-Got HM03 Surf
-Got to Olive city, and climbed the lighthouse
-Surfed to Cianwood city
-Trained all my Pokemon
-Went to the gym, beat Chuck and got the badge
-Got Hm02 Fly
-Got the medicine and brought it to Jasmine
-Defeated Jasmine and got the badge
-Got to Mahogany Town
-Defeated Gyarados in the Lake of Rage, and talked to Lance
-Went Through the Rocket Hideout
-Went to the gym and defeated Pryce

This was supposed to be my team, but I just realized that Sandslash is a Leaf Green exclusive Pokemon, so can I have another one instead?

I can't catch either Sandshrew or Sandslash, just encounter them by other trainers

How about you choose if you feel like beating Alder, you can, but it doesn't have to be required since beating Ghetsis does give you a hall-of-fame.

Not a bad team, I'd say. Though there are two trade evolutions and none of those can be gotten until at least after the third gym, so I can change some/all if necessary.

Went inside the S.S Anne, rub a dub dub'ed the captain's back, and receive the Cut HM
Went to challenge Lt. Surge and won (And which My lovely Paras evolved <3)
Got the Flash HM from Pof. Oak's aide.
Went through the horrid Rock Tunnel and arrived in Lavender Town
