I tend to use DesMume for gameplaying and whatnot, but if I need to do debugging or research, I might use No$GBA. The only reason I really stick with DesMume is because it doesn't sacrifice audio for framerate.

Well it's still good for debugging.

That it is. The No$GBA debugger's version is really useful.

I used to use NO$GBA for everything, but it was so buggy and crashy (not to mention how bad DS games look and run on it), so now I've downsized to VBA and DeSmuME.

no$gba, because Desmume runs too slow on my old man computer. I do use it to convert Pokemon save files so I can open up PokeGen. LOL

I preferred No$ until a couple months ago. On my old computer, Desmume was unplayably slow, no matter what settings I used. However, my new i7 runs it perfectly. On top of that, I've been having increasing difficulty getting games released after 2009 to function properly in No$ (after the black screen glitch in HGSS, everything just went downhill). It was still worth the trouble as long as I could play the game with more than 15fps, but now that my new computer runs Desmume at normal speed, it's pretty much pointless to keep No$.

I started with No&GBA but went to Desmume as it has the Speed up Button.

I prefer Deume as you can play straight away but No&GBA seems to be more Compatible but needs alot more setting up

I ran Desmume fine on and i5 Machine

I don't think DS games would run like an angel as well...

I've been using DesMume for a while now, and it works GREAT! I absolutely love it. No$GBA? Tried it for a while... It ain't that great with DS games, at least for me anyway.

Hey everybody! Once a week, I will change my avatar to a video game character(s). If you have any suggestions, PM me. My current avi is of Hito-Shura from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne! It was suggested by TornZero. Someone better suggest the Space Core from Portal 2.

Wow, It's been 6 years and we still didn't make a decent DS emulator.
I hope we can emulate B2W2.

I'v used Desmume myself and it works great! Just as good as my DS. Desmume actually still updates, too, they just released a new version a week ago, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I mainly use it for testing purposes and learning how RNG works, watch the RAM, and etc... and I don't want to mess with what works fine right now.

Desmume is more professional- but rather slow on some PCs. It has many more options- debugging, personalization and other things.

No$GBA is faster - but I dislike the Graphics Engine and it's rather limited.

The only problem about DeSmuME that it's slow.

I prefer Desmume. On my computer it's quite fast and the best part is that he staple. While No$GBA fell out almost every 5 minutes crashing saves and making me to begin from a start.

Although some game like Pokemon Ranger run better on Nogba. On Desmume there are strange artifacts on upper screens...

Wow... how surprising... :/
DS emulation cannot be perfected.
I must say I did try to play White on 3DS and the speed is better on DeSmuME.
Maybe you're not holding Tab?
