But yes, Lucario did die. He said he went off to join his master, who was already dead because he gave his life up to save Mew and it's tree, so yeah.

A while ago, I used to follow it in the morning, but our Network kept repeating episodes, not to mention it took about 1-2 years to get to Galactic Battles, which is playing now.
