Ummm.... I know this emblem wasn't on the request list but I think it should be, since it is requestable. I have seen some people with the"Congrats! You have celebrated a birthday at PC!" emblems, and thought that I would be eligible for it since my birthday was recently. Don't mean to be a nuisance or anything... But I just thought I'd point that out. I'm totally not obsessed with emblems or anything

Sorry, but the emblem says "And it’s the first one you’ve celebrated with us! Here’s to many more.". The "with us" part means you need a birthday thread and having a quick look at Celebrations just now, I couldn't find one. ]:

So, in a way, it's requestable, or what's the case with this emblem? I'm thinking it's on a case-by-case basis but I'd be unsure. It'd be a good idea to have this requestable, because most emblems are spontaneous, but the requestable ones are a bit more direct and to-the-point, as is a birthday.

I (or another staff member) usually just hand out the emblem when I see a new birthday thread in Celebrations. The reason why it's not done automatically is because it'd be, tbh, a load of hassle going through everyone who has a birthday on one day and handing out the emblems. But I guess we could remove the birthday thread requirement part and make it requestable through here like the Veteran one. I kinda like it the way it is now, though.

That said it's not a 100% set emblem. I think it's been handed out before to people with threads so idk exactly what's happening here, but at least that's how I normally do it.

Ah. yeah, because I didn't get one for my 17th, but I did get one for my 16th birthday. So I was a little unsure about it, although perhaps, since you have to present proof of a pairing, perhaps you can have proof of your birthday thread to get the birthday emblem as well.

I'll just stop here before I run my mouth off and start talking about things that don't entirely concern me.
