I hope you'l fix a bug with starters (they won,t evolve), well, when I'm playing your hack I'm creating my own script to get other starters, I wounder why they don' evolve. maybe the reason is that they know this special attack?! Sorry, for my english...

Hi, I was just curious about the following things...

1. Will beta 3.1 be increased from 16mb to 32mb? I ask because it might not work well with GBSP. (It's a saving issue I assume...) Or have u tested this already?
2. Some of the errors that occur on the gba emulator for PSP don't occur on VBA. Is this normal? (Like the Error:Bad Jump 0x810402)

1. Beta 3.1 will be a 16MB ROM at this time. It could be extended in the future but I don't want to do it. It would be great to have such a large game on a 16MB rom.

2. That is normal for other non-vba emulators with beta 2.1. Beta 3.1 will have partial support for non-vba emulators like the one on PSP to make the game playable. There might still be some bugs for it but hopefully not. I've added a neat check for if the emulator is not VBA :)

p.s. Hoenn is not inserted and won't be, it's the Orange Islands that will.

Try evolving your starters out of New Bark Town or Route 29.

I think he is referring to the ones you get from the people around the region. They wont evolve at all, even if you try to breed for a new one. Their cry sounds like Unown. Ive tried everything to get them to evolve, and nothing works. The only starter that evolves is the one I got from Elm at the start.

Where do I find the link to beta 3.0?
Right now I'm playing beta 2.1 and noticed some old game design from pokemon gold like within all gyms.
I found a few videos on youtube showing some new graphics in gyms, why is that?
I couldn't find any link to a more recent version of this pokemon hack.

beta 3 was released to a few people as linkandzelda wasnt planning on finishing it, however it was very buggy (kept crashing at first rival encounter for me)

Hmm, and what witch flying position in kanto region? It's impossible to fly to Pallet town and some other places... Can I give you some ideas about storyline or something for next releases (I mean some events on orange island)?

from what i read a while ago some of the fly spots had to be taken off of the non necessary places due to the lack of them in the base FireRed rom

Well, I think that it should be fixet, of course if is it possible...I found some new "bugs". Some pokemons don't have a description in dex for example caterpie, pidgey...

Beta 2.1 includes full Kanto and Johto, as well as up to the first Orange Islands Gym Leader. As for playing it on GPSPhone, the current beta won't work. When you awaken the beasts (Rakou, Entei, Suicune) the game will crash and the event is mandatory to proceed since it is a Crystal remake. I already tried it. But it will work on Visual Boy Advance and GPSP (well at least till the 8th gym on GPSP, not sure about the rest cause I didn't get that far, should work perfectly fine on VBA)

EDIT: Silver's Kadabra at Victory Road still freezes on the PSP, but I went on the right side and it worked fine.
On the left side, it froze when he sent out Kadabra. Don't know if it was just luck but that's how I got past it. Just beat the Elite Four, didn't find any bugs in the E4 challenge, also beat Brendan (no bugs)

EDIT2: Got 3 badges in Kanto, but I found a way around the GPSPhone crash. I just uploaded my GPSP save file and downloaded it on my iPod and now I'm on Cycling Road in Kanto. =P I wish I thought of that earlier.
