Crustle reminds me of my friend debbie who sits in her House all day long c:

Named after Greek Goddess of the hunt and wilderness.

My most amusing nicknames in White are probably Eminem the Emboar and Budgie the Tranquill. Purely because they make no sense on the Pokemon, whereas Snoop Dogg the Lillipup -totally- makes sense.

I can't quite remember what I named my other boxed Pokemon, though :(

Tripjaw/archeops - because its jaws reminded me of beartraps and one of my best friends' names is Trip. <:
Kabutan/(karrablast/escavalier) - kaburumo (karrablast's japanese name)+ titan.
Sharps/druddigon - IT'S LIKE HUGGING A SERIES OF VERY SHARP MOUNTAIN BABIES
Mitos/reuniclus - comes from mitosis, when cells split into two.
Caeru/golurk - Latin for blue.
Dharma/darumaka - I think I saw this name on TV when I caught her. Plus it sounds like daruma.

I tend to nickname every single Pokemon I catch, no matter how forgettable it may be. I'll just list my team's nicknames...

• Hiro the Servine: Snivy looks like Excalibur from the manga/anime Soul Eater and one of the few people able to wield Excalibur was Hiro.
• Ceino the Simipour: Ceino as in See No Evil, which is what I believe Panpour and Simipour are based upon.
• Rayban the Krokorok: The black membrane over Krokorok and his evolution's eyes look like sunglasses and Ray-Ban is a designer brand of sunglasses.
• Mashima the Darumaka: Mashima refers to the Mashima family from the Tekken series. They are all viciously strong and have giant eyebrows like Darumaka and Darmanitan.
• Jimihat the Solosis: Jimihat as in Jimmy Hat since the entire Solosis line reminds me of a growing embryo...and you stop the creation of such a thing with a jimmy hat XD

Tempo the Serperior - I know, the line has nothing to do with timing or Own Tempo or anything, but I wanted something that sounded better than Smugleaf, and, well...

Marik the Liepard - Neko Neko Marik! I'm such an Abridged Series fan >w< (and I luuurve Neko Neko Marik)

Pendant the Simipour - I'm pretty spontaneous when I name Pokémon. I was all like "Panpour? Well, Pendant sounds a bit like Panpour. Perfect!"

Fawke the Unfezant - named for an OC of mine who was a boy with wings. If the Pidove had turned out to be a girl, she would have been Etha, Fawke's counterpart in the story. :B

Comet the Zebstrika - named after a reindeer. This was after I'd seen a Sawsbuck, too. Somehow, I managed to associate Blitzle with Blitzen, and then to the other reindeer, and then Comet.

Tardigrade the Reuniclus - because tardigrades are squishy-adorable and Solosis are squishy-adorable, and Reunclus has an air of tardigrade in its design. I really love tardigrades. :P

Zoroark/Todd: Todd from Fox & the Hound

Krookodile/Vector: Vector the crocodile from the Sonic the Hedgehog series

Archeops/Tsubasa: Couldn't think of anything else & I know that Tsubasa had something to do with wings

Sawsbuck/Blitzen: I think you can figure this one out x3

Beartic/Vega: The brightest star in the Lyra constellation, I believe. Also, I was thinking of Zoids at the time

Cofagrigus/Marik: Yu-Gi-Oh!

Deino/Nikodemus: Seems like a fitting name. I think it sounds a bit ominous since it's a rather brutal Pokemon according to the Pokedex. The Secret of NIMH, lol

Victini/Klaus: Supposedly mean victory & since Victini is the victory Pokemon...

Mienfoo/Ling: FMA Brotherhood/manga. From some reason it's stance reminds me of Ling.

Drilbur/Bakuryu: Bakuryu from Bloody Roar, the dude that turns into a mole

Lillipup/Copper: Counter part for my Zoroark xD
