I, at least, didn't, so I'll wait til it comes out =B

I hope so. I'm a fan of single-staged pokémon, and will be the meanest critic you'll ever have (???)

I have inserted the new world map for the region Splithe! I'm away from my "hacking" computer until Sunday night, so I'll post a screenshot and maybe a video to show it in it's glory! It was the most challenging thing I've done in hacking so far. I think it's because it involved designing an image, tilemaps, and hex editing all in one. There is a weird glitch, though. When you open the Town Map and back out of it, the background of the "bag" is all red instead of the usual blue with the backpack image on the left. It's not a huge deal because it is fine if you back out of the bag completely and go back in from the start menu.

Well, I haven't actually played the hack because I'm not on my laptop right now, but I'll play it when I can. I will say the story sounds good, so I'll be sure to check it out.

BETA 2.0 RELEASE ON AUGUST 30th

The reason beta 2.0 hasn't been released, and I haven't had updates is because one of my spriters hasn't been in contact with me for a long time. Sadly, this means that beta 2.0 will NOT include new sprites for The Tempest members, and several other things like the Old Man showing you how to catch a pokemon. With this being said, there are plenty of other great sprities for you to enjoy! I also encountered a weird glitch when I thought I had correctly inserted the new world map... This means that beta 2.0 won't include that. Please note, that there are zero known bugs/glitches now.

Beta 2.0 info:
1. It will be a .ups patch Due to the fact that I extended the ROM a little bit, you will have to patch with a .ups patcher, not lunar .ips.
2. It is playable through the second gym (Trayne Village)
3. The Macho Brace is obtainable
4. Two "starter" pokemon are obtainable
5. A couple grammar mistakes and oddities were fixed from previous betas
6. If you have already played the previous betas, you should still play this one from the beginning because much has changed, and it is more enjoyable than the previous betas.

Yeah, so mark August 30th on your calendars!

Beta 2.0 is now officially released and playable!

I decided to release it a day early for kicks and giggles! Anyway, due to my spriter not being online for a while, there are some sprites that aren't original such as The Tempest, the old man, Professor Logan, and the intro sprites. But the gameplay is still top notch! Please note that the downloadable patch is a .ups patch, NOT an .ips patch. I provided a link in the FAQ section where you can download a .ups patcher Ok, everyone, have fun playing beta 2.0, and let me have tons of feedback!

Well I just had a little playthrough and I like it a lot. I did not get far and did not end up going to Trayne Valley... I ended up stopping after the first gym but it was definitely fun.

My only suggestion is to have a place where you can make your pokemon relearn moves they missed. Especially if you want to evolve your Eevee to an Espeon or Umbreon. It is easy to get to level 16 or higher before you get the Sun Stone and that can cause the pokemon to miss out on a very important move (Espeon = Confusion)

Is there a move re-learner in Fire Red like D/P/Pt? I never actually played Fire Red... haha Anyway, if there is, it won't be accessible until later in the game.

Can I ask this of people? If you play through beta 2.0 could you fill out this form please?

It was a great game, wasn't to bad, and wasn't the best.
I also like the ev training sector, I also love how their are hardly any bug!
I didn't like one thing the gym leader music was like a normal trainer music.

The game was very good. One of the better hacks I have played in a while. My Umbreon didn't learn a new move after it evolved at level 13 for a very long time. The EV training centre was really good. This should be useful to other people, but I won't be using it.

Anything else you can think of: Could you show us Eevee's and the Eeveelution's Learnsets. That would be helpful in determining when to evolve eevee.

Thanks for your opinions. I always play with music off... so I'm sure a lot of the music is weird.

Oh, haha, thanks for the effort! But I didn't see this post before I did the same thing! Anyway, there is now an Eeveelution Changes section in the first post to help people make decisions at the beginning of the game.

Yes or no to Glaceon, Leafeon, and other forms of Eevee? Cause if the answer is yes... I suggest also getting some DP moves for the Eevee and evos.

It's a 70% no right now. They might be added in later betas.
