The top one has her Original (O) outfit, the bottom has the Advanced (A) one.

Personally, I prefer the older one (not the oldest one, but the one before this), I didn't think the extra hair looked too big.

Neither did I, lets see what AR thinks before I change it back.

Edit: I'd also like to say that this is my first thread to get to 2 pages, not to mention 3, so thank you all for the support!

The 2nd spite might need some darker shades on the clothes, since the outlines stands out alot. (Black outline, right?)

But, still, not bad I.M.O. ;]

Eh, I'm not really good outlines. What do you think I should do, use a dark yellow outline, or darken the inside colors?

Hmm, maybe for the outlines you should use a dark yellow outlines. And for shades, a bit of a darker shade of yellow (inside, on the clothes).

OK, lets see what I can do... Using a dark yellow outline dosn't quite work I'm afraid, so how does this look?

@ AR: OK

Study the D/P overworld style a bit more to see that there are simplified colors and not much shading yet it looks stunning. Look at D/P's original Professor Oak and compare/study to improve.

Im saying this because I am very experianced with sprite artwork, ESPECIALLY Pokemon styled sprites. If I have the time I will show you examples.

The outlines are all black (or most of them are black). D=

The hair could use some better shading, and on the jacket (i think it's a jacket) the Voltorb needs some shading, too. ;o But, it's a pretty creative edit to me. ;]

Personally, I prefer a colored outline to a black outline, gives the sprite a softer look. Most people don't like them (just like they don't like all black) as they like a mix of it. However, on humans, a mix is typically best :P On pokemon I prefer the all colored.

Rough Showing on "softness" (Hope ya dont mind)

And sorry, it is gonna be somewhat horrible, haha. I did it in like 4 minutes in paint <_< >_> Obviously these aren't the colors you'd be using for the outlines :P

Little offtopic: But I love his pants, haha.

I don't think its off topic, one is short and the other is long, me and my friend came up with it, and I don't mind you tried to show me what people meant. How's this?

you still need to get rid of alot of black outline.
especially on the hair!

the red for the pokeball on the shirt is to bright. choose a different shade of red.
is that the default red on paint?
like the ones that are first in your canvas? never use those.

Ok, well its still to bright.
I would suggest choosing a more saturated red.

EDIT: I just checked it, it is the default red.

Hehe, isn't that the red I quickly replaced it for? XD

And there's still way too much black outline in the shirt and hair.

Hmm, it's better, and I like it, but the pokeball on the jacket still kinda bothers me (it looks kind of plain I.M.O)

Try using a really dark color that fits with the color it is near instead of black.

And there's too much black outline on the boots XD
