Pok�mon Special- Summaries

[Omega-Brendan]

Here is an (in)completed list of the summaries in Pok�mon Special.

In Japan the 'episodes' are listed as rounds, and versus one Pokemon, it isn't always a match with a Pokemon, but it shows the star Pokemon. so if the round has to do with a Mewtwo it will be Round (number) Vs. Mewtwo. On with the summaries.

Round 1 Vs. Mew
Characters Introduced- Red, Green, Oak(mentioned), Team Rocket(not really known)
Pok�mon Introduced- Nidorino, Poliwhirl, Charmander, Mew
Setting- Pallet Town
Summary- Red sets off on his Pok�mon Journey before this airs, he is shown telling people how to catch a Pok�mon. The kids that were trying to catch a Nidorino tells Red of Oak, and Red underestimates him. Ash wanders off into a little wood in search of Pok�mon and spots Green who is fighting Mew with his Charmander. Re hides behind to trees watching the battle, then Green Retreats! Red complains on how Green was close to catching Mew and shows him how to do it, then Poliwhirl is knocked out immediately by Mew! Red us shocked and Green explains all this gibberish to Red. Then a group of Rocket Grunts rush over to Red and roars at him because of Mew. Then Red decides that he should go to Oak's Lab, as he thought he was the best trainer there is. Then this round ends with Red pressing the Doorbell.

I wish I could help but I don't have vol. 1-7. I used to have 6 and 7, but somehow I don't now. I have only 8 and 9 at the moment, and 8 is with a friend.

Hey seems like there's one new pokemon manga book series coming out. Judging from the art I don't think I will like it any better than special.

I've seen it, ish amazing, it keeps the old covers without editting them to make them look ugly. It threw in the red logo, they made purses with the red logo ya know...

Ash and Pikachu, I'm storming out to see if they hv an translation of that in HK.

Btw, I'm going to japan BUT my mum will probably stop me from buying special.... gr!

Well, I'm not actually sure... But I dun think they're actually allowed... the original is dubbe my Viz so I guess this one is real

ooo, i have the pokemon special 5-15(jap)...16 is already out, but no sign of it in da bookstore. i want to scan it and make summaries, but its kinda hard to scan the japanese manga since its hard to bend back the pgs without damaging the comic.

wow, those books look...funny (on that webpage) but i gues tha graphics on the covers are cool. exactly like da japanese ones i tihnk. o-o; might be a LITTLE different.

That's great! but hmmm... Use a digital Camera and set it to text mode and you should be able to get the scans well.

It's translated. Just that it used to be translated together with some help of Viz. Now that they've stopped I think the local publisher has to do it all by themselves. Heard they were short of staff at around that time.

Now that I've added the summaries/essays to the website just click the website link in my signature to check it out!!!
I've done another round and am about to type it right away. I'm free for the rest of the day and if time permits I'll start on the character bios.

btw Chapter 98 on my website is translated. Although I'm bad at it.

I can do that, I'm ok with translating chinese(traditional), so provide me some scans and i''l be more accurate.

The only thing that I'm not sure about the translation is the attacks actually. Sadly, I won't be getting anymore Happy X2 Magazines since the store I got it from near the library has closed two months ago So it will only be two episodes that I'll translate.

Maybe, since there was this weird (skinny) dragon next to the title. I spotted some Japanese words there which sounded like "Coro Coro" *fishes out kanji list"

I think so as in the Kanji word. And a word that looks like "mouth" in chinese ("kou")
