Hey everyone!

It's time to discuss the episode "The Treasure is All Mine!" This is the episode where Ash and gang stumble across a treasure chest.

Side note: In order to fully understand what's going on in this episode, it's highly recommended that you watch "Holy Matrimony!" from the first Pokemon series.

My review to come soon...

I'm happy that they kept Jessiebelle's Southern accent. Makes her sound like a cool ***** like in the original. I love the blast off scene too since Jessiebelle got blasted off along with James and Meowth while Jessie ends up surrounded by men on a couch. Quite nice.

I was rather impressed with this episode! They kept everything about James' past: Growlie, his parents, Jessiebelle, her Vileplume. Everything was spot on, including the Southern accents. What really sealed it was when Jessiebelle said "You can't run properly!", especially since that was her last line in the "Holy Matrimony!" episode. It was funny how Ash and Brock knew exactly what happened earlier but Dawn having no idea.

James should be commended for his quick thinking when he took care of Sebastian and his Spinarak by using Mime Jr.'s Teeter Dance.

I couldn't believe that Jessiebelle was that selfish! She wanted James to get rid of his Growlithe for her Skitty.

That was funny and weird how Jessiebelle was airlifted to the summer estate on her couch.

It must be a new record, 3 blast offs in one episode! It's too bad that Jessie ended up on Jessiebelle's couch and that Jessiebelle blasted of with James and Meowth.

I loved this episode.
I liked how Ash and Brock remembered this and to explaine this to Dawn.
I give it a 5/5.
One of my favorites now.

I LOVE this episode. Holy Matrimony is by far one of my favourite Pokemon episodes EVER, and this one was awesome too. They kept everything the way it was supposed to be, right down to the Southern accents. It was nice to finally see how James got engaged to Jessiebelle, after years of thinking he was forced into it, turns out he actually did like her once. And I thought it was epic when Jessiebelle yelled "You're not runnin' properly!" while running after James, just like she did at the end of Holy Matrimony.

Loooved it.

Wow, this episode was crazy!

My favorite line:
James: "I just remembered that the password is 'Open Password'!"
Meowth: "How do you function without a brain?!"
LOL

That's what sealed it for me! Awesome continuity, down to the detail and Southern accents! Plus, I still can't get over what Jessiebelle wanted; to get rid of James' Growlie for her Skitty.

Probably the best part to this episode is that they kept everything continuous from when they first introduced Jessiebelle and Jame's childhood growing up. They kept her Southern accent and they gave an opportunity for Ash and Brock to remember the last time they learned about Jame's family background. I just wished to have seen a more stunning reaction from Dawn.

Regardless though, the episode did well. They even took effort to explain more of the background history between Jame's and Jessiebelle. It was good to see ol'e Growly back too. I love Jame's Growlithe, I just wish he would carry it along with him. :\

Lol, I laughed at that scene. It was one of the hilarious moments in this episode. What made a great wrapping to the show though was when Jessiebelle was chasing James and Meowth - they looked like little kids.

- WOW, Ash remmbered something like the nickname of James's Pokemon from 10 years ago? XD
- ...But Meowth and Jessie forget Jessiebelle?? o.o
- Heh, PUSA kept the weird accent of Jessiebelle's
- "It just so happens Growly is staying..."
- ""But this is a tragic tale of whoa is me...as you will seee" XD
- James has a man's voice when he's a boy XD
- Seems a random reason to get rid of Growly...o.O
- LOL flying in a sofa?? XD
- An escape route...for moments when Jessiebelle follows by helicopte ro.O
- Why didn't he keep Growly...o.O
- Wow, that ending was rushed..

Music kept: (9)

RBY Opening theme
Sinnoh Team Rocket theme
James tries to open the chest
Growly appears (I think)
Sebastian sends of Spinerak

Yeah, I laughed pretty hard when I heard her say that at the end. It was an awesome episode.

Dogasu episode comparison time with quite a few dialogue edits.

I have to include this observation:

Quote:
Do [the dubbers] think the new lines are funny? Do little American kids (and not, say, jaded twenty-somethings) laugh at this stuff? Or do they roll their eyes and headdesk with the rest of us?

I used to think that the people who would go on message boards and talk about how annoying Team Rocket is were crazy. But really, what they're tired of is Team Rocket, not the Rocket-Dan. The Rocket-Dan is funny and endearing, while Team Rocket is a glaring example of what happens when adults try to be hip. I can see why so many fans preferred the way 4Kids handled the trio; they had their problems, sure, but at least I could sit through a Rocket-centered comedy episode and come out of it not wanting to shoot a kitten.
I don't disagree, as the 4Kids version has never made me want to shoot kittens. Heh. The PUSA version, well....

I laughed my butt off after I found out this was a James episode. Ahh Jessebell, haha good times. This episode was really amusing, she still has that icky Vileplume, and James still has his cute little Growlie. Times havent changed that much it seems.

I didn't get how Jessilena was flown over one or two regions on a SOFA! Also, why doesn't James keep Growlie with him?

I like it when they bring back old characters. Jessiebelle provided adequate entertainment. All-in-all, good episode.
