Here are some banners (and a few avatars) for Hoenn Mirror World and the sequel I made in Paint. The fan made sprite were made by some friends and mine and I've got the backgrounds from Kirby's Rainbow Resort. Enjoy!

Wow, they're all great. ;

Only thing I can really advise on are the sprites...try to avoid making them look too bland or bunch them up in one space, turns out a bit cramped.

Otherwise, unique idea with colorful decorations. Nice job on this! ^_~

I like what you've done with the backgrounds, but your blending is off. The repetitive fonts and sprites kinda destroy the nice theme you've got going there...

Well, as for the sprites, I had to work with what I had. I've actually requested almost all the fan made sprites (only one was made by me: the cat witch girl).

For the font... well, you're right. I could've done a lot better aside from the Lucida Unicode (forgot the name) that I've used for my fic and the R/S style.

i like how you did the backgrounds, but the sprites and the text mess it up. i think get rid of the text AND the sprites, and put some real pics in there. when you put sprites in a banner, it makes it look like a t-card. (trust me, i've had a LOT of experience with banners) i recommend just putting small pics in, not sprites.

Unfortunately, I can't take off the sprites.

You see, they're the closest to "official" looking I could get. I know a few don't look too professional, but like I said earlier, I had to work with what I have. I have actual pictures of the fan characters, but they're handrawn, which wouldn't blend too well for the banners.

So, yeah. The sprites are the best I've got.

Well, I can't use photoshop too well aside from what I've learned in my graphic arts class. If you were expecting my banners to be anything like my current sigs (which were made by a couple of pals of mine), then... I'm really REALLY sorry. I can do a lot of stuff on Paint because I'm more comfortable with it, but I'm almost clueless on Photoshop.

Back on the subject of my banners, I've finally got a sprite of Shadow Mariah from PokemonChampion2K4 and I'll have her banner ready by tonight. :D

Heh.... that Shrooko Duo banner was one of the first I have ever done.... lol. Yay.... my sprites! Finally showing them around diffrent forums? Oh and to all posting.... I am the one who made most of the fan sprites... not the best in teh world, but whatever.... lol.

I banner I just made a few minutes ago. I made the backgrounds in VCW VicMan's Photo Editor. Pretty cool, huh?


Shadow Mariah's Blaziken. I made it a few weeks ago.


The Golden Gateway. My first sprite ever. I used the main mirror door from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and added the small Pokeballs on it (after recoloring them of course).


My first character sprite. She was going to be a character in a fan fic that I was planning, but it got canned. Still, I like showing her around.

Boy, this thread got to the second page rather quickly.

Pretty awesome, eh?

Basically, I took Soara's avas of the Hoenn Gym Leaders (found here) and the level maps (which I had to rip from a Kirby and the Amazing Mirror ROM since, for some bizarre reason, Kirby's Rainbow Resort didn't have them). Then I played around with the Paint Edit plug-in on VCW VicMan's Photo Editor. After that, I want to MS Paint and put in the Pokemon Icons from PE2K as well as the text.

I think these are my best ones yet...even though some of them are sorta funky looking.
