after the events of r/s/e, Ryan / Danielle (Maxie’s son / daughter)
Is visited by their mom (unknown) after their dad passed away.

Their mom believed Maxie’s choice to not expand Hoen was a mistake, so she sends you
To finish your dad’s past. Team Aqua has settled in Mossdeep’s underground, awaiting “your rival’s” orders.

You play as Maxie’s 12 year old son or daughter, and try to reawaken Groudon,
Well your rival also tries to obtain Groudon’s Powers to make a new land
