I'd recommend Hearts, but it's import-only (or download onto emulator and play). There is a Script Translation so you can understand what they're saying (though it doesn't translate the skits) and guides that teach you how the gameplay works, but it isn't directly fantranslated like Innocence |D;; (One of the main reasons I got it was 'cause Tetsuya Kakihara voices the main character. I also heard good things about the battle system, which is different from the typical Tales of battle system, and I must admit it is pretty good. The characters are also lovable, too <3)

Eternia and Legendia also seem like good games. Can't really help on the Tales side of things 'cause I've only been able to play Symphonia/DotNW, Abyss, TotW:RM, Phantasia, and Hearts ><;

Haha. That's what I said before replaying KHII. It's strange though.. even though I didn't consider myself an actual fan until earlier this month I still had sort of played a few of the games and asked for a few of them for Christmas presents. Though none of them I had beaten until KHII and actually paid more attention to the story hahah.....

Since being a fan means you're biased to the point where you'll buy any of their games and love the shizz out of them without question, I think Pokémon is the only game series I'm an actual fan of.

I'd be more of a FF and Tales of fan if I actually had the consoles a good portion of the games are on (esp. in the case of Tales of) :< But yeah other than that I'm a Pokemon fan XD;

As for KH I only really got to play a bit of the first, even less of the second, and then 368/2 Days, so I'm not too well-versed on the series ^^;
