I've been having trouble with the Google system lately. Like I've tried to search under a certain term and it keeps on changing my search to something else that I didn't type. And then afterwards it won't let me type anything else in the search bar, it just makes me search under the name that popped up, and won't let me search under what I was trying to search for. So, Google is not my friend. Everyone on here that says that is wrong. Google is my enemy not my friend. I'm using Yahoo Search from now on, it makes a better friend.

I know, right? My friendship with Internet search engines is so one-sided. Has anybody else felt that? In my hour of crisis, they aren't there for me...

okay when people say google is your friend. What they are really saying is don't be lazy, and look something up your self.

Google does indeed have an option to turn on SafeSearch, if you'll just look for it. >_>

That usually blocks out the porn. I've never had porn problems in any google search results.

Google is the best search engine out there. Say anything otherwise and you're lying.

Could be a browser problem. You could try reinstalling your browser and see if that fixes it, or try another browser such as Opera, Firefox, or Chrome. Also you could try to get in contact with Google and tell them about your problem

Scroogle: the last search engine you'll ever need. It's Google minus all the crap.

What do you mean by the "Terrorist Problem"? And the porn problem: yes. I have issues. Especially when you're 14 and your parents are sitting right behind you whenever you use the family computer and they see almost everything you do. Whenever it happens, I'm always diving for the "X" button. As for google, nope. No issues. It's quite nice to me. You just need to know what you're looking for and the relavence other search results you may get.

You sure you don't have a virus if your search queries are being changed?

I meant for text searching. I still use all of Google's other services, but for text searches, I always use Scroogle.

What a surprise. So many people have problems with pornography appearing in Google.

Are you sure that safe search is turned on in Google when you're using it?
It never happened to me.

Anyways, Google is second to no other browser out there. I have yet to see a search engine that outperforms Google.

I always use google and never had any problems. It produces more promising results compared to other search engines I've used in the past. O_o
Pop ups and porn don't really pop up unless I enter a site with many pop-up ads, but that's rare from google in my case.
