Pokémon G/S/C Gym Leader Challenge

Welcome to the Gym Leader Challenge, In order to complete this challenge, you need to choose from one of the gym leaders (listed below) and complete either Pokemon Gold Silver OR Crystal using only the Pokemon of your chosen gym leader, your challenge ends once you defeat Red, good luck!

Obey the rules:

Rules

You may only use Pokemon used by your chosen gym leader.
This is not a race so take your time!
The first Pokemon of your type must be caught before defeating Whitney.
No glitches are allowed.
No legendary Pokemon!
No trading unless it is to evolve a Pokemon or to get otherwise unobtainable Pokemon (i.e. the Kanto starters, fossil Pokemon, and version exclusives).
HM slaves are allowed (2 maximum), but you CANNOT use them in battles!
No cheating or hacking (Gameshark, action replay ect.)
You may choose a gym leader even if someone else has started a challenge with him\her. i.e if someone chooses Chuck, that DOES NOT mean you can't choose him.
Emulators ARE allowed and the speed up (Space bar) function IS allowed for training.
Please update your progress regularly, atleast every 1 or 2 Gyms, thanks!
Your challenge ends after defeating Red.
Please specify which version (Gold, Silver, or Crystal) you are using for your challenge.

I'm actually blown away by the detail you put in here, Suicune™. By the way, Sydian, I think he's going with Bugsy, if that little ™ next to his name is any indication lol.

By the way, is there any particular reason why this is restricted to G/S/C? and where the heck are some of these pokemon coming from? Brock has a Pinsir (weak to Rock o.O)?

Yeah, well there is only a certain amount of types that I can put in, and I wanted all the leaders to have an even amount so I evened it out by inserting a few irelevant Pokémon under some leaders otherwise it would be just too similar to a Monotype challenge, and I just thought having ALL Gym Leaders would be too much but if someone wants to make a list for all the gym leaders then they are more than welcome to.

Well, I started. And realized since I might be finishing in the next hour or so, I might want to catch some non water Pokemon so it doesn't look like I copy pasted a water monotype picture. So I'm going to get a Dratini and Diglett or something like that.

i started a new game and name myself Brock, and name my rival Kiiroi (What i usually name myself)
Chose totodile, for a future surf slave.
Caught a geodude and named him balboa. Deposited totodile and trained Balboa.
Caught a bellsprout and traded it for Rocky the geodude and trained him up.
Defeated Falkner, never found mudslap more annoying in my life.

The real time clock in Virtualboy Advance works with Gen 2 roms right also shouldn't Jasmine have Mareep->Ampharos on her list of eligible pokemon because of Amphy?

Got started on my Sabrina challenge, here's an update:
-Started the game and named myself Sabrina
-Got Cyndaquil as a starter (he's one of Sabrina's eligible Pokemon so he'll be on my team)
-Played all the way up to Falkner and defeated him with Quilava

My First Update (I'm going through this story style :D)

My Name is Pryce Jr. son of the Gym leader Pryce but everyone calls me Junior I used to live with him in Mahogany Town but he sent me and mom to New Bark Town when some shady guys moved into town an set up a Souviner Shop. I tried to get him to let me stay and help him protect the town but he said it was too dangerous and I was an inexpierenced trainer, so for the last month me and my mom have lived here. I met one of my fathers old freinds named Prof.Elm and he said he'd give me a pokemon if I worked as his assistant. It was boring until he asked me to go pick-up some egg from a guy named Mr.Pokemon and that I'd get my pokemon to do so. I jumped at the oppurtunity and picked up Totodile the closest pokemon to an ice type there and headed off.I picked up the egg just fine and a freind of Prof. Elms gave me a pokedex,but when I took a step outside Mr.Pokemons house Elm calls he tells me a pokemon from his lab was stolen a rush back home but I'm stopped by a street punk who called himself Kamon a beat him with Teto(the totodile) with ease and headed back home to Elm's lab the police man there described the theif I realised it was the punk from before I told him his name Prof. Elm went pale and after the Officer left Prof. Elm told Kamon was the name of Giovanni's son a former freind of my fathers and Gym Leader who went bad and formed an Evil team called Team Rocket he asked me to find him and try to get the pokemon he stole.He also told me something intresting if I took the gym leader challenge I'd get home and probably be able to prove to my father that I was ready to face the enemy's of our town. After that we got back to the buisness at hand I showed him the egg and he looked at it like it was a giant diamond, he thanked me and sent me on my way I went home and told mom what I was going to do she told me she new I'd leave home someday warned me to be careful and asked I rest till morning so I did the next morning I headed off to Route 46 and caught a sturdy pokemon called Phanpy I named him Bull (Bull Elephant) I went to Cherrygrove and put Teto in storage so he wouldn't be at risk and head through route 30 having a few battles along the way on. On Route 31 a Dark Cave caught my attention inside I met the second addition to my team Ursula the Teddiursa. I continue Violet City and trained at the Sprout Tower where I met Kamon again but he escaped before I could stop him I faced the elder and at his defeat he told me he could see I treated my pokemon right he gave me Flash and descened the tower. I went to the Gym and met Falkner he told me he was suprised to see me so far from Mahogany town I explained what was happening and why I was there and he understood he too had gained his fathers respect as a trainer by beating the Gym leader challenge. I defeated him and he gave the Zephyr Badge and wished me good luck. When I went outside Elm called me telling me he wanted me to take care of the egg I brought him I went to the pokemon center. One of his Aides there gave me the egg and went off. I decided to rest and let my pokemon heal (GAME SAVED)

Quick update:
Caught both a Gastly and Sentret and did a bit of grinding. Sentret evolved into Furret. Made my way down to Azalea town and saved inside Slowpoke Well.

Alrighty, so I finally have time to do this challenge. I'm starting immediately.

So, I'm Janine, with Meganium, Crobat, and Vaporeon, in case anyone has forgotten. Also, add Ariados to my future party of pokemon, since it can be caught so early on.

Went through the Lighthouse in Olivine City, went to Cianwood and beat Chuck, then went back to Olivine, beat Jasmine for my 6th gym badge and saved in the gym. Gastly evolved into Haunter along the way.
