Best and Worst Gaming Weapon

Since the birth games, there have been trusty weapons in the hands of the heros, villains, NPCs and so on. They have ranged from a standard sword, a enchanted Lance, to a Unicorn that fires rainbow beams from its behind, which the picture so eloquently pictures.

What I want to know is what are your top favourite weapons and least favourite? Explain why and it can be for any reason.

It is hard to choose a "best" gaming weapon because there are so many but one of my favourites are the Blades of Chaos. The sick combos and glowing red just makes them so badass.

As for the worst weapon one that comes to mind is the flowers in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. They make no sense what so ever and are you look like a pansie for using them. The only plus is they help you with your girlfriends.

Best weapon? The foam finger in Dead Space 2. Best because it not only destroys things, but it looks completely ridiculous and unique while doing it.

Least favorite would probably be any gun that makes big booms with only a little ammo per round. Just that kind of gun in general I hate using, I would much prefer guns with more bullets and less damage.

The best weapon would be the Scorpion Flail with the Shock Mod in Rachet Gladiator, you slam it into the ground and lightning is sent flying to all the enemies in the area. Too bad the game sucked though.

Worst weapon would be the Black Hole in Megaman V, you had a weapon that could only fly upwards and you would still find more uses for it. The Black Hole was not only pitifully weak it was also slow to connect and you can't do anything while you wait for it to connect so you get owned pretty bad. Not to mention that the boss weak to it being Mercury is able to shoot like five grab busters at you before the Black Hole connects causing you to lose your Super tank and all your energy tanks, you're much better off just using the arm cannon against him. I just hate it when weapons are completely useless but then I hate weapons that have a use but are completely inferior to a default weapon with infinite ammo even more.

Best. Blue Shell. No contest. The power to ruin someone's day in a fraction of a second.

Worst... Magikarp. Because 1. Pokemon are weapons. And 2. It sucks.

What's you guys' problem with the flowers and other joke weapons from GTA-SA? I absolutely love them, few things are more fun than running amok and killing random innocent people ... with a bunch of flowers.

As for the worst weapon... Well, I never played a lot of shooters other than GTA... and CS (with a total online time of 3 hours or so, haha). And in the latter, there is thing accursed thing...

Best weapon... I've got so many choices that it's overwhelming. Still, I've chosen the speargun from Bioshock 2. It's insanely sadistic to watch a hapless splicer get a spear stuck into their skull, & it becomes even more so if the said spear sticks them onto a wall, thus leaving them hanging around like a crucified person.

Worst weapon for me would be UT's ripper. Razor-sharp discs bouncing everywhere = so many ways to kill yourself if you're not really careful.

Hmmm...let me remember...Oh yea the best weapon for me is well Master Chiefs and Spartans fists from Halo, equip with either a skull, a bomb, or a flag. It's a instant kill if you get hit by them.

And the worse?...Halo Grunts. Their weapons by the Covenant right? So they their just sent in for slaughter. Put on birthday grunt, aim for the head and shoot. YAY! -insert confide part-

Well there are the obvious favorites like the Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda series, and i also like the lancer from the Gears of War series.but my favorite obscure weapon is from Saints Row the Third named "the Penetrator" its basically a giant erm... womens pleasure object attached to a baseball bat and the lulz are never ending while beating rival gang members with it xD

As for least favorite...... i can't really think of any
