Hmm, that still depends, if I became lazy, I might just use their mugshots as their Trainer Card sprites to make an ID-like Trainer Card, but we'll see. xD xD

I'll be honest; I just really don't like the concept.

It's not that I don't like J-Rock (hell, I have Maximum the Hormone on my ipod), but a hack based on a concept that the vast majority of people don't know about or don't like is kinda stupid. It's like me saying "Oh, I've been listening to Dr. Acula lately... I know! I'm gonna make a hack about them!" Now I asure you mot people on this forum don't know who Dr. Acula are, so it would be a stupid idea anyway. The same principles go with your hack.

The screenshots look good, but I just really think that the concept is off? And human characters battling Pokémon? Really? It just really puts me off.

I'm not forcing anyone to play it, nor to like it.
I thank you for speaking out your opinion though.

I posted this hack here, knowing that many people might hate my concept.
This thread here, is dedicated to those who might like the hack as a whole.

The new mugshots really look nice! But they both have brown hair... Couldn't you make everyone with a mugshot have a different colour hair?

Thanks for the kind words!

Well, the other characters will have different color for their hairs.
I just felt using brown for those two.


Also, after doing some more mugshots, I'll shift to making some custom tiles.
I hope that everything'll turn out well.

Brown just seems so common and plain and stuff, but its still great.

Yep, brown is still great despite all of that.

I will, I will. Don't expect beautiful tiles though..

So for now, here are some updates:

~ Another mugshot


~ Some OW's have been updated to match with the mugshots


Lastly, I'm trying to change the storyline into a bit more pokemon-ish one.
I'll also try to remove the focus from the girls.
I'll update the main post once everything is in place.

Pokemon Invasion will be using the Base ROM: Ruby.

If you want more information regarding Pokemon Invasion, a VM, or PM will do.

I saw the Invasion thing and I must say its a really good concept! When I saw you were going to alter the storyline I thought it would be a waste of time, but as I've said its a good concept. You don't really explain Invasion's details well, like clans will we be able to have many clans or something. I just think that a detail like that should be explained.

Well, I haven't really started doing anything yet. xD xD
The Invasion Concept is nothing but concept as of now.
I think I'm going to make it a prequel to Live Tour.
*As for the clans I'm planning on making them like the clans of medieval Japan, but in Invasion, instead of thrashing each other, they'll be helping one another to try and eradicate a larger threat.

Here are two things I'm currently considering doing:
- I'll finish Live Tour first, then work on with Invasion.
- I'll work on both hacks at the same time.
The latter one seems like a no-no, since I'm the only one working on these two projects.

I'll be out for a while due to school projects, and overhauling Live Tour(*storyline, scripts, etc.).
I'll try to bring updates with me when I get back.

Thanks to those who look forward to these hacks of mine.
I lilly(*really) appreciate it.

Updates:


~ I remapped some parts of Aurora City.


~ Trainer ID Cards

~ Events until the end of Beta 1 are done, and ready to be inserted.
~ I'm thinking of putting a "Skip Button" to skip the concert sequences. (*for non-Scandal fans)

~ Main post's "Story" section has been updated.


To-do List:
~ Finish mapping the city after Aurora.
~ Sprite and insert new tiles.
~ Re-script some major events.

The trainer cards look really nice, but isn't there a way we can only get the card after we become a knight suit thingy? It would give the effect that the trainer card is needed to become a knight suit user. Are the heors defualt names squall and Serena

I don't really know if that can be done since from the start of the game you are already given your Trainer Card.

The trainer cards are looking nice indeed.

I don't know how it would affect the current gameplay but if you succeed in finding the ASM pointers (not pointers to text displayed) of "POKEDEX" and "[PLAYER]", you could possibly switch them to one another. That way, (not sure if this would work) you'd have pokedex in the beginning and by activating the bit flag of getting pokedex, you'd get trainer card instead.

Hmm.. That sounds a lot of work, but I'll see what I can do.
And also, the POKEDEX won't be obtainable in this hack. (*since you know.. with the Knight Suits, and stuff.)

~ Fixed that annoying bug/problem where you automatically enter a house in Heiwana just by stepping in front of its door.


~ Minor map changes.

~ Major script changes.


BUG REPORT/S:

~ Accessing the player's Trainer Card will nullify the effect of the Day and Night System.
(This can be fixed by battling a wild pokemon.)
